He found a drawer open that was normally locked and the key is missing and so is a diamond and emerald bracelet that he gave Viki. Natalie insists she did not take the bracelet. Jessica shows Ben that she has the bracelet. Viki had asked her to have it repaired. Ben apologizes to Natalie. The phone rings and Ben has to take the call. Jessica goes to talk to Ben. She admits to stealing something that is just what they need and there will be no stopping them now.
Sam and Lindsay
Sam comes home with balloons and a Welcome Home banner for Nora and Matthew. Nora has not come home yet, so he leaves Nora a note to call him as soon as she gets in regarding Troy. Sam is putting up the banner when Lindsay walks in. She wants to discuss Jen and Cris but Sam doesnt want to talk to Lindsay. He tells her he likes Cris and gave Jen and Cris his blessing. Lindsay tells Sam she guarantees Cris is heading for a fall. Sam wants to know how she would know anything like that and demands to hear what she has done now. Lindsay warns Sam that Cris will turn Jen away from him also. Sam tries to make Lindsay understand that people have turned away from her because of the things she does. Sam names all the relationships she has ruined including their marriage. She insists that was Noras fault. She knows Nora even enjoyed hearing that Jen wont speak to Lindsay. Sam doesnt know Nora is back in town and wants to know where Lindsay saw Nora. He is afraid she may be in danger from Troy. Sam checks his phone messages and there is a message from Nora to meet him in the park. He walks Lindsay out the door and goes to the park. Sam gets to the park and Nora is not there. A police officer that knows Sam comes by and tells him he saw Nora and Troy carrying Matthew out of the park. Matthew appeared injured.
Nora, Matthew and Troy
At the park, Troy rushes over to help Matthew who has just fallen off the swing. Nora stops Troy and tells him to stay away from her son. Troy realizes that she is thinking he is Colin and convinces her he is Troy and only wants to help because Matthew is unconscious. Nora agrees to let Troy help. Matthew wakes up and tells them his shoulder hurts. Nora wants to call 911 but Troy insists it is a dislocated shoulder and needs Noras permission to treat Matthew. Troy relocates the shoulder and Nora is relieved when Matthew sits up and says it doesnt hurt anymore. Troy calls to the ER and sets up a Cat scan for Matthew because he had been unconscious for a short time.
At the ER Troy prepares Matthew for his tests. Troy questions Nora about Matthews medical history and whether he has complained of dizziness. He assures Nora that the questions are typical for this type of injury. Troy asks the nurse to set up additional tests and give the results directly to him. The nurse says that the tests he is requesting are not routine. Nora uses the payphone at the hospital and calls Sam. She leaves him a message to call her right away. Nora is pacing with worry waiting for Troy to finish examining Matthew. Melanie and Nora talk about how strange it is to have Troy here but there is nothing they can do about it. Nora thinks maybe there is. Troy finishes his exam of Matthew and tells Nora that her son is just fine. Nora goes in to see Matthew and he tells Nora that he wants Troy to be his regular doctor. Nora goes to look for Troy but Melanie tells her that he has left the hospital. A frantic Sam arrives and asked Nora if Troy hurt Matthew. She explains how Troy helped in the park and Matthew is doing well. Sam goes in to see Matthew and Nora finds a phone to call Troy. She thanks him for helping her son and that she has made a decision. She will not ask him to leave town.
Melanie and Jen
Melanie is working late at the hospital and decides to call Bo, who is also working late. He is not available so she leaves him a message that they should plan a wonderful weekend together. Jen comes by to see Melanie after visiting with Al. Jen tells Melanie that she is never going to speak to Lindsay again because of the terrible things her mother has done to try and break up Jen and Cris. Jen decides to go and meet Cris at the bank where he is putting his money for the weekend back in his account.
RJ and Lindsay
Lindsay shows up at RJs apartment and wants to know what he is going to do to Cris to help break up Jen and Cris. RJ tells Lindsay to have patience and asks her to leave.
Cris and Keith
Cris is on his way to the bank and takes the elevator to the garage. He is coming out of the elevator when Keith, wearing a ski mask, hits him over the head with a pipe. Keith tells Cris he has a message for him and kicks him in the ribs. Cris trips Keith and they start swapping punches. Cris knocks down Keith, who is still wearing the ski mask, and wants to know what kind of a message and who sent it. The garage elevator opens and Jen appears. She sees Cris and Keith fighting and calls to Cris. He turns toward Jen and Keith runs away. Cris tells Jen he thinks the attacker wanted his money, but he didnt get it.
Keith and RJ
Keith arrives back at RJs. He tells RJ that Jen showed up and saved Cris. When RJ saw the bruises on Keiths face he thinks Jen saved Keith. Keith insists he will get the job done and leaves. Outside, Keith loads a gun and threatens to kill Cris.
Chuckle of the day: RJ tells Lindsay Lindsay, patience is a virtue. Wait I used Lindsay and virtue in the same sentence.
