One Life to Live Recap for Tuesday, November 27, 2001

Todd/Baby/Buck/Missy:  The Buck Stops Here!!

Todd tries to take Baby “Jeter” out of Buck’s mansion.  Buck insists he put the baby back in the crib.  Todd tries to convince Buck that “Jeter” is not his son, but is Todd’s baby boy.  A female arrives and Todd insists she admit she did not give birth to the baby.  It turns out that the female is Buck’s sister, Missy.  Missy tells Todd that Buck’s wife left Buck then came back 6 months later with the baby saying she was pregnant when she left.  Todd says he can prove with a DNA test his paternity.  Todd tries to explain to Buck that his wife bought the baby from David Vickers.  The police arrive and arrest Todd for attempting to steal the baby.  Todd assures Buck he will get a lawyer to force a DNA test.

Keith/Jessica/Seth:  Here I am to Save the Day!!

In New York City, just around the corner from the coffee shop, Keith ruffs up Jessica looking for Cristian.  Seth arrives and punches Keith.  Jessica and Seth share an embrace. They leave to call for help, but when they return they find Keith gone.  Jessica is concerned Keith is now after Cristian.  The police arrive to take the report, but Jessica and Seth are in a hurry to find Cristian.

Hank/Rae/Keri/R.J.:  The Truth be Told??

At the Palace Hotel Lounge, Hank and Rae discuss telling Keri that R.J. is really her father.  Hank calls Keri to set up a meeting but Keri doesn’t want to see him.  Hank is still going to go to her office to meet with her.  Keri decides to leave. 

R.J. arrives at Keri’s office at the university.  R.J. quizzes her about why Hank doesn’t want R.J. and Keri around each other.  Keri tells R.J. he is her uncle.  R.J. is understandably surprised.  Keri shows R.J. copies of child support checks sent to her mom every month.  Hank still denies Keri is his daughter.  R.J. finds this news very interesting since Hank has always looked down on R.J. all of these years.  R.J. now thinks he knows why Keri looks so familiar.  R.J. continues to put the puzzle pieces together, such as Rachel and Keri being half-sisters.  R.J. offers his help in making up for what Hank has done.  R.J.. wants to get to know Keri better.  Keri refuses, since R.J. would remind her of Hank.  Keri leaves before Hank can get there.

Hank arrives to find R.J.  R.J. reveals he knows Keri is Hank’s daughter.  R.J. wants to know why Hank won’t admit to being Keri’s father.  Hank reveals he is not the father.  Who is the father if Hank is not?

Blair/Starr:  Starr Runs the Show!!

Blair tries to get Starr to leave town.  Starr refuses to leave.  Blair tries to convince Starr that they have to leave is they do not want Todd to take Starr away forever.  Starr doesn’t want to be away from either one of her parents.  Finally, Starr decides to go with Blair, but she has a very mischievous look on her face.  Starr tells Blair she wants to take her rabbit fur muff.  When Blair looks for it in the closet, Starr closes and locks the closet door.

Nora/Troy:  Thanks for the Memories!!

In Troy’s apartment, Nora and Troy prepare for Nora’s treatment to regain her memory.  Sam and Nora speak by phone before the treatment begins.  Nora lies and tells Sam her and Keri and going shopping together.  After the phone call, Nora tries to leave because she does not like having to lie about what she is doing.  Troy and Nora discuss the incident at the Palace when Lindsay confronted Nora in the restroom.  Doesn’t Nora want Lindsay to pay for what she has done to her?  Troy continues to persuade Nora into taking the treatment.  Doesn’t Nora want to remember all of her life experiences?

Troy tells Nora he really wants a chance to undo what Colin did to Nora.  Nora tells Troy it is not his responsibility.  Nora is very confused about whether to take the treatment or not.  Troy then pours the medication into Nora’s hand and Nora finally swallows the tablet.  Troy sits her down and has her relax.  Nora has flashbacks of memories she lost of Lindsay threatening her at Colin’s house.  Nora then remembers Lindsay holding the syringe.

Sam/Lindsay/Keri: 

Sam is shopping for engagement rings at the jewelry store.  Lindsay arrives and tells Sam about her trip to New York to see Jen.  Lindsay quizzes Sam about the engagement rings he is looking at.  They discuss Nora’s memory loss and the incident at the Palace restroom.  Lindsay, not getting a straight answer, continues to quiz Sam about marrying Nora.  Lindsay tries to tell Sam that Nora can never be faithful to one man.  Lindsay then plants a seed in Sam’s head about an attraction between Nora and Sam.  Lindsay leaves and knocks on Troy’s door during Nora’s treatment.

Keri runs into Sam at the store.  Sam finds out Nora and Keri were not supposed to go shopping together.

Comic Relief:

Discussing the paternity of “Jeter” this really funny exchange took place.

Buck:  “Look, he’s the spittin’ image of me.  Missy, you saw the likeness, you told me.”

Missy:  “I was just bein’ nice.  Babies look like Lyndon Johnson.”

Todd:  “Look, this baby, this is my baby.  Belongs to me, and this other woman named Blair, who, who looks a little like LBJ.”
