Bo/Melanie/Troy/Lindsay:  The Truth be Told!!!

At Bo’s garret apartment, Troy tells Bo over the phone there are no signs of leukemia in the blood sample Bo brought him to test.  Troy also tells Bo that he knows it is not Bo’s blood, but whomever the blood belongs to is very healthy.

Bo hangs up the phone with a changed mood.  Melanie and Bo were getting ready to wed when the phone call came in.  Bo asks Melanie if there is anything he should know about her illness.  Melanie claims there is nothing and she is trying not to think about it today, her wedding day.  Bo continues to give Melanie chances to confess, she doesn’t.  Melanie soon realizes Bo knows something isn’t quite right.  Bo angrily insists Melanie tell him the truth.  Bo admits to Melanie he has been blinded by love where she in concerned.  He usually can pick up on deceit much quicker.  When will she tell him she is not sick?  Bo is so upset that he doesn’t know Melanie at all.  Melanie just can’t admit to Bo she faked the whole thing.

Lindsay arrives for the wedding.  Bo angrily insists she leave.  Lindsay does leave immediately. 

Bo then admits he had a doctor analyze her blood sample.  Melanie knows a doctor will not test blood given to him or her from someone else.  Bo admitted he lied to the doctor and said the blood sample was his own.  Bo went on to explain that his profound love for Melanie and his wanting to help her through her illness prompted him to have the test done.  Bo tells Melanie the blood is negative for leukemia.

Melanie still continues to lie suggesting she is probably in remission.  Bo still wants to hear the truth from her.  Melanie finally admits she is not sick.  Bo then tells her the wedding is called off. 

Melanie tries to deflect the blame to Bo for lying to her when he said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.  Why did he want to marry her only when he thought she was sick, but not now that she is healthy?  Melanie desperately tries to get Bo to reconsider by telling him she was wrong and telling him all the great things their life together will hold.

Hank/Rae/Keri:  To Tell the Truth???

In his office, Hank prepares to be best man at Bo’s wedding.  He is seen looking through a payment ledger with all the entries are for an Elizabeth Reynolds. 

Rae comes in looking for Bo.  Hank tells Rae of Bo and Melanie’s wedding.  Hank also tells Rae about a father that has abandoned a child.  Should someone tell a child who his/her real father is under those circumstances?  Rae, drawing on her experience with Skye asks Hank to consider which hurts more, the truth or withholding the truth?  Rae leaves.

Hank gets a call letting him know Bo and Melanie’s wedding has been called off.  Keri arrives wanting to talk.  Hank tries to put her off, but Keri insists Hank tell her the truth.

R.J./Cristian:  Baiting the Hook!!!

At R.J.’s apartment, Cristian confronts R.J. with a proposition.  Cristian wants Carlotta protected from harm.  Cristian wants R.J. to stay away from the diner and anyone in his family.  Cristian tells R.J. he is leaving Llanview for New York City.  R.J. asks Cristian about Jen.  Cristian continues the story that he no longer is in love with Jen.  Cristian tries to convince a skeptical R.J. that his relationship with Jen is/was unimportant.  As Cristian is leaving he threatens R.J. if Carlotta is hurt in any way. 

Jen/Antonio/Carlotta/Keri/Keith/Lindsay:  Protective Deception!!!

At Carlotta’s diner, Jen searches her soul for reasons why Cristian broke up with her.  Antonio tries to comfort her the best he can, knowing it is all a lie.  Jen is determined to find out what is going on.  Antonio stops her by saying Cristian is seeing someone else.  Jen does not believe Antonio at all.  Antonio makes up a story about how Cristian and this other woman met at the diner.  Jen can’t believe Cristian is that kind of person.  The entire time Antonio and Jen are talking, Keith is watching from outside of the diner.

Keri comes to Jen’s rescue after overhearing Antonio telling Jen about the other woman in Cristian’s life.  Keri gives Jen a shoulder to cry on and an objective ear.  Keri and Jen talk together at the diner.  Keri, being a stranger, can be more objective listening to Jen’s problems as Keri is also thinking about her own problems with finding her father.

As Keri and Jen talk at a table, Carlotta and Antonio are torn apart by Cristian’s leaving and Jen’s devastation.  Antonio thanks Keri for helping Jen and Keri pretty much tells Antonio off for being so cruel to Jen.  Cristian calls Antonio on a cell phone and says he is ready to go.  Antonio assures Cristian he is doing the right thing.  Antonio leaves to meet Cristian at the park.

Jen tells Keri she will not give up on Cristian.  Keri leaves soon afterward because she is also not giving up on what she wants; Hank to admit he is her father.

Lindsay arrives at the diner.  Did Jen and Cristian break up?  When Lindsay finds out it is true, Lindsay hugs her daughter and tries to comfort her as well.  Although Carlotta has told Lindsay never to return to the diner after the hottie.com fiasco, Lindsay could not stay away when she saw Jen crying from outside of the diner.

Antonio/Cristian:  Luring in the Fish!!!

At the park, Antonio and Cristian meet to say goodbye.  Cristian and Antonio hope Keith follows him to New York City after R.J. most likely will tell him where Cristian has gone.  However, they keep wondering, how did R.J. find out Cristian was working undercover for the police?

R.J./Keith:  Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off!!!

Keith arrives at R.J. apartment.  R.J. tells Keith that Cristian is leaving for New York City and he is not taking Jen.  Keith seems very interested in the fact that Jen is staying in Llanview.  Keith then reassures R.J. that the hit out on Cristian is all over since Cristian has left town.  Keith leaves R.J.’s apartment, but in the hallway, he pulls out a picture of Jen from his jacket pocket and tells himself aloud he’s glad Jen is now alone. 

Sam/Nora/Matthew/Troy

In the park, Nora tells Sam she doesn’t want him at the hospital while Matthew is getting his additional blood tests done because he cannot control his temper around Troy.  Sam admits to Nora, if nothing else, Troy is a great doctor.  Sam came to this conclusion after seeing how Troy helped Blair and Todd through the birth of Blair’s baby over the telephone.  Nora then says Sam is welcome to accompany them to the hospital for the tests. 

Sam and Nora then take Matthew to the hospital to get the blood tests done. Troy assures Nora he will personally oversee Matthew’s case.  It seems Troy has a real soft spot for children.

Troy later finds Nora and Sam to tell them the results of the tests.

Comic Relief of the Day:

Sorry, folks.  This episode was serious in every scene.  I couldn’t find anything funny.  Hopefully, next time I will be able to give some comic relief.
