One Life to Live Recap for Friday, November 30, 2001

Nora’s House

Keri is stunned by RJ’s revelation that he is her father. Keri doesn’t believe it – she is sure RJ is trying to cover for Hank. RJ says he loved Keri’s mother but he didn’t know they had a child together. Keri doesn’t believe Hank would send child support if he weren’t her father. RJ maintains that Hank would do it because he was trying to be noble.

Keri wonders why RJ didn’t know who she was when she told him her name. RJ reminds her that he only knew her mother by her maiden name. He tells Keri to call her mother and confirm what he is saying. Keri knows her mother won’t tell her the truth.

Hank shows up and explains everything to Keri. Her mother didn’t want Keri to know her father was a criminal. RJ is furious that Hank tried to play hero with his daughter. Hank says he was only following the wishes of Keri’s mother. RJ is angry that he never got a chance to be a father because of Hank’s actions. Keri tells them to stop arguing! She tells them both to leave. Hank apologizes and leaves. RJ tells Keri that they will work it out and get to know each other. Keri tells him to go.

RJ confronts Hank again and promises Hank will pay for what he has done.

Llanfair

Viki talks to Clint on the phone and thanks him for meeting with Jessica. She asks him to reassure Jessica that they both love her very much. Natalie is listening to her conversation. When Viki hangs up, Natalie wants to know if Clint asked about her. Viki says he needs time to process everything that has happened. Viki says she wants to talk to Natalie and get to know her. As they are talking, Allison bursts in with her lawyer, wanting to talk about Natalie’s inheritance.

Ben tries to throw them out but Allison refuses to budge. She is demanding that all of Jessica’s assets be turned over to Natalie. Ben is sure that Allison is trying to get her hands on the money. Allison maintains that she wouldn’t be averse to Natalie offering her some ‘compensation’ for reuniting her with her real family. Viki says she will make sure Natalie gets what she is entitled to – in due time. Allison wants the money now.

Allison threatens to have Natalie sue Viki if she doesn’t sign the papers immediately. Viki asks Natalie what she wants. Allison eggs Natalie on, urging her to stick it to Viki. Natalie remembers her earlier discussion with Viki and she tells the lawyer to go – she can wait for the money. I can’t! Allison screams.

Natalie dismisses the lawyer and Ben throws Allison out. Viki tells Natalie she is proud of her for standing up to Allison. She promises Natalie will get whatever is rightfully hers – because Viki wants her to have it. Viki thinks there may be hope for Natalie.

Outside, Allison is angry that Natalie is falling into Viki’s trap. She vows to go after Viki herself.

Dorian’s Mansion

Bo tells Blair that Asa’s medication was laced with a drug and that he found a receipt for the poison signed by Blair. Blair doesn’t know what he is talking about. He shows her the receipt with her signature. Blair has no explanation – except it is a forgery. Bo is angry and warns Blair that if the poison shows up in Asa’s blood sample, she is in serious trouble.

Blair swears she didn’t sign the receipt. Why would she hurt Asa? Blair asks. Bo points out that Blair left him for dead at one time. Blair says that she wasn’t even in town when Asa died – she was in Mexico giving birth. Bo asks her to check her calendar to see where she was on the day the poison was purchased. Blair says she was meeting with Renee at the Palace – and then she came home and had an argument with Todd. She remembers Todd asking her to sign Starr’s school papers. Bo is suspicious that Todd made Blair sign something.

Blair remembers Todd’s insistence that she sign the papers without even looking at them. She knows Todd set her up because he thought she was having Max’s baby. Bo tries to make sense of the whole convoluted story. Blair doesn’t understand why Todd would set her up for Asa’s murder. Bo doesn’t think Todd would have any reason to want Asa dead but he does remember seeing Gabrielle and Todd talking.

Bo wants to know where Todd has gone. Blair doesn’t know. She explains that they had gotten back together, but Todd left after their wedding fell apart. Bo tells her not to leave town – he hasn’t come to any conclusions about Asa’s death. Blair thinks it is obvious that Todd set her up.

Bo gets the results of the tests on Asa’s medication. He isn’t surprised by the results.

Airplane

Todd panics when the flight attendant offers to help with the baby. He is determined that no one will take him away again. Todd is haunted by the ‘ghost boy’ asking him how he is going to explain the fact that he told Blair the baby was dead. Todd thinks Blair will be so happy to have the baby back that she won’t even ask what happened.

Todd calls Blair to talk to her about the baby but she refuses to pick up the phone. He tells her he is on his way home and she will regret it if she isn’t there when he gets there.

Asa’s Mansion

Alex is sneaking around the mansion looking for clues in Asa’s death when Gabrielle catches her. Alex intends to take Asa’s ashes, but Gabrielle has no intention of giving them to her. Alex points out that the ‘grieving’ Gabrielle has been sleeping with Max. She accuses Gabrielle of killing Asa.

Gabrielle doesn’t believe Bo suspects her. Alex reminds her that she has a ‘past’ with Bo and that she used to be a federal agent. Alex tells Gabrielle that she discovered a clue at Asa’s lodge. When Alex tries to leave with Asa’s ashes, the women fight over the urn and nearly dump the ashes all over the floor.

Alex threatens to go to the papers with what she knows about Gabrielle. Alex knows Bo won’t rest until he figures out what happened to his father. She leaves with the ashes.

Gabrielle frantically calls Max – she is interrupted by Bo. She tells him that Alex stole Asa’s ashes. Bo is more interested in telling Gabrielle that he has proof that Asa was poisoned and Gabrielle is his number one suspect.

Airport

Alex makes plans to leave town with Asa’s ashes.

Line of the Day

Alex (to Asa’s ashes): Don’t worry darling, I’m going to take you away from her. Sorry I was too late to keep her from killing you.
