Gina’s House – Outside Viki’s Room

Ben demands that Gina let him in to see Viki. When he enters, the room is empty. Where is Viki? Ben wants to know. Gina is as perplexed by Viki’s absence as Ben is. Gina confesses to having kept Viki in the room since she left “on her speaking tour.” Gina tells Ben that Viki has been gone from the room for a long time.

Gina explains to Ben how Viki changed into a different person – Niki Smith and Tommy and Jean Randolph. Ben is astounded. Gina tells Ben the alters won’t let Viki come back. Ben accuses Gina of lying about the alters. Gina tells Ben that she went to Jessica to ask about Viki’s DID. She was trying to figure out if Viki was faking. No way, Ben says. Gina tells Ben that Viki has cracked and lost her mind. Ben still doesn’t believe Gina. Maybe you should just see for yourself, Gina challenges.

Ben just wants to see Viki. I don’t have her, Gina says. She apologizes to Ben and says all she wanted was him and shows Ben a tape of “Niki” and “Tommy” and “Jean.” Ben is stunned by what he sees.

Bo’s Garrett

Lanie has left Bo a letter explaining why she returned his ring and moved out of the apartment. He throws the letter in the trash and turns to see Nora standing in the doorway. Nora teases Bo about leaving his door open. I have a lot on my mind, Bo says. He doesn’t feel much like company and even though Nora is trying to help, he’s not in the mood. I didn’t come to help you, I came so you could help me, Nora says.

Nora tells Bo the story of breaking into RJ’s apartment. Are you nuts? Bo asks. Nora sidesteps the question and tells Bo about Colin’s fingerprints on the money she found at RJ’s house. How did you find that out? Bo wonders. Nora haltingly confesses that one of Bo’s lab techs owed her a favor. Bo is exasperated with her. Nora insists the lab tech didn’t know where the money came from. Did RJ know she took the money? Bo demands. No, I put it back, Nora says, digging herself in deeper. So you broke in twice? Bo questions. Nora insists he is missing the bigger picture – RJ and Lindsay have an arrangement.

Did RJ confess to working with Lindsay? Bo asks. Well, no but he certainly acted suspicious, Nora replies. Bo maintains he can’t use the info because of the way it was obtained. Maybe you should question Lindsay and try to trip her up, Nora advises. Bo thinks he can use the info without tipping RJ and Lindsay off, but he is still not amused about Nora’s little expedition and admonishes her to back off from RJ. Nora is sure RJ would never hurt her. No one is safe when RJ is backed into a corner, Bo warns.

The Gallery

Lindsay is leaving a message for Hank letting him know she has convinced the authorities in North Carolina to press charges against Lanie and she wants Hank to do the same thing. Cris enters and says if anyone should be under arrest, it’s Lindsay. Lindsay asks him to leave. Cris has something to say before he goes anywhere. Lindsay is in no mood to deal with him after what her sister has done. Cris says Jen told him all about it. Lindsay wants to know what Jen told him. Cris declines to tell her and points out that Jen is not a child and that Lindsay has been encouraging her to lie – which is upsetting Jen. I’m her mother and I will protect her from bad influences, Lindsay says. Too late, Cris says. The worst possible person – her own mother, has already influenced Jen, Cris sneers.

Lindsay reiterates that Lanie confessed, but Cris is unconvinced. Sometimes what people believe and the truth is not the same thing, Cris says. Anything can be made up, Lindsay counters. Cris doesn’t believe Lanie would kill Colin and crate his body up to move it away. Lindsay congratulates Cris for his detective skills but doesn’t back off her stance that Lanie is guilty. Cris says if it was his family, he would be looking for any reasonable doubt. Why isn’t Lindsay willing to entertain the idea that Lanie may not be guilty? Cris wonders.

Even if she didn’t kill Colin, she killed my father, Lindsay spits. Cris tells Lindsay that he thinks she is trying to shut Jen up because Jen knows who the real killer is. Lindsay threatens to call the police if Cris doesn’t leave. Cris calls her bluff. Jen knows something, Cris says. Lindsay says Jen would go to the police if she knew who the killer was. Not if she was protecting the killer, Cris maintains.

