St. Anne’s

Todd and Blair confront Addie regarding Starr’s whereabouts. Addie claims not to know where Starr is and says that she went off with a “strange lady.” Todd and Blair assume it was Señora Lena. Addie doesn’t think Señora Lena was the person who took Starr. Addie says the woman’s name was “Sunshine” – and she’s Blair’s therapist. Rae comes in and wants to have a therapy session with Blair and Addie. Todd jumps on Rae - Where is Starr? Rae doesn’t have a clue.

Rae is adamant that she did not take Starr. Todd threatens to kill her if she doesn’t tell him where Starr is. Rae is appalled and pleads with Blair to be rational, but Blair is too worried to be rational. Blair reminds her that Addie said Rae took Starr and Addie doesn’t lie. Rae challenges Blair to believe Addie over her. Addie finally confesses that she may have been confused. She tells Blair that Rae left first – she was mistaken about Rae taking Starr. Blair and Todd come to the realization that no one knows where Starr is or whom she is with.

Blair and Todd call the cops and try to get them to search for Starr. Blair lashes out at Rae for letting Starr leave by herself. She’s your responsibility, Rae counters. Blair is hysterical and Todd takes her in his arms and promises her they will find Starr…

Outside Llanview

Starr is on the roadside trying to hitch a ride…

Asa’s Mansion

Max says he will sleep outside the door to guard Gabrielle from Asa, but she insists he sleep with her. Gabrielle tries to reason with Max and convince him to stay in his room with her. She threatens to go to the kitchen and stay there with a pot of coffee in case Asa comes in. Max caves in and says she can stay – for Al’s sake. Gabrielle is grateful for Max’s help. She feeds him a sob story about her time in prison. Save it, Max spits.

Gabrielle admits she may have made a mistake by marrying Asa, but maybe they should forget the past and look to the future. Max tells her to get some sleep and he collapses in a chair and watches Gabrielle climb seductively into the bed.

Renee berates Asa for his drunken act. Asa tells her to go home, but Renee wants to know what his game is before she goes anywhere. Asa maintains that Renee is blackmailing him, but agrees to tell her what he is up to. Asa says he was trying to frighten Gabrielle so she doesn’t try to pull the wool over his eyes. Renee says he will never be able to trust her. I never trusted any of my wives - not even you, Asa says smugly.

Renee is stung by Asa’s words. She defends her actions in keeping the truth about Max from him – she didn’t want Asa to be hurt. Asa says her lies were unforgivable. Renee says she will tell him the truth right now – Asa will die alone if he continues to treat people the way he does. Asa tells her to leave or he will call the cops. Renee assures him that she only lied to protect him and she will never do it again. She is through with him and gladly leaves him alone. You’re still a helluva woman! Asa says gleefully, as he follows her out of the room and heads upstairs to check on Max and Gabrielle.

Gabrielle has a nightmare about Asa and Max comforts her. Gabrielle hears Asa wandering the halls threatening her. He stands outside the door playing his part in their little game. Gabrielle clings to Max, begging for his protection and he buys their act.

Colin’s House

Nora enters and hears Colin’s laughter as she is going up the stairs. She is startled when Bo finds her. Bo tells her she needs to stop coming to this house, but Nora is determined to find something that will free Sam. Bo knows Nora is convinced that Lindsay is the killer. Nora wants incontrovertible proof that Lindsay is guilty and the only way to get that is for her to get her memory back.

Bo doesn’t want to see Nora go down that road – he doesn’t want her to get hurt. Nora is determined to do this, with or without Bo’s help – she needs to get her life back. Bo offers to help her – just like he did the last time. Nora is convinced that she will remember this time, since Lindsay is in jail and can’t interrupt them.

Nora asks Bo to walk her through the events of that night. Nora remembers being in Colin’s bed – and hearing something. She goes back to that night and remembers Colin laughing at someone. She sits up in the bed and tries to get out. Then what? Bo asks. He presses Nora to focus and try to remember more. Nora remembers getting out of the bed and trying to get to the door. Suddenly, Nora remembers what happened – she heard footsteps on the stairs…

Señora Lena’s Apartment

Roseanne returns with the $500 for the potion. Señora Lena refuses to give it to her, saying it’s too late. Roseanne is confused, but Señora Lena tells her that things have changed since they first met. Señora Lena is convinced that Roseanne has done something to anger the spirits. Roseanne’s terrible secret will prevent the potion from working.

Roseanne doesn’t understand; she doesn’t have any secrets. Señora Lena says the spirits know what she has done. Roseanne insists she hasn’t done anything bad. Señora Lena offers to help Roseanne figure out what has angered the spirits. Roseanne is leery, but agrees to Señora Lena’s help if it will help her get Antonio back. Señora Lena brings out the bones to help her conjure up the spirits. Señora Lena says this secret is not about betrayal – it’s about death.

Roseanne is nervous as she watches Señora Lena interpret the bones. What do they say? she asks. They remember a sound, Señora Lena says – the sound of footsteps on the stairs. You know there was death on those stairs, Señora Lena accuses. Roseanne looks terrified.

Llanview Jail

Sam gets a new neighbor – Lindsay. Lindsay demands a phone call to her lawyer. Sam tells her now that they are alone; it’s time for the truth about Colin’s murder. Lindsay is all for it – as long as Sam admits he is the killer. Lindsay lashes out at Sam for what Nora did to her in the courtroom. Lindsay brings up their past together and says she knows they have always stuck together for the sake of the kids. Lindsay is willing to forgive Sam for pulling her into his crime. Sam thinks Lindsay has lost her mind.

Lindsay asks Sam to be honest about what he has done. Sam thinks she is wearing a wire. Now you’re crazy, Lindsay cries. Lindsay swears she is on Sam’s side and just wants the truth. Sam points out that Lindsay had quite a motive to want Colin dead. Lindsay looks Sam in the eye and swears she didn’t murder Colin. Neither did I, Sam says. Then who did? Lindsay wonders.

Lindsay says they are all being played for fools. If Lindsay or Sam or Jen or Will didn’t kill Colin, then who did?

Line of the Day

Lindsay (to Sam, who thinks she is wearing a wire): Where do you think I’m hiding it? In my hair? Down my blouse? In my pants? Oh, it’s too bad I can’t come over to your bars and press my body against it so you can frisk me!
