Todd, Blair and Starr

Todd and Blair are discussing their situation.  Blair is wondering if Todd can ever accept Max’s baby and raise it as his.  He tells her he can’t forget that it’s Max’s baby.  Blair knows he has feelings for her and wants to know if he can ever see himself raising the baby as his and he tells her that Max will always be a part of their lives.  She tells him that she will keep Max out of the house…that he won’t be allowed to come there, but Todd isn’t buying it.  They start to argue all over again and storm into the foyer.

While they were upstairs arguing, Starr was downstairs leaving a note saying she was running away…and she left.  Todd and Blair continue their argument in the foyer and Todd spots a piece of paper on the floor.  He yells at Blair to get a better housekeeper and then there wouldn’t be stuff all over the floor.  They both refuse to pick up the piece of paper and Blair starts to go upstairs to take a nap.  Todd picks up the paper and sees what it is and he calls Blair back down, telling her that Starr has run away.   They argue again over going to look for her and finally they go to look for her together.

Starr shows up at St. Ann’s wearing a miniature nun’s habit and runs into one of the nun’s…the one who is a little “nutty.”  She asks Starr if she is the new novitiate and Starr says she is, even though she doesn’t seem to know what that is.   The older nun asks Starr if she has gotten her assignment yet, and Starr thinks fast and says she’s supposed to see Addie Cramer.  The nun points to Addie’s room and Starr goes in.  At first, Addie thinks she’s another nun, but then Starr reveals herself, telling her grandmother that she has come between her parents and has come to live with her grandmother.  Starr tells Addie all about the voodoo lady and Addie tries to console her, telling her that her parents love each other and it’s not her fault that they fight.

Todd and Blair go to see the voodoo lady and Todd gets very loud and angry and gets nowhere finding out where Starr is.  Blair, with a calmer head, tells the voodoo lady that Starr left a note saying she’s running away and they need to find her.  The voodoo lady takes the letter and says she can tell them where Starr is.

At the trial

Lindsay is still in the hot seat and Nora is going in for the kill.  She has Lindsay repeat that she thinks Sam murdered Colin.  Lindsay says that at first she thought he was covering for Jen, but then she realized that he must have done it himself.  Nora went after her about how reliable she is as far as telling the truth.  She brought up the fact that Lindsay paid Jeff Barnes to alter Matthew’s paternity results and also to alter the results on the test of Bo’s sperm count.  Lindsay had to admit she did it when Nora had all the paperwork in front of her and threatened to bring in Jeff Barnes to testify.  She forced Lindsay to admit that 2 years ago she lied to Bo and told him she was chased by a mob of guys and was lost in the woods…when she really was in New York at a spa.  Nora also forced her to admit her affair with Colin and that he was her sister’s husband and that Sam divorced her for adultery when she slept with his law partner.  Nora exposed all the lies and totally destroyed Lindsay’s credibility…then Nora asked her if there was one person in the whole town who could vouch for her truthfulness and Lindsay had to admit that there wasn’t anyone.  Nora also tried to get her to admit her part in her kidnapping with Colin, but Hank objected and Nora withdrew the line of questioning saying that it’s very personal to her and she got carried away.   Nora wanted Lindsay to admit she had reason to hate Colin and at first, Lindsay wouldn’t admit it.  Then Nora produced Lindsay’s bank records, of all the money she withdrew.  Nora accused her of taking out all the money she could to give to Colin, to pay him off for keeping quiet, and when she ran out of money, she killed him.  Lindsay keeps saying she didn’t kill Colin.  During Lindsay’s questioning, everyone in the courtroom was silent and looking on in disbelief at hearing Lindsay admit everything.  Her kids looked very sad and Melanie seemed to be getting satisfaction out of seeing Lindsay have to answer for all her lies.  Nora finished her questioning at that point.  Hank did not cross-examine and Lindsay left the stand.  As Lindsay was walking down the aisle of the courtroom, she was met by Bo, who arrested Lindsay on the spot for conspiring to cover up a crime…helping Sam to bury Colin’s body.

Asa, Gabrielle and Max

Gabrielle is in the study having some champagne with Asa when they hear Max come in.   They are ready to get their plan going again and Gabrielle tells Asa to leave and she will handle Max.  Asa leaves and Max comes in.  Gabrielle tries to get Max to have some champagne with her, telling him that she is taking his advice and not scrimping on what she likes…she’s just spending her husband’s money like Max suggested she do.  Max tells her he’s not interested and they have one of their usual conversations.  She notices that Max is upset and he admits that Todd has him very angry and that he doesn’t like Blair living with him…that it’s causing her too much stress.  Gabrielle reminds him that they also have another child, Starr, and Max lets Gabrielle know that Starr is no prize either.  Gabrielle also reminds him that he caused Blair plenty of stress himself and of course, he doesn’t want to be reminded of that.  They keep going back and forth and finally Asa comes storming in telling Max to get away from his wife.  Of course, this is all part of their act, but Max seems to be buying into it.  Asa accuses Gabrielle of carrying on with Max and Asa also threatens Max about going after his new wife.  He tells Max that he has a case full of guns and tons of ammunition and he won’t hesitate to use it. Max tells him to quit the idle threats and Asa tells him it’s not a threat.  Gabrielle tells Max to leave, that she can take care of her situation with Asa and Max reluctantly leaves, but listens outside the door.  Asa and Gabrielle really lay it on…with Asa tell Gabrielle that he’s going to lock her in her room upstairs and teach her what a real wife is supposed to be.  Asa grabs her arm and she pretends that he’s hurting her and begs him to let go.  Max hears this, rushes in and tells Asa to get his hands off of her.
