RAE-RAY'S STOWAWAYS:
Allison paces the floor in agitation, peering out of the front window every so often in search of Lindsay. When Lindsay finally arrives, she yanks her inside and tells her it's about time. Where the hell has she been? Lindsay confesses to the accident. Allison glares at her, making a sarcastic remark about Lindsay doing a great job of keeping a low profile. She rips into Lindsay about risking being discovered by the police.
Lindsay assures her that she wasn't spotted, because she didn't stick around long enough to be seen. She wasn't even spotted by the person she hit. Allison says, What! You hit someone? Who? She wants to know. Lindsay shakily tells her it was Nora. Allison bursts into a short bout of maniacal laughter, and Lindsay wants to know what she finds funny. Allison says that Lindsay proclaiming the incident to be an accident is what's so funny.
Lindsay tells Allison that it really was an accident, Nora came out of nowhere, and she tried to swerve away from her, but she couldn't. Allison says, Sure, you couldn't. Lindsay is annoyed that Allison doesn't believe her, and she asks her why would she think that it wasn't an accident? Allison spells it out for her..
Well, let's see, Lindsay. You hate the woman so much you can taste it, you drugged her with a memory-erasing chemical, you let her remain captive to Troy or Colin, whatever.. but you only hit her with your car by accident? Come on, Lindsay! I'm your cell mate, remember?
Lindsay continues to profess her innocence, saying that she really did hit Nora by mistake. Allison asks her what took her so long. ..
"Oh, no! Don't tell me you stayed behind to help her? You could have been spotted! You stupid blonde!"
"I threw her a rope, and took off," Lindsay said, "Nobody saw me."
"How do you know that? And why did you do that anyway?"
Lindsay stares at her in disbelief. How can she ask such a question, Lindsay wants to know..Nora was trapped in the water! She could have died!
"So?" Allison says, "What's wrong with that? You know what your problem is? You leave too many mistakes behind. You don't see me with any loose ends running around, do you?"
As Allison says that, she stares into the silver Woman of the Year award that she took from Roxy, and her mind flashes back to the conversation she had with Roxy earlier. Drunken Roxy told her that she can do Allison in by running to the police and informing them that she saw Allison.
Then she tells Lindsay that she has no intention of going back to Statesville, and no one is going to be a threat to her freedom. Lindsay has had enough of Allison, and she tells Wacko that she's going to go the basement and get...
"NO!" Allison says sharply, "Don't go in the basement."
"What? Why not? Is there something down there you don't want me to see?"
"No, there's something down there that you don't want to see!"
(Does anyone else hear a medley of "The Addams Family" theme and Jason Voorhies' chant playing in the background??)
FIRE!!!
But I'm not talking about Al Holden's shenanigans, I'm referring to the steamy stuff going on at the Bayberry Inn between Cris and Nat while Jen sands on the other side of the door! (SSSSSSSSSSizzlin!)
Due to the MPAA and FCC regulations, I cannot put into words the, um...well..actions, um-hmm, that's right, "actions", that were going on between Cris and Nat, soooo, I'll just move on to what happens next. Say, the other side of the door, maybe??
WHEW! What a relief! Anyone have a fresh, dry towel?? Too sweaty in there! Okay, where was I? Ah, yes. The other side of the door..okay.
Dizzy Lizzy stops herself about six times from knocking on Natalie's door, talking herself through a variety of approaches she could use to initiate a conversation between her and her archenemy. Just as she's about to knock, her cell phone rings.
It's Sam, calling to warn her that Lindsay is on the loose. He instructs her to go back to his house, and if Lindsay happens to call her, try to keep her on the line until he gets there. Jen tells him that she will, and she hangs up. She ponders outside of Natalie's door for a few seconds, then turns to leave.
Inside, Nat and Cris jump apart at the sound of the cell phone. They each ask the other one if they heard something coming from the hall, and they both say that they did. They both get up and head cautiously toward the door, only to find no one there. Cris closes the door and they turn to face each other awkwardly.
After a brief silence, Cris says that he should leave. Natalie agrees, and tells him that she wants to say something to him before he goes. She tells him that she wants to thank him for being the best, and one true friend that she has. He tells her that she should have lots of friends, because she a terrific person. She tells him that nevertheless, because of him she has all the evidence she needs to stop doubting her sanity and freedom.
At that point, Cris' cell phone rings, and it's one of Llanview's finest calling to inform him that Bo and Antonio are returning to the station and would like to see Cris with regards to the evidence he has. Cris and Nat head out to get their plan in motion.
BATES' MOTEL!
Psycho Pal Al strikes his first match as he continues to talk to himself about Natalie and Jen and Cristian. He tells himself that Natalie is a psycho who needs help...
(Okay, I can't resist..WHAAAAAAT did he just say?? Is he SERIOUS???
OMG, people! This alien stuff is POTENT, ya hear??)
She pushed Ben out of the window, or at least one of her alters did, and Cris keeps trying to defend her. When Jen finds out that Natalie set this fire and Cris defends Natalie, Jen will be so angry that she'll come running back to the only man who truly loves her.
