Todd and crew

Todd walks back into Bo’s apartment and hears Alex on the phone.  He is mad and asks her whom she was calling.  She says she was calling Blair to tell her that she will be giving Jack her bone marrow and saving his life just like she did for Starr.  Todd and Gabby are horrified that Alex told Blair and Todd doesn’t know what to do.  Then he asks how she got Blair’s number in Texas and Alex says she didn’t know that Blair was in Texas.  She says she left a message at their house in Llanview.  Todd is tremendously relieved because of course, messages are made to be erased which is just what he intends to do.

Starr is in Texas and decides to call home to see if there are any messages from her friends at home and she hears the message from Alex.  She is very confused and calls Todd.  She tells him about the message she heard and asks who Alex is.  Todd has no answers.  Starr asks what bone marrow is and if Jack is sick…and she also asks who the lady was and how did she save her life.  Todd asks if Starr has told Blair about the message yet and she hasn’t because Blair is busy with Kelly seeing the house.  Todd doesn’t know what to do.

The doctor finally gets Alex’s test results back and she is a perfect match for Jack.  They agree to head to the hospital and pick up Jack and Alex tells Todd she’s not getting on that table without the million dollars in her hands.  He agrees.  They get to the hospital and send Alex into the dressing room to change into a hospital gown, but they don’t realize that there is another door on the other side of the dressing room.  Alex doesn’t find the gowns in that room fashionable enough, so she goes in search of the gowns they give to celebrities and she falls upon Troy’s office.  She walks in on him and asks if he remembers her…he doesn’t.  She tells him she’s at the hospital to save lives with her body.  He is curious.  She says she’s there to use her bodily fluids to save lives and he thinks she’s looking for the blood bank.  She says that’s not it and as she bends over seductively, she tells him she will tell him the whole story.

Ben, Sam, Nora, Troy

Troy walks into his office and finds Nora sitting on his desk.  He thinks it’s a nice surprise.  She has brought him an empty envelope.  He wonders what this is all about and she tells him she’s been studying up on stamps collecting and found that one at home.  He’s touched that she has taken an interest in his hobby and thanks her.  She says she has another motive for being there…she wants to ask him over for dinner tomorrow night since their date was cut short.  He agrees and asks what kind of home cooked meal she’ll be serving.  She tells him she doesn’t cook, but has lots of take-out menus.  That’s fine with Troy.  She invites him over for 7:00 and he asks her to make it 8:00.  She asks jokingly if he’s got another date and he says not, but his schedule will be backed up because at 11:00 he’s going on a 50-mile charity bike ride.  He asks if she rides and she says yes (not) and he tells her to come along.  She hems and haws but can’t get herself out of it so he expects to see her there.

After she leaves Troy she runs into Ben who asks her if she knows what she’s doing to his brother.  They have a long talk where Nora tells him that she is very sorry that things didn’t work out…that she understand him being angry on Sam’s behalf and hopes that they can again be friends one day.  Ben can’t believe that it’s over for Nora and Sam after all these years and Nora says that it has been many years…many years of just never getting it right.  She tells Ben that she’s hurting, too, but Ben tells her that he’s sorry, but she’s not his main concern, his brother is.  She understands and tells him this was Sam’s decision and Ben says that this is all Troy’s fault. Nora tells him it’s not Troy’s fault…that she ruined her relationship with Sam.  Ben tells her that no matter what she or the town thinks, Troy is not so honorable.  Ben tells her that Troy didn’t do everything in the name of his brother and he didn’t put Lindsay in jail for the sake of what’s right….he did everything to get Nora…because he wants her.  Nora asks what’s wrong with him wanting her.  She said Troy may have done some things she’s not happy about, but nobody is perfect.  Ben says that Sam is as close to perfect as you can get and Nora agrees.  Just then, Troy overhears them and asks if anything is wrong.  Ben says no and thanks Nora for her time and leaves.  Troy tells Nora he overheard everything and Nora says she doesn’t care what anyone thinks.  Troy goes back to work and says he’ll see her at the bike ride.

Lindsay, Jen, Sam

Jen gets to Statesville.  Sam is going to meet her there.  She sees her mother and all Lindsay wants to hear about is the wedding.  Jen has to tell her that there was no wedding and Lindsay is shocked.  Jen tells her how Al lied to her and that he can walk.  Lindsay doesn’t believe it.  Jen says everybody saw it and he admitted what he did.  Lindsay tells Jen that Al must really love her to go to that extreme and maybe she should give him another chance.  Jen is shocked that her mother would advise her to do that.  She tells Lindsay that it’s over and Lindsay tells her she can reschedule the wedding.  Jen tells her that she’s back with Cris and Lindsay goes crazy.  She can’t believe Jen went back to Cris and just then Sam walks in.  Jen is very upset because Lindsay is really letting her have it about Cris and Sam tells Jen to wait outside.

Lindsay is furious at Sam for letting this happen and letting Jen go back to Cris.  Again, Lindsay blames this on Nora.  Sam can’t believe it.  Sam tells her that Nora and Troy are now dating and Lindsay almost loses her mind. She is furious and vows revenge.

Niki, Natalie, Jordan

Natalie goes over to talk to Viki at the Break Bar and Jordan comes in.  She just stands back and watches.  Natalie wonders what Viki is doing there and explains that she’s not too old to be there, she just meant she’s never seen her there before.  Niki tells Natalie to leave her alone because she’s meeting someone and she’s busy.  Natalie is mad and tells Viki that she is being horrible to her when all she’s trying to do is fit into the family and get along with everyone.  Niki tells her not to try so hard and to please leave her alone.  Natalie grabs her things and leaves…then remember she must have left her wallet up at Cristian’s place.

Jordan tells Niki that she really doesn’t believe that Ben will cheat on her and Niki says he will…it will just take the right setting.  She tells Jordan that Ben will be sleeping in a room at the Palace Hotel and she should go up there and get into bed with him.  Jordan asks how she’s sure he’ll be sleeping and Niki says she has it all taken care of.  Jordan says she doesn’t usually do this kind of thing but Niki hands her a wad of cash and she shuts up.

Niki heads for the hospital and goes to the medicine room with Ben’s keys.  She finds a drug that will knock him out and as she’s ready to leave, she runs into Ben who asks what she’s doing there and what she’s doing with his keys.

Cris, Al, Natalie

Cris comes out of his apartment to find Al checking out the hallway.  Cris asks what he’s doing there and Al tells him he’s thinking about moving in.  Cris is shocked and asks where.  Al says the apartment across the hall is vacant and he’s taking it.  Cris is furious and tells him he’s not moving in where he lives with Jenn so he can become a stalker and go after Jen.  Al taunts him saying that Cris has no control over it…it’s a free country and besides, his father owns the building.  Cris punches Al, who then gets up and they both start fighting.  Natalie comes by and tries to break it up.  Cris and Al separate, but then Al goes for Cris and throws him into the wall, smashing Natalie into the wall as well.  Al leaves and Cris goes back to Natalie who is lying on the floor unconscious.
