BREAK CLUB

Jessica asked Cristian the price for a fake ID card. She yelled at him,
saying kids got sick from drinking because of him! She had defended him
to Will and Sam. She had been wrong, as Jen wound up in the hospital
because of him! Cris put the phone in front of her and dared her to call
Sam! Jess reached over and picked up the receiver.

SAM'S

Jen assured Lindsay that she and Will believed her over their Uncle
Colin! Jen pouted as Will told her that Sam found out she was in the
hospital from a nurse, not him! Then it was her turn to tell the truth,
about where she had gotten the fake ID!

NERVOUS BREAKDOWN

Colin was angry that Lanie offered him money to leave everyone alone! He
kept harping on the details of their marriage. Lanie cited his victims,
Will, Nora, Jen! He maintained that he was protecting her secret! Lanie
shouldn't try to erase him from her life! She told him he was losing
touch with reality and needed help. He agreed and said there was a favor
that only she could do for him.

DA'S OFFICE

Nora asked Hank to drop the charges against Skye. Sam wanted the charges
dropped against Blair, Todd shot Max, not Blair! Nora suggested that
maybe Todd and Skye had done the dirty deed! Hank chuckled to himself,
knowing that Todd, Blair and Max had three-way communication as they were
in adjoining cells downstairs!

HAPPY TRIO

Max told Todd that if Asa died, he would see him up on murder charges!
Each time Todd came close to telling Blair what he had seen, Max
interrupted them! Todd finally erupted in anger, demanding to speak to
Hank about cutting a deal! He was going to tell Hank all about the scam
the pulled on Asa and the one they pulled on him!

HOSPITAL

Asa told Renee she had betrayed him! She had let him love Max like a son
when all the while she had known the truth! Renee didn't know, and when
she found out she was afraid finding out would incapacitate him! Now he
had found out and he 'was' in the hospital! Asa maintained that Ben was
not his son, Ben was a 'mistake' anyway! Ben appeared in the doorway and
Renee coolly asked if she could help him. He had come to make sure that
she was okay.

Asa rudely asked them both to leave his room! A true wife wouldn't have
lied to him! Ben became angry on Renee's behalf and Asa told her that Ben
was probably 'her' son, from another 'John'! He then grabbed at his chest
and the machines at his bedside sounded the alarm!

HAPPY TRIO

Todd said he was ready to give his story to Hank. Blair asked Max what
Todd had seen! Max maintained that Todd was crazy! She told him that the
exact moment she had stopped loving him was clear in her mind. She went
to the hospital after the shooting and begged him to take her back. Then
he had devastated her when Skye arrived, ready to take him home!

NERVOUS BREAKDOWN

Colin wanted Lanie to speak to Nora for him! She had heard all kinds of
crazy things about him. Lanie had to tell her about their marriage and
all the good times there were! She couldn't do that and Colin became
violent! He accused her of not wanting him to have anyone at all! He
decided he wasn't going to let her leave his house!

DA'S OFFICE

Hank recommended that Nora speak to judge Rhinehart about a retraction
for Skye. He told Sam there would be no bail for Blair, and the guard
escorted Todd into the office. He had been creating a disturbance and
insisted on seeing Hank! Sam and Nora went outside to wait with the
assurance that they would receive a copy of anything about the case that
pertained to their clients!

Todd asked for bail if he provided the information proving that Blair had
shot Max! He insisted upon receiving bail first, but Hank said he had to
talk! Todd offered to give the location of where the gun was hidden but
Hank reminded him that he would just implicate himself! He said he had
something which pointed directly to Blair!

JAIL

Blair reminded Max about the kiss and the champagne. He just had to make
sure that Todd had seen them kiss! She was going to find out what he had
done and would take everything from him that he had taken from her! Nora
came to see Max and he said he could avoid the fraud charges but not if
he remained in jail! She had to get him out of there; Todd and Blair were
mere inches from finding out the truth!

BREAK CLUB

Jessica didn't make the call to Sam and she believed that the Cris she
once loved was still inside of him. He assured her that the old Cris was
gone forever but she didn't believe it. She didn't like the person he had
become and warned that if he didn't stop making the fake ID's she would
call the police! Will arrived and told Cris he wanted to make things
right between them, but Jess said she had something to tell him first!

SAM'S

Will asked Jen where she had gotten the fake ID. She explained that Cris
was a friend to her, one who had paid for his sins! He had lost his
girlfriend and his ability to paint. He wasn't the one who gave her the
ID, he had to lighten up on him! He wondered why she had suddenly begun
to defend their mom! Jen said that maybe all the bad stuff wouldn't have
happened if their mom hadn't lost their dad, or if Jen hadn't been so
hard on her!

NERVOUS BREAKDOWN

Lindsay burst in on Colin as he shook Lanie violently! He raged and
turned and shut the sitting room doors on them, they weren't going to get
out! Out of control now, he ranted about Lindsay's games and lying and
Lanie's whining! Lindsay put her arms out in defense of her sister and
told Colin that she wasn't afraid of him! She told him to stay away from
her sister and her daughter! Then she and Lanie lunged for the door and
ran beneath his arms, to safety!

DA'S OFFICE

Nora had spoken with judge Rhinehart and Max was out on bail, having only
been charged with a misdemeanor! The judge would be setting a bail
hearing for Blair. As they spoke, Nora's anger at her memory loss became
apparent. Sam was concerned that she would approach Colin again but she
avowed that Colin was too scary to be around!

SAM'S

Jen asked her dad if he was every sorry about the divorce. He had found
Lindsay in bed with Colin. He admitted to occasionally wishing that the
phone call had never come, letting him know. He still didn't know to this
day who had phoned him!

BREAK CLUB

Will apologized for his behavior toward Cristian and thanked him for
helping Jen. He offered his hand and hoped for a fresh start between
them. Cris was okay with that yet was unsure of Jess. To his surprise,
she agreed with Will! Will went on ahead of her and she returned to the
bar to retrieve her purse. She told Cris she no longer wanted him in
their lives and that to her, he no longer existed!

FINAL MOMENTS

Assured that all was calm with Asa, Renee and Ben took a final look
before going their separate ways. Max appeared and went in to Asa's room.
Asa opened his eyes and saw Max. 

Blair lay on the cot in her jail cell alone and crying.

After Max's shooting, there had been gunpowder residue; he scrubbed it
off Blair's hands but not from her clothes! Hank said he would agree to
'talk' in exchange for the clothes. Todd countered with bail for the
information just received. For the actual proof of producing Blair's
clothes, he wanted freedom! Todd got his bail, set at one-half million
dollars!

Nora was home after a long tiring day when someone knocked on her door.
She opened it to find Colin there, asking for a few moments of her time!