(Okay, now for the nauseating part..Al has a flashback about his and Jen's quarry encounter, the one and only encounter, I might add, and then his mind follows up with a fantasy about what Jen is going to do when she finds out about the fire. The mini-movie featured Jen acting dizzier than usual as she tells Cris that he must choose right then..Her or Natalie? Cris, watching Natalie being dragged away in handcuffs, tells Jen that he cannot let Natalie face the situation alone. Jen stands alone heartbroken, and Al enters from the balcony, like a very twisted Humphrey Bogart, to take her in his arms, and as is the trademark description for the Powerpuff Girls..he saves the day!)
OH, puhleeze! Get REAL, writers! Get real, AL!!
Okay folks, let me tell you how this really went down..
Al sets the fire, then realizes that he has to establish an alibi for himself. He thinks for a minute, then an idea pops into his head. Okay, he pushes the wastebasket over to a window beneath a long curtain then leaves.
A few minutes later, Ditzy Jane returns and, okay, she reacts normally, she freaks out at the flames. But hold on, there's a flip side to this. The flames were sooo not that high or even widespread...until Jen tried to "put it out", that is.
Little Braniac Mini-Me decides to take a DRY piece of clothing, put it INTO the flames, panics, then takes the flaming piece of clothing and toss it, flames and all, ON to a chair..thus, SPREADING the fire!!
AAARGH! Anyway, Jen is now coughing and sputtering, and eventually delivers the worst form of a faint that I've ever seen...
CSI: LLANFAIR: DAY TWO
Or is it just Day one-Part two? Well, Niki and Ben are sitting in the living room enduring their house arrest, and Ben is still focusing on his new memory. The red hair was a wig. Niki says that's impossible. Natalie is a natural red-head, why would she wear a wig?
Ben tells her that's exactly the point: She wouldn't because she didn't push him . The person he was arguing with was wearing a wig. Niki tries to convince Ben that his mind is playing tricks on him because of all of the trauma he suffered. Ben says he knows what he's talking about, and it wasn't Natalie. Niki realizes that he's not budging on his memory, so she says..
"Oh, my goodness! I know who did it!"
Ben is hopeful and shocked, and he eagerly asks Niki to reveal her suspect.
It was Allison Perkins! Niki says, but Ben doesn't get that feeling of resolution he was looking for. Even with all of the reasons that Niki listed that would make Allison the perfect choice, Ben still feels that something is missing from the puzzle. Niki tried to force-feed the theory to him and make him agree with her, but he tells her two crucial reasons why Allison can be eliminated as a suspect...
Number one, if Allison tried to kill him, then she would also have been trying to kill Dave. Niki counters that maybe Allison knows that Ben isn't Dave, and it infuriated her. Ben grants her that possibility, but then he throws her a whammy...
Number two, Allison was in prison at the time of his fall. Niki tells him that she could have escaped. Ben shakes his head, saying,]
"What, she escaped long enough to push me and then went back to Statesville? (Ding, ding! That line was nominated Joke of the Day!), No one likes prison food that much! No it had to be someone who doesn't like Natalie and wants to set her up to get her out of the way."
Niki grits her teeth, realizing that she can no longer use Allison as a decoy, and then....SHAZAAAM! She gets another idea. She lets out another exaggerated gasp, and says,
"I know! I know who did it! (Of course you do, you lush! YOU did it!)
But you won't like it, darling. It was your niece, Jennifer Rappaport."
"Do you hear yourself?" Ben shouts angrily, "You're saying my niece did this? Why would she do that?"
Niki reminds him that it was he who said that the person would have to hate her and want Natalie out of the way. Jen fits both profiles. She hates Natalie's friendship with Cris and she wants her out of the picture. She went as far as to accuse Natalie of pushing her down in the garden.
Ben asked Niki if Natalie did it, and Niki says, "NO! No! That's the point, she didn't!"
Ben says he doesn't care what kind of problems his niece is having with Nat, Jen would never do something like that!
"Jen would never do something like what?" calls a voice from behind them. They both turned to face Sam. He reposes the question, but Niki says it was unimportant and too trivial to waste Sam's time. Why is Sam there, exactly? Niki asks. Sam says he comes bearing bad news. Allison has escaped, and he wanted to make sure that Viki and Ben were safe. He came to tell them that he was going to hire some extra security...
"NO!" Niki snaps, startling the men. She explains that she has more than enough security from Bo's men. Anyway, the Davidsons manage to convince Sam that they'll be fine, and at that point the doorbell rings.
Niki rushes past Sam to answer it. It's Al. Niki is annoyed, but tries to act as Viki would and asks him what he's doing there, and so late. Al says he came to see Jessica. Niki tells him she's out with Seth. Al says he figured that Jess would need a friend right now with everything that's happened.
Niki says thanks, but Jess is fine. She's about to slam the door in his face when Sam enters, giving Al a cold glare. Al tells Sam that he knows he's Sam's least favorite person, but he apologized to Jen and they're friends again. Jen is amazing, Al tells Sam, the way she's forgiven me."
Sam nastily says that that's what makes him a proud father. Then, Sam turns to Ben and says that he has to rush back home to Jen to make sure Lindsay hasn't tried to contact her. Al butts in to the conversation, asking Sam why he's rushing so much. Jen isn't home, she's at the movies. Sam say...
"Uh, nooo she's not! I sent her home to listen out for her mother to call.;
Al freaks everyone out as he turns and freaks out and runs out the door...
Outside the Llanfair house, al panics, telling himself,
