One Life to Live Recap for Wednesday, November 28, 2001

Llanview University

RJ confronts Hank about Keri. Hank maintains that he is NOT Keri’s father. Then who is? RJ demands. Hank tells him that Keri’s mother wants to keep that information private and RJ should respect that.

RJ threatens to find out who Keri’s father is on his own, but Hank warns him to back off. RJ thinks Hank should let the irresponsible man who is Keri’s father pay for his own mistakes. Hank says it was the right thing to do – Keri is family. As RJ is confronting Hank, it occurs to him that HE is Keri’s father. He knew Keri’s mother when he lived in Chicago. RJ is stunned by the revelation.

RJ doesn’t believe that he is Keri’s father. Why else would I pay for Keri all these years? Hank asks. Keri’s mother turned to Hank because she didn’t want RJ involved in Keri’s life. RJ was in prison when Keri was born. RJ is incensed that Hank kept this a secret for all these years. Hank maintains that he was doing what was in Keri’s best interest. RJ doesn’t buy it and he storms out.

Hank calls Keri’s mother to alert her that RJ is going to find her and he wants answers about Keri’s parentage.

Nora’s House

Sam and Keri are looking for Nora but she left a note that she has ‘an appointment’ and will be home later. Keri listens to Hank’s message on the machine, but she doesn’t want to talk to him. Sam wonders why Keri dislikes Hank. Sam defends Hank, even though they are not friends – he knows Hank is a great father to Rachel.

Keri tries to explain her animosity toward Hank. Sam thinks she should give Hank a break – and be very careful around RJ. Sam tells Keri about all the illegal activities that RJ has been involved in while he has lived in Llanview.

Sam leaves. RJ arrives at the house and Keri lets him in.

Troy’s Loft

Nora is remembering her fights with Lindsay in Colin’s house when Lindsay knocks on the door. Lindsay thinks they had a meeting about the fundraiser for his clinic, but he reminds her that it isn’t until tomorrow. Lindsay wants to have the meeting anyway. Inside the loft, Nora is remembering an encounter with Lindsay. When she wonders aloud what Lindsay was up to, Lindsay hears her voice and confronts Troy.

Lindsay accuses him of being just like Colin. Nora is regaining more of her memories as she hears Lindsay’s voice. Troy pushes Lindsay out in the hall and closes the door. He arranges to meet her later at her gallery and gets rid of Lindsay. He goes back in to check on Nora. She has remembered more about her encounter with Lindsay and she also remembers being in the hospital with Matthew after his birth.

Troy is ecstatic that Nora remembers confronting Lindsay and seeing her with the needle at Colin’s house. But Nora doesn’t remember Lindsay giving her the drug, so she can’t accuse Lindsay. Troy says they will keep trying until she does remember. Nora is content that she remembers Matthew’s birth and isn’t interested in vengeance against Lindsay. She just wants to go home. Nora kisses Troy on the cheek to thank him.

When Nora leaves, Troy calls Lindsay and asks her out to dinner. He is determined to help Nora remember what Lindsay did.

NYC: Cristian’s Apartment

Cris daydreams that Jen has found out why he has been lying to her. Antonio interrupts with news on the case. He has a list of places where Keith has been spotted. Cris is happy Jen has gone back to Llanview where she is safe – but he hates hurting her.

Antonio reminds Cris he is not the first guy to get his heart broken. Antonio thinks Cris will find someone new one day. He fantasizes about meeting Keri in the park. Cris wants to know who has captured his brother’s attention. Antonio tells his brother about Keri. Cris is surprised that his brother is dating his professor.

NYC: Restaurant

Jen is having dinner with Al and she imagines that Cris is the waiter. Jen is uncomfortable and Al tries to figure out what is bothering her. Jen wants to talk about the night they made love. Al thinks they were two friends just helping each other feel better. He vows to stick by her no matter what. Jen isn’t ready for another relationship after what happened with Cris. Al reassures her that he understands and won’t pressure her, but he thinks she needs to get over Cris.

NYC: Park

When Jess and Seth are questioned by a cop, Jess lies to cover for Cris until she finds out what is happening. Seth confronts her when the cop leaves. Jess wants to know why he is in NYC. Seth admits he followed her. Jess tells him to get lost – she came to NY to meet her father and to get some space.

Seth admits he was afraid Jess wouldn’t come back so he came to find her. While Jess and Seth are arguing, Keith is listening. Jess needs to find Cris to warn him about Keith. Seth volunteers to help. Jess thinks they should find Jen – she will lead them to Cris. Jess remembers the name of the agency where Jen is modeling. She goes to meet with her dad and Seth heads off to visit the modeling agency. Keith calls information to get the address of the agency.

Line of the Day

Lindsay (greeting Troy): Well, at least you remembered your shirt this time.
