PALACE DINNER
Jessica told Will that she wanted to see her mom but Ben wanted 'alone time' with Viki. Renee told Will she was sorry to hear about his dad, and realized that Will hadn't heard. He then stood up to go and be with Sam, and suggested that Jess go and spend some time with her mom.

STATION HOUSE

As Nora listened at the door, Lindsay told Sam they both knew that he was protecting someone by taking the blame for Colin's murder.  Outside the office, Asa tried to mend fences with Bo and even suggested that they have a 'double wedding reception' since he hadn't had one yet. Bo told Asa that his and Lanie's engagement was 'off'. 

LLANFAIR

Ben got the word that Sam was in trouble and headed for the station. He insisted that Viki wait at Llanfair for him and rest but Gabrielle turned up at her door! She told Viki to say hello to her new mother-in-law but she could call her 'mom' if she wished!

ELECTRIFYING!

As Max reached over to adjust a bar light he was electrocuted and lay unconscious on the floor! Al ran over to him and called out 'Dad!'. When Max opened his eyes, he told Al he was fine, because his son had just called him 'dad'. Seeing Max' exuberance, Al told him that he had been given numerous chances to be a decent father and had blown them all! He was not his son anymore and he felt sorry for Max' new baby! It's mother was crazy and it's father would ignore him!

HAPPY HOTEL

Blair asked Todd if he had done all that damage to her on the stand just to help her and he admitted he had. All the slander had been for her benefit, he had to make Hank and everyone else believe he really hated her so his testimony would carry weight! Blair hadn't been the one to figure his strategy out, her mother Addie, did! She was happier than words could say about his heroism, but he wasn't thrilled she was having Max' baby. She offered to change his mind about 'that' score!

STATION HOUSE

Asa told Bo he ought to give Sam a medal for killing Colin! He suggested that Bo forgive and forget, concerning Lanie. She explained that she had kept things hidden from Bo and the issues weren't all that simple. Ben arrived wishing to see his brother. Nora accused Sam of covering up for Lindsay and Sam told Lindsay to come clean! He admitted that Nora was right, he was doing it for Lindsay and Lanie because he didn't want to see another innocent victim suffer!

THE SILLY FARM

Before Blair told Todd her big secret he asked why Starr had locked Max in the wine cellar! She knew it was so that he could be the big hero and she was right! Todd felt that Max might pull a fast one and leave her high and dry. She was about to give him another chance to be a 'hero' when Kelly entered the room carrying an official looking envelope from the courts! She read aloud from them, and Blair realized that Todd had regained full custody of their daughter with the court deeming her an 'unfit mother' due to her incarceration! 

ELECTRIFYING

Al explained that his mother had taught him to always take care of people, no matter 'who' they were! Asa had kept his promise to him and his mother, adopting him and giving them a home. He didn't feel they could be any worse off than they had already been in the past!


LLANFAIR

Gabrielle had returned to Llanview by marrying Asa and he had adopted her son Al. Viki stated that Gabrielle had tried to kill her daughter Megan and would never be considered a part of her family!

STATION HOUSE

Bo broke up a heated debate between Nora and Lindsay outside of his office! The forensics report on the fireplace poker was back from the lab. The results showed that the blood on the poker was Colin MacIver's and the fingerprints were Sam's!

Sam was officially arrested for the murder of Colin. Bo asked Asa to go home, and Ben asked his brother what really happened! 

LLANFAIR

Gabrielle explained to Viki that there had been 'extenuating circumstances' under which she had been pressured to kill Megan! Carlo Hesser had threatened to kill her son Al if he didn't have her cooperation! Viki wished Gabrielle was still in prison but she said she had paid her debt to society. Viki wanted her to leave and before she went, asked her what she had 'really' come for! 

JESS' LAMENT

Jessica sat at the table remembering all the times Will had avoided her questions. Times he had lashed out at her in anger, had kept things hidden from her. When he had insisted his mother had nothing to do with the murder! He had acted so vehemently, that suddenly it seemed all too clear to her and she lowered her head to the table. When she looked up, Seth stood by to take the dinner order. She said they weren't staying and introduced herself, which made him look at her in an odd way. On her way out, she ran into Al, who told her that Seth was an old friend of Cristian's.

HAPPY HOTEL

Blair was furious about Todd's regaining custody of Starr and swore she wouldn't let him destroy her life! She told him he couldn't be trusted, which showed in the hurt look on his face. He swore he would make things right for her but she told him to tell someone who cared!

LLANFAIR

Gabrielle offered the olive branch to Viki, who wanted to tell her where to put it! Jessica came 'home' and Viki embraced her! She had seen Al and Gabrielle sked Jess to visit her, and left. Jessica told her mother she had heard everything Viki had done for her and was glad they were now both okay! 

BROTHER TO BROTHER

Ben knew that Sam despised violence and swore he would get at the truth. Will arrived and Sam filled him in. Nora overheard Lindsay tell her sister that she wanted her out of Sam's house and Lanie said she would get her stuff and go to a hotel. Lindsay reminded her that if she kept their deal and left town, she would see to it that the North Carolina authorities wouldn't arrest her for the murder of their father! Will told his dad that the murder accusation wasn't true and Nora asked him what he knew that he wasn't saying!

FINAL MOMENTS...

Todd told Blair to check out and they would go and see Starr together but she asked Max to escort her out. He happily accepted her offer to take her to see her daughter and Todd stood alone again, sadness in his eyes Asa met with Gabrielle at the Palace and knew that she'd had no luck with Ben because he was helping his brother with a murder rap! She agreed that Viki wouldn't budge but the plan was going to work out fine as soon as she could get Ben alone!

Lindsay asked Will what he had been saying because Nora was convinced she had killed Colin! 
Nora insisted that Bo couldn't close the investigation into Colin's murder! Sam wasn't the killer, and neither was Lanie! Bo said that the evidence on Sam was stronger, and it was out of his hands.
