Asa’s Mansion

Bo asks Max and Gabrielle if they were having an affair – Max says no, Gabrielle says yes! Bo accuses them of not having time to get their stories straight. Max says it wasn’t an affair, it was an indiscretion. Both claim it only happened once. Bo keeps peppering them with questions and Gabrielle finally tells him the ‘truth.’

Max urges Gabrielle to keep quiet. Gabrielle says she told Asa about her tryst with Max and swore that it would never happen again. She thinks she may have killed Asa by hurting him with her confession. Gabrielle claims Asa forgave her, but insists she broke his heart. Bo doesn’t believe it for a minute – Asa has had plenty of wives and dealt with plenty of infidelity.

Bo asks to hear Max’s version of events. Max says Asa was old and simply had a heart attack – end of story. Bo accuses Gabrielle and Max of hurting Asa, but Max points out that Bo has hurt his father plenty too. Bo sends them both down to the station for questioning.

Hank tries to rationalize why he can’t tell Keri that RJ is her father. Nora thinks Keri deserves to know the truth. Hank thinks RJ will blow his stack when he finds out that he fathered Keri and Hank has been covering it up all this time. Hank is more concerned about how Keri will feel. RJ can be very charismatic and Hank is worried Keri will be sucked in by him and hurt when RJ finally falls on the wrong side of the law.

Todd tells Blair that they make a good team with Starr. Blair agrees. Todd goes upstairs while Blair answers the door – it’s a letter from David. The message is ‘The bundle has been delivered’ – and it’s addressed to Todd. Blair wants to know what Todd and David are up to. Todd claims it is about an investment he made. Blair warns Todd to be careful when it comes to investing with David.

Blair tells Todd how grateful she is that he came to Mexico and helped her. Todd asks her to close her eyes; he has a surprise. Blair is wary. When she opens her eyes, Todd shows her the new portrait on the stairs – and Blair is in it. When Blair notices she is wearing a wedding ring in the picture, she asks if Todd wants to marry her.

She kisses him back and they end up making love.

RJ offers to buy Keri a drink, but she turns him down. He thinks she looks familiar and reminds him of someone. RJ asks if she is a musician. Keri has no patience dealing with what she considers RJ’s lame attempts at pickup lines. Chad asks to speak to RJ and he leaves.

Rae joins Keri and observes that Keri has met RJ Gannon. Keri wonders if he is related to Hank. Rae tells her that Hank and RJ are brothers. Rae is stunned when Keri says she doesn’t think Hank is a decent man. Keri has written Hank off, but Rae urges her to reconsider.

RJ gives Chad his job back. Chad tells RJ that Keri is a teacher at the University. RJ asks him to get information on Keri.

Keri wants to talk to Rae about Antonio. She asks Rae to help Antonio with his paper, but Rae is too busy. Keri confesses that her personal feelings are clouding her judgment when it comes to Antonio. Rae is concerned that Keri has feelings for Antonio. She does, Keri says – she thinks he’s a jerk and can’t wait to get away from him.

Llanview PD

Antonio gets Keri’s message telling him she is glad he isn’t rewriting his paper because he is too much trouble. He is relieved to be rid of her. Antonio sends Asa’s heart medication to the lab for testing.

Gabrielle and Max are sent to separate rooms to await interrogation for Asa’s death. Gabrielle sneaks in to see Max so they can corroborate their stories.

Nora’s House

Antonio stops by to speak with Hank – the report on Asa’s medicine is due soon. Hank tells him that he hasn’t told Nora about Asa – he’s sure Bo will want to do that himself. Hank leaves for the station to get the test results.

Nora tells Antonio she knows the perfect woman for him. Would he be willing to go out with her? Antonio is leery, but he agrees. Nora convinces Keri to go out with her ‘friend’ – tonight. Keri is nervous, but she agrees.

Line of the Day

Keri (about Antonio): I can’t stand him, he’s the most arrogant, pigheaded, egotistical fool I’ve ever met in my life.
