Todd, Starr and Blair

Todd and Starr are having dinner at the Country Club and Starr is wondering if Blair is going to attend their family dinner.  Todd tells her that the two of them are the family.  He tells Starr that her mother has gone away and Starr is very angry.  She tells him that he’s lying about Blair going away and he tells her that it’s not his fault…that it’s the baby’s fault.  He tells her that Blair is too big and is not comfortable living with them and Starr wonders why Aunt Dorian’s house isn’t big enough.  Todd makes up stories for her and she tells him that she’ll get rid of some of her things to make more room.  He tells her it’s not enough and she says she’ll get rid of all of her things.  Starr doesn’t believe Todd is telling her the truth and she tells him she’s going to the ladies room and he better tell her the truth when she gets back.  While Starr is gone, Blair comes up to Todd…she has been eavesdropping and tells him she knows what he’s doing.  He tells her she’s violating the restraining order against her and that he is going to call the police if she doesn’t leave…and that she has a bad memory.  She tells him he can’t keep her from her little girl and of course, he says he can.  She is very mad at him because he told John Sykes what a good mother she was and then he went and pulled the rug out from under her again.  He tells her that she has a whole new family….and what would she want with the old one?  She tells him he won’t get away with keeping her from her little girl.  Starr comes back to the table and thinks she heard Blair’s voice, but Todd tells her it wasn’t Blair.

Todd tells Starr that Blair will be gone for a while.  Starr wants to know how long.  Todd can’t tell her.  Todd tells Starr the story of when she was little and he bought her a baby shark for her fish tank and it ate all the little fish.  Starr thought that was cool.  Todd reminded her that Blair took the shark back to the fish store because it wasn’t right for that aquarium…and that some fish are just not right for some aquariums.  Starr doesn’t understand the analogy and he tells her that sometimes people just need to go away.  She wants no part of his stories and just wants her mommy.  Todd gives her a doll that he bought her and tells her whenever she wants to play with her mommy, she should play with the doll.  She says it’s kind of like Freddy the Frog and asks if Blair will come back.  He tells her he doesn’t know.

Starr still wants the truth and Todd agrees to give it to her.  He tells her that Blair doesn’t want to be with them and that she wants to be with Max.  Starr says she hates Max and asks if Blair is going to be with Max forever.  She doesn’t understand why Blair would want to be with Max and not with she and Todd.  Starr says she’s going to try and find Blair.  Todd says he already did that.  She tells them that they can’t have a baby if they don’t love each other.  Starr asks if there really is a baby and Todd says that there is a baby and that Blair has a secret.  Starr says she can keep a secret and Todd tells her that Blair is having a baby, but he’s not the father…Max is.

At the concert

Cris is helping set up for Kortney’s concert and Al comes by and asks him if he knows what he’s doing.  Cris tells him he was on the road last summer working with a band and Al doesn’t believe him, until Cris tells him the name of the band, Poco Heathen…then Al is impressed.  Jessica comes by and is a little spooked after her experience in the woods with her car.  She is looking around and is very uneasy.  Natalie comes to the concert and Jess brags to everyone how Natalie saved her by changing her tire and Natalie says it was nothing.  Al is taken with Natalie…as well as every other girl in the place.  Seth shows up and Al tells him that he knows that the only reason Seth took the film course they’re all taking is because Jessica is in it.  Seth hopes that Al won’t tell Jess that.

The concert starts and Al introduces Kortney who announces that the first song is a dedication from a secret admirer to Jessica.  Seth is sitting next to Jess and she has no idea who the admirer could be.  They enjoy the music.

At the courthouse

Bo tells Hank that he will speak to Nora about what the judge said.  Sam is in the room with Nora and Lindsay and asks how Lindsay got in there.  She said there was no guard and she wanted to thank Nora for coming forward.  Lindsay starts going on and on about her family being ripped apart by the trial and that she knows how Nora must feel about the prospect of going to prison.  Sam tells her not to get ahead of herself…no decisions have been made.

