SAM'S

Todd snuck back into Sam's and grabbed Blair's folder from the box on his couch. He began to read and then he smiled. The file said it was obvious that Blair still loved him! He asked Sam to fill him in on all the things Blair 'hadn't' told him!

UNIVERSITY

In the classroom, Jess and Seth sat in the dark watching the reel to reel film. Will showed up and tried to get in but found the door locked! He went and got the janitor to let him in because he left his organizer behind!

ADDLED ATTORNEY

Nora answered the phone and thought she was hearing Colin's voice! It turned out to be a reporter, but rattled her badly anyway. When the doorbell rang, she yelled for everyone to leave her alone! Rae called out that it was her, and Nora let her in. Nora was in bad shape and Rae tried to remind her that Colin's death had been a matter of self-defense, not murder! Rae used the phone but when Nora realized she was calling Sam, she grabbed the phone and hung up!

* STARR *

Aunt Viki turned up at Dorian's to find Starr dressed to visit her mommy! She told Starr she couldn't take her, she began to have a fit of temper! Viki calmly said that stomping her foot or holding her breath wasn't going to work! Starr guessed that her mother was with Max and Viki said they would try to visit her again the next day. She wondered if what her daddy said was true. That if her mommy went with Max, she wouldn't have time for Starr anymore! Aunt Viki reassured her that mom's always had time for their kids!

BUCHANAN MANSION

Max wondered what would make Blair think he would marry her! Todd was going to try and take the baby away and might succeed if Max didn't marry her! Todd had already taken Starr away and Sam advised her that if they were married, Max would have legal rights to the baby! He didn't believe they needed such extreme measures but Blair said it would help him with Gabrielle! Gabrielle, who was eavesdropping outside, overheard Blair tell Max that he 'didn't want Gabrielle anyway', and stepped in to intervene!

'CREEP 'U'!

Jess was jumpy at first, but then permitted Seth to rub her tense shoulders. It was in this position that Will found them, when the janitor opened the door and he turned on the light! Jess saw the reaction on Will's face and said they had been watching a movie but Will saw that the screen was empty! Jess asked Seth to leave so she could talk to Will. He was angry that Jess could get over him so easily! He was so self-pitying it made Jess angry too! They parted on a sour note, while outside Seth listened at the door!

SAM

Sam told Todd that Blair ought to tell him the truth, he shouldn't be reading private files! He knew that Todd wouldn't listen to anyone tell him about Blair's feelings for him. Viki was at the door and he told her to try and talk to Todd! Viki said Blair told Ben she loved him, when they talked in the attic!

TWO MRS. BUCHANAN'S!

Gabby interjected, loudly, that Blair's curiosity amused her! Wasn't Max afraid Blair would try to kill him again! Blair reminded Gabrielle that she and Max were united because they were having a baby. When Gabby said she knew about two people making a baby, she and Max had done that once...Blair blasted her! Al was Asa's because Gabby had turned him 'against' Max! Angered, Gabby said he'd had enough time with Blair and she wanted her 'removed from her home'! Max then questioned Gabby's interest in his dealings with Blair!

SAM

Todd told him he heard Blair say she wanted to be with the father of her baby but Viki said that Max wasn't the father of Starr! Ben had thought she meant Max at first, but then realized what she had meant! She tried to assure him that he wasn't being 'set up' and advised him to go and speak to Blair! Todd, thinking he had figured it out, said they all wanted him to believe what Viki was saying, so that Blair could see Starr!

LOOPY LAWYER!

Rae was not going to call Sam, because Nora couldn't face him! She and Sam had been getting closer until she had jeopardized him and his family! She admitted that Sam hadn't returned any of her calls nor had he stopped by to try and see her! She felt she owed it to him to stay out of his life. They heard a soft knock at the door and turned to see Sam standing outside. Nora begged Rae to ask him to leave. She overheard Sam express concern for her well-being and listened to poor Rae 'lie' for her too! Sam wanted to know why 'Rae' was there, when Nora was 'out' and she scrambled to make up a lie quickly, but Sam wasn't buying. Sam left, and Rae did too, although she didn't agree with the way Nora was handling her grief. She made her promise to call if she needed anything...

THE TWO MRS. BUCHANAN'S!

Gabby said she didn't care 'what' Max did with Blair but Asa would be home soon, didn't he want to 'be' with her! Was Blair more important than her! Oh! She had forgotten about the 'baby', but that was 'okay'! Max would soon forget about it too! Max glared and said he wasn't about to forget 'this time' but she smiled and said it remained to be seen! He said he would finish up with Blair in ten minutes or less. In the other room, Blair told Max to think about how crazed it would make Gabby, if he married 'her'!

DIPPY DEFENSE

Matthew came running in the door to tell Nora that he had made a 'home run'! He wanted to call his daddy to tell him the news...

SAM'S SISTER

Viki wanted her brother to admit having made a mistake, to Blair! Todd was ranting and she told him to shut up, which pulled him up so short he had to laugh! He told her he had decided to 'keep Starr' and left, telling Sam, who was on his way back in that Viki was 'acting funny'!

Sam told Viki what happened at Nora's and that Rae said she wasn't there! Viki knew she was feeling guilty over Colin and advised Sam to give her time. Matthew phoned his father and after stating his news, Sam asked to speak to 'mommy'.

HE THINKS HE'LL MARRY

Max wouldn't marry just to thwart Gabrielle! Blair could see that he wanted Gabrielle, and shouldn't make himself such an easy target! He gently accused her of using him to make Todd jealous but she told him that her relationship with Todd was dead. If Max married her though, he might find a way to get Al back!

FINAL MOMENTS...

Nora said hello to Sam but before he could utter a word, she made excuses for not talking and broke the connection!

Rhonda...Todd's new maid...said a woman was waiting to see him and refused to give her name! He walked in and there stood Gabrielle!

Max admitted he would do whatever it took to get his son back and agreed to marry Blair!
