The Attic At Llanfair

Starr is playing with her dolls when Viki and Ben show up. Ben goes in to investigate when Viki hears a noise. They discover Starr hiding behind some clothes. Starr pretends to be a doll and Viki and Ben play along. Starr finally asks them what they are going to do now that they have found her.

Starr says she wants to move in and is willing to pay rent. Viki offers to make a deal with her and Ben leaves. Viki asks how much money she has and Starr hands her a wad of money. Viki tells Starr she will need references and says she will call Todd and Blair. Starr says they are out of town – in Greenland. She tells Viki her parents are better off without her. Viki assures Starr that she is not the cause of Blair and Todd’s fighting. Starr says Señora Lena’s bones say she is the cause.

Starr maintains that Blair and Todd never fought before she was born. Starr tells Viki the stories Blair has told her about Blair and Todd’s relationship. Viki asks Starr if she thinks her parents will get back together if she is gone. Starr is positive that they will. Viki tells Starr the story of bringing her to visit Todd in this very attic and how happy Todd was to see her. Starr is sure that won’t be the case this time – Todd doesn’t like babies anymore. Starr is adamant that she is the cause of their fighting and Viki tries to allay her fears.

The Police Station

Blair and Todd are harassing John about his inactivity in the search for Starr. When John can get a word in edgewise, he tells them that Starr may have been found in Centerville. Blair is relieved and she hugs Todd, then goes off to freshen up. John asks Todd if he knows why Starr would run away. Todd plays dumb, but John says Child Protective Services will expect an answer. Todd assures John that Starr will vouch for the fact that she is not being mistreated. John is concerned that CPS will declare Blair an unfit mother. Blair overhears Todd volunteer to tell John just what kind of mother she is.

John maintains that Blair’s stint at St. Anne’s will work against her with CPS. Todd points out that Viki has had trouble with reality in the past and no one took her kids away. John goes through all of the things Blair has done in the past and Todd justifies each of his accusations. He vehemently defends Blair. Blair is touched and thanks Todd for his support. They bring in the child and it’s not Starr.

Blair is hysterical and demands that they continue to look for Starr. Todd gets a phone call from Ben, who tells him that Starr is at Llanfair. Blair and Todd rush off to pick her up.

Llanfair

Blair and Todd are happily reunited with Starr. Starr thinks she should have gone to NY, like she had planned. Blair asks why Starr would want to run away. Viki tells them that Starr believes that she is the reason that they fight. Blair swears that’s not true. Viki thinks Blair should explain to Starr the real reason why she and Todd are not getting along…

The Break Bar

Roseanne admits to Cris that she knows who killed Colin because she was there when it happened. She tells Cris that Señora Lena told her she is surrounded by death. Roseanne says she keeps hearing Colin laughing. She has to do something even if it causes her to lose Antonio. Roseanne is afraid that Antonio won’t understand why she kept the secret for so long. She confesses to Cris that she was RJ’s spy at the police department. Cris assures her that he doesn’t hate her.

Cris presses her to tell him why she was at Colin’s house that night. Roseanne says Colin knew she was the mole. What happened at Colin’s? Cris wonders. Cris wants to know if anyone else knows she was there. Roseanne says the police never asked her if she had been at the house that night. Cris tells her she has to come forward.

Roseanne begs Cris not to make her confess. Cris vows to stand by her. Roseanne tells Cris that she knew he was working undercover for Bo. Cris is grateful she didn’t share that news with RJ. Roseanne is grateful for his support. Cris calls Bo to tell him that Roseanne has a confession to make. Roseanne slips out as he is talking to the police.

Cris can’t find Roseanne, so he cancels his appointment with Bo…

The Courtroom

Lindsay tells Hank, Nora, Sam, Will and Jen that she has a confession to make. Lindsay says if she gets back on the stand, she’ll tell them what really happened to Colin. Hank refuses to put Lindsay on the stand unless he knows what she is going to say. Lindsay gives her “I want my children to love me” speech. She takes a deep breath and prepares to tell Hank what she knows.

Nora presses Lindsay and she hesitates. Hank says they can do this in private, with her lawyer present. He wants to go to his office, but Lindsay wants to get it over with. She confesses to Colin’s murder! Sam and Nora are stunned. Hank is dubious – Lindsay is confessing just to get Sam off. Lindsay says she thought Nora would get Sam off, but now that it looks like he will be found guilty, she has to come forward. She says she has been lying her whole life and now it’s time for her to face what she’s done.

Lindsay tells Jen she can have her gallery. She tearfully begs Will to remember the good things she has done. Jen lashes out at her and tells her to stop the act. Jen doesn’t feel sorry for her and she runs out. Will follows her. Sam asks for a moment alone with Lindsay.

Sam wants to know if Lindsay was actually going to let him go to prison. She was, but she couldn’t go through with it, Lindsay says. She is worried about Jen, but Sam assures her she will be fine. Lindsay is afraid everyone is going to think she is a monster. Sam tells her he will help her mount a self-defense plea. Lindsay doesn’t think any jury will have mercy on her after what Nora did to her on the stand.

Outside The Courtroom

Nora marvels to Hank about Lindsay’s confession. She is suspicious of Lindsay’s motives. Nora has a flashback of Colin falling down the stairs. Hank thinks Nora should be pleased about her victory. Nora can’t put her finger on why none of this makes sense. She tells Hank that she remembers seeing Colin fall, but can’t see Lindsay pushing him. Hank brushes it aside and Nora decides to let it go for now.

Will tries to get Jen to cut Lindsay some slack. Jen goes to Lindsay and apologizes. The women embrace as Sam and Will look on.

The Courtroom

Hank recalls Lindsay to the stand and asks her if she was an eyewitness to the murder. Lindsay says she killed Colin. Nora has a flashback of Roseanne’s face…

Roseanne’s Hotel Room

Roseanne is frantically packing to make her escape…

Line of the Day

John to Todd: You’re actually going to compare Viki and Blair?

Todd: Well, they do have similar haircuts.
