The Palace Hotel

Lindsay spills the beans to RJ regarding the work Cris is doing for the LPD. RJ thinks she is confusing Cris with Antonio, but Lindsay vows to convince him. Lindsay wants RJ to promise that he won’t do anything drastic to Cris. She doesn’t want RJ to hurt Cris, just keep him away from Jen. RJ tells her that he would take care of Cris – if he believed Lindsay. 

Lindsay tells RJ that she overheard Jen and Cris talking about his involvement with the LPD. She reminds RJ about the fake ID charges that were never filed against Cris and the remarkable coincidence of Bo finding Colin’s body in his warehouse. She goads RJ about his lack of judgment when it comes to Cris. Lindsay wonders if Cris has a grudge against RJ and he remembers taunting Cris about his accident. Lindsay doesn’t want any blood on her hands, but RJ warns her that if there is a problem, he will take care of it.

John tells Rae he has ‘amazing’ news for her – he’s been offered a job in San Francisco. He intends to take the job and will be away for at least a year. Rae tries to pretend she is not upset and offers to go with him. John refuses to allow her to join him – it wouldn’t be fair to her patients. Rae thinks she could find other therapists for her patients, but realizes that wouldn’t work for all of them. John makes her promise to visit. The two share a tearful goodbye.

Sam’s House

Sam stops Jen and Cris as they are about to leave on their romantic weekend. He wants to make sure they are committed to each other before they go away together. Sam doesn’t try to stop them and wishes them well. He apologizes for Lindsay’s actions and promises to keep her away. Jen tells him that Lindsay has already visited and tried to make amends. Sam reminds them that Lindsay will not give up.

Sam asks to have a word alone with Cris. Cris reminds Sam how much he loves Jen. Sam is more concerned that Jen never be hurt. Cris assures Sam he would never hurt Jen. Cris tells Sam about the special relationship his parents had and vows to try for a similar relationship with Jen. Sam knows Jen didn’t have a positive family experience while she was growing up, so he hopes the two of them can find happiness. Cris leaves to pack for the weekend.

As Sam is leaving, he runs into Lindsay. He informs her that he knows what she has done. Lindsay wants to get her things, but Sam refuses to let her in – he had her things moved. He slams the door in her face.

Cristian’s Loft

RJ uses his key to gain entrance to the loft. He finds phone records and checks them out. RJ calls one of the numbers and it’s to Bo’s office. Cris returns to the loft and discovers RJ inside.

St. Ann’s

Dave (Ben) is chatting with Allison. She confesses that she has a ‘connection’ with Viki. Allison tells Dave that she stole Jess when she was a baby. She says it was because a bad man put bad thoughts in her head, but she’s better now and Viki has forgiven her. Allison is looking forward to getting out – it’s all set. Dave pretends to be worried about what will happen to her once Allison gets out. He asks her if she has friends on the outside. Allison gets upset and denies that she has anyone. Dave asks her whom she is going to see when she gets out. Allison thanks Dave for being worried about her and thinks it’s sweet that he cares about her. Allison says she trusts him and asks him if he wants to know a secret…

Rae drops by to see Allison and the nun tells her that Allison is visiting with a new patient.

Buchanan Lodge

Gabrielle rails at Max for allowing Al to discover their rendezvous at the lodge. She is convinced that she has lost Al forever. Gabrielle wants Max to find Al and tell him something to make him feel better. Max blames the whole mess on Gabrielle for spending years filling Al with hatred for his father.

Max stops Gabrielle from charging out in search of Al. Max thinks he needs time and Gabrielle should wait for Al to come to her. Gabrielle is frantic worrying about Al wandering around in his current state of mind. She tells Max how close she is to Al since they were alone before returning to Llanview. When Gabrielle dissolves in tears, Max takes her in his arms and assures her that Al will not turn on her. Max is confident he can win Al back and he thinks everything will work out for Gabrielle too. She laments that this was not part of the plan. What plan? Max wonders.

Somewhere outside Llanview

Al is lying on the side of the road unconscious after crashing his motorcycle. Al comes to and reaches for his cell phone. He can’t quite reach it and passes out again. Jen discovers Al and rushes to help him.

Line of the Day

Allison: The bad man brainwashed me.

“Dave”: Brain. How do you wash a brain?
