One Life to Live recap for Wednesday, October 24, 2001

Antonio, Shawna, Keri

Antonio wants to pay Shawna for telling Jen she slept with Cris, but Shawna does not want money.  She wants Antonio.  He turns her down.  Keri is watching from a distance as she enters the Student Union where she was to meet Antonio for coffee. Vanessa walks in and sees Antonio with Shawna.  Vanessa wonders out loud when Antonio will ever learn.  Keri hears her and Vanessa says she is talking about Antonio.  Vanessa cares about Antonio but with women he is trouble.  Keri looks concerned, and starts to leave but Antonio spots her and tells her to wait.  Keri says she can’t stay because she has a class.  Antonio knows her schedule and that she has no class at this time.  He tells Keri his meeting with Shawna was professional NOT personal and Keri lets him know that is the way their relationship will stay.  Antonio can’t deal with Keri not believing him and Keri doesn’t want to hear what he can or can’t deal with.  They both go back to work..

Cris and Jen

Cris calls Jen from a payphone just to hear her voice.  When she answers the phone, he says nothing.  Jen guesses it is Cris and tells him she is not angry.  He says nothing. Jen keeps talking trying to get Cris to speak. He hangs up. She dials *69 but it does not work for payphones.

Viki, Bo and Natalie

Viki asks Bo to come by the house so she can tell him about Natalie.  When Bo arrives Viki tells him she needs his help because there is an intruder in the house.  Natalie walks in and says “Hi” to “Uncle Bo”.  Bo wants to know who she is.  Natalie refers to Viki as “mom” and Bo doesn’t understand. Viki explains that DNA testing was done and Natalie not Jessica is her biological daughter and that Allison returned the wrong baby to her all those years ago. When Viki tells Bo that Jessica is having a hard time with this information, Natalie explodes saying that Jess better get used to it because she is the real Buchanan.  Natalie wants Viki to put a formal announcement in the paper soon or she will go to Todd who will surely put it in his paper. Viki asks for Bo’s help in getting Natalie out of the house. She refuses to admit Natalie could be her daughter.  She can barely look at Natalie after the horrible things Natalie has done to Jessica.  Natalie overhears and tells Viki that it is her fault for not recognizing her own baby all those years ago.  Viki tells Bo that Allison Perkins is in on this with Natalie.  Bo places a call and gets a restraining order against Natalie to keep her away from Jess and Viki.

Blair, Paloma, Todd and David

Blair is consumed with grief when she is told her baby was cremated.  Paloma feels sorry for Blair and tells her she will take her to the baby.  Paloma takes Blair to where the baby was staying.  Blair can feel the baby’s presence and imagines she is holding her baby.  At the airport, David sees Todd holding a baby and assumes it is Todd and Blair’s baby.  Todd tells him he is babysitting.  David tries to get Todd in on his Real Estate scam.  Todd gives him money to make him go away.  Todd hands the baby to a woman sitting near them.  Blair calls Todd and tells him Paloma showed her where the baby was sleeping.  Todd yells at her to get out of there. The baby starts to cry and Blair wants to know if it is her baby that she hears. Todd tells her that her baby is dead and she should pack and go home.  David wants Todd to double the money he just gave him or David will return to Llanview and tell about seeing Todd with a baby. David leaves and Todd takes the baby back from the woman.  Two nuns are collecting for charity at the airport. Todd tells them he used to be a nun. David returns to say goodbye to Todd and sees Todd giving the nuns a large donation and then handing them the baby and walking away.

Seth, Carlotta, Jen, Antonio

Seth goes to the diner to see Cris and Carlotta tells him Cris is gone.  Jen comes into the diner and begs Carlotta to tell her where Cris is.  Carlotta refuses to tell and phones Antonio.  Antonio tells her not to reveal where Cris has gone. Antonio comes to the diner. He speaks quickly to the undercover cop that is watching Jen.  Jen tells Antonio that Cris called her but said nothing.  Antonio tells her Cris is not coming back and she should go home.