What are you suggesting? Lindsay asks. Cris isn’t suggesting anything – he knows Lindsay killed Colin. Lindsay is stunned. Why don’t we go to the station so you can confess? Cris suggests. Bo enters and offers to save them the trip. What are we confessing? Bo inquires. Lindsay tells Bo she has nothing to confess, but wants Cris arrested for trespassing. In a public gallery? Bo muses. Cris insists Lindsay should be in jail for covering up Colin’s murder. Can you prove it? Lindsay challenges. When Cris admits he can’t, Bo tells him it’s OK, because he can…

RJ’s House

Sam confronts RJ about the night of Colin’s murder. If anyone knows the truth, it’s Sam, says RJ. Sam says RJ had the body, so that makes him look guilty. A lot of interesting things happened at Colin’s house, RJ retorts. He muses about how Bo will feel when he puts it all together. Sam wants to know if RJ is threatening him and says it’s an empty threat. Where were the members of your family that night? RJ wonders. Sam warns RJ to leave his family out of it. Too late, RJ says – Sam’s brood is in this mystery up to their necks.

Maybe Bo will buy Sam’s “innocent family” act, but RJ knows better. RJ claims to know things about what happened that night. When Sam presses him to reveal his information, RJ says he will have to keep that to himself – it will make a great surprise on the witness stand. Sam is dubious. He thinks RJ is bluffing. Then why are you so scared? RJ asks. Sam tells him that he knows bad men from his days in Vegas, but RJ is unfazed. Sam calls his bluff and warns RJ to stay out of it and leave his family alone. Or what? RJ challenges. Would Sam kill him? Knowing what he knows about Sam’s family, RJ doesn’t doubt that he would. Sam glares at RJ and walks out.

Sam’s House

Jen demands the truth from Lanie about her grandfather’s death. Didn’t Lindsay explain? Lanie wonders. Jen wants to hear Lanie’s version of the story. Lanie is stunned to learn that Lindsay told Jen she deliberately killed her father after he changed his will to leave all his money to Lanie. Lanie denies Lindsay’s claim. Why did you confess? Jen wonders.

Lanie defends herself to Jen by explaining that she did not know her father had changed his will. She claims to have loved her father very much and did what she thought was best. Why did you tell Bo you were a murderer? Jen counters. It was still murder, Lanie maintains. My father wanted me to help him and I needed to give him peace, Lanie says. Jen believes Lanie’s story and wants to know why Lindsay would lie to her. Lanie can’t explain Lindsay’s motives.

Lanie says she will face her punishment for killing her father – and Colin. Jen assures Lanie that she knows she didn’t kill Colin. She is about to tell Lanie the truth when Sam interrupts them. Lanie is paged and leaves for the hospital. Sam notices Jen’s discomfort and asks her what is wrong. Jen lashes out at Sam for pretending that nothing is wrong. When Sam asks why she is upset, Jen says he knows better than anyone what is bothering her…

The Courtroom

Roseanne wants to know what Antonio is going to do about her spying for RJ. Antonio is furious and calls her a traitor. Roseanne apologizes and tries to justify her actions. Don’t even try it, Antonio sneers. I’ll do whatever you ask, Roseanne says. Antonio hands her a note pad and demands that she write a letter of resignation to Bo. I’ll quit, Roseanne promises. Antonio doesn’t trust her and wants it in writing. When Roseanne tries to tell him she had no choice, Antonio cuts her off. She had a choice, and she chose RJ, Antonio spits.

I didn’t choose RJ, Roseanne counters. Antonio demands to know why she would help RJ. You wouldn’t have betrayed us if you respected yourself, Antonio maintains. Where would I have learned respect? Roseanne asks. You betrayed me more than RJ or Colin – by sleeping with me but not loving me, Roseanne says. We had an understanding, Antonio responds. It wasn’t enough for me, Roseanne confesses. Antonio says he did care for Roseanne, but she knows he always held something back. Antonio can’t believe that Roseanne thinks what she did is his fault. I deserved better, Roseanne says and tells Antonio to turn her in if he wants, she doesn’t care. Antonio refuses to turn her in. Why? Roseanne wants to know. Antonio doesn’t have an answer and turns to walk away. Roseanne offers to help Antonio take down RJ, but Antonio says he will deal with RJ when he returns from New York. What about us? Roseanne asks. Antonio coldly tells her to put her resignation on Bo’s desk and he leaves. Roseanne dissolves in tears.

Line of the Day