Bo comes in and tells them that the judge will be reconvening court shortly with her decision.  Lindsay tells Nora that it must be a comfort to know that she really did commit the murder and that it would be worse if it were a crime she didn’t commit.

Sam asks Lindsay to leave.  She asks him not to take too long…that their children need them.  Lindsay says how awful it was that they both had to confess to protect their children and they have done so much damage to their family with what they did.  Sam said the kids would be fine.  Lindsay doesn’t know how and Sam tells her they are very strong.  Nora tells Sam that she is so very sorry for not getting her memory back sooner.

Back in court, Nora sits at the table with Sam.  The judge comes in and says that she has heard the recommendation of the D.A. and has reviewed all the facts.  She says that she has decided to lean towards leniency and compassion and that no charges will be filed against Nora at Hank’s recommendation…and no proceedings will take place on this matter in the future.  The judge adjourns court…Bo is thrilled…Sam is thrilled…Hank is thrilled…Nora is in shock…Lindsay is furious!  Lindsay congratulates her on getting away with it and Bo says that the judge made the right decision.  Lindsay says Nora is very lucky…and it was a sarcastic remark.  Bo gives Nora a hug and so does Hank.  Nora is shocked that he has not pressed charges and he says she’s been through enough.  He also admits that the whole thing is his fault for putting Colin back on the street and Nora will not let him take the blame for that.  Hank tells Nora to be good to herself…that she deserves it.  Lindsay sneaks up to Nora when no one is listening and says, “You’re a killer Nora.  I don’t care what anyone says…and you’re going to have to live with that for the rest of your life.”

Lindsay goes to find Will and Jen who are feeling very guilty for blackmailing their mother who “loves them so much”, especially when she was innocent.  Lindsay finds them and she says she wants to celebrate with them and wants them to stay with her tonight.  They agree and they say they love her…they all hug as Cristian comes by.  Jen and Will don’t see him, but Lindsay does and ignores him.  Cris leaves the courthouse.

Bo comes up to Lindsay and tells her he’s impressed with her confessing and sacrificing herself.  She thanks him.  He tells her it was very brave, but not too smart.  Bo tells Will and Jen that they could have made everything a lot easier if they hadn’t covered up the fact that they found Colin’s body in the woods.  Will took responsibility for that and Bo told him not to take the law into his own hands any more…and to come to him if there is a problem with anything.  Will agreed.

Jen and Will apologize to Lindsay and she says it doesn’t matter.  All that matters is that they know how much she loves them.  She says she doesn’t care anyway because everyone in town already hates her.  They say it’s not true…she knows it is.  She tells them that all that mattered to her was that they not lose their father…that’s why she confessed.  Will and Jen agree to never tell anyone about Lindsay’s part in Nora’s kidnapping and Lindsay is very grateful.  She says she regrets what she did and would never do anything like that again.

Blair and Sam

Blair tracks down Sam at the courthouse and tells him she needs his help. They go to a private room and she tells him about Todd having the restraining order against her and not letting her near Starr.  Sam says he can’t do that, but Blair says he has.  Sam says he’ll straighten it all out.  Blair wants Sam to do something to make sure that Todd can’t take her new baby away from her like he’s doing with Starr.  Sam tells her that Todd can’t take her baby away.  She says he can if he finds out the truth.  Sam wants to know what the truth is and Blair makes him swear that he’ll never tell a soul what she’s about to tell him.  He swears and she tells him that the baby is Todd’s.

Nora at the cemetery

Nora goes to the cemetery and goes to Colin’s grave.  She tells him that she is so sorry for what she did…that she killed him.  She is crying and telling him that everyone told her that he saved her life in the train wreck and nursed her back to health and made her walk again and she never said thank you.  So she thanked him.  She said he saved her…and she killed him.  She flashes back to the time she was being taken care of by Colin.   She is kneeling at the grave and tells him that she did see the goodness and sweetness in him and then it went away.  The she decides that she has dwelled on Colin long enough and at that moment, she hears something in the bushes.  She looks up and says, “Colin!”  She obviously sees “him”….or whoever it is…we don’t.
