<<< BACK TO RECAPS  INDEX

The Park

As Cris searches for Jennifer in the park, he remembers their earlier conversation and tells himself that he should have stayed there and listened to her.

Not far away, Skye is also in the park, having a discussion with herself and with God.  She cannot believe that that “witch” is her mother.  She asks God for a sign, to show her that she’s right, suggesting that he strike Rae with lightning, or set her house on fire.  She finds Jen’s almost empty bottle on the ground and picks it up, asking God if this is the best he could do.  Jen moans softly and Skye calls out, asking who is there.

The Wedding That Wasn’t

Todd continues his game that is filled will sarcastic and painful revelations, announcing that they are playing “Who Wants to be a Buchanan”.  When Bo tries to stop him, he tells Bo that he can’t play; everybody knows that he is a Buchanan.  Blair tries again to stop him, telling him that he can ruin his own life if he wants to, but he certainly doesn’t need to ruin everyone else’s too.  Todd quips that she has been disqualified and cannot play; he then calls Ben to come down and play.  Ben complies, asking what the lowest form of life in the room is, but Todd will not be dissuaded, saying that everybody already knows who he is.  Ben asks if it is the monster that has turned away the only woman that ever loved him, or the freak that tortured a mother and her daughter, or perhaps the psycho who chastised a woman for pretending that someone she loved was her son.  Todd wonders if he can phone a friend, but Ben offers to save him some time and tells him that it is all of the above.  He asks Todd what’s in it for him and why he’s doing this, but Asa warns Ben to butt out.  Ben says that this has been going on for way too long and Asa wonders what that is supposed to mean.

The Park

Skye hears another noise and asks if someone is there, then turns to find Jen lying on the ground in front of the bench.  She bends down and smells alcohol on Jen’s breath and tries to wake her; when she cannot, she pulls out her cell phone, only to find that the battery is dead.  Skye calls out for help and Cristian responds.  Skye tells him that she thinks that it is alcohol poisoning and that they need to get her to a hospital right away.

The Station House

Sophia and Antonio return from their bust of a bust, with Antonio lamenting that he’s not sure why the get paid.  Sophia wonders about the credibility of their informant, but Antonio tells her that RJ was tipped off and covered his tracks. He can’t believe that Cris is ready and waiting to be RJ’s right-hand-man.  How could he have let himself believe that he was only pouring drinks?  Sophia  assures him that Cris probably didn’t even know what was going on, but Antonio disagrees, then admits that he is glad that there was a leak; otherwise his brother would be in jail.

Roseanne’s Hotel Room

Roseanne can’t believe that Colin is threatening to tell the police about her connection to RJ.  He promises that he will unless, of course, she talks him out of it.  She tells him that he must be desperate if that’s how he plans to get her to sleep with him.  He tells her that he is going to help her understand that she really isn’t faithful; all she has to do is to think back to that night.  She argues that she was drunk and that she was having a hard time, but Colin is not convinced.  He offers her a deal, saying that if she sleeps with him, he won’t talk to the cops.  She can’t believe he’s serious; he was nice to her the last time they met.  She says she can’t believe that he is that much of a worm, but Colin assures her that he is.

The Wedding That Wasn’t

Asa asserts that what happens to his family is none of Ben’s business, but Todd thinks that he is a “good player”.  When Max tells Todd to shut up, Todd quips that he should be happy; he has won a lifetime supply of “now I know Blair shot me in the back”.  Kelly points out that Todd is probably accusing Blair to protect himself, but Todd denies it.  Viki again pleads with Todd to stop, asking him what he’s doing.  She tells him that whatever is wrong can be fixed, but that right now he is allowing it to destroy him.  Blair takes advantage of the intense conversation to sneak away from the group as Todd tells Viki that sooner or later everyone will want to play his game.  Ben looks at Viki and tells her that it is time and Max tries to leave with Asa.  Renee stops everyone, saying that she wants to know who her son is now.

The Station House

Sophia reminds Antonio that he didn’t have to arrest his brother, but Antonio tells her that he can’t pretend he wasn’t there.  She tells him that the next time he won’t be.  Antonio says that he is RJ’s now and is learning all his dirty tricks, but Sophia tells him that it could be worse; Cris could be dead.  She explains that with her brother it hurt too much to care and that she’ll always wonder if caring more would have saved him.  Antonio assures her that it wasn’t her fault, but she argues that she’ll never be sure.  She tells Antonio that he talked to Cris and told him what he thought; that makes things different.  Cris saw what it would be like to get arrested and he loves his brother; certainly, he will stop.  Antonio thanks Sophia and she asks if he has plans with Roseanne for the evening.  He tells her that he does not, which is good, as he thinks he needs some time alone and would rather that Roseanne didn’t have to deal with this situation, especially since they are going for a fresh start.  Sophia states that Roseanne could use a fresh start and starts to leave. When Antonio asks her if she is ok, she tells him that she is getting there.

After Sophia has gone, RJ makes a grand entrance, asking who it is that he should see about filing harassment charges.

Roseanne’s Hotel Room

Colin tells Roseanne that she knows what kind of man he is and what happened to him; they are alike.  They are two people scorned.  He sees that Roseanne is getting angry and comments, but she tells him that he hasn’t seen mad yet.  Colin chides that he loves women with a temper.  Roseanne mocks him, saying that he has to resort to blackmail and kidnapping to get a woman in bed with him; they only sleep with him to shut him up.  She wonders how it feels to know that he makes women’s skin crawl.  Colin caresses her face and asks her how that feels.

The Hospital

Cris and Skye bring Jen in to the ER and are met by Larry.  Skye tells him that she thinks that it is alcohol poisoning.  Larry tells the nurse that the patient is in an alcohol-induced coma and orders a drug screen, then asks Skye how much she drank.  Skye isn’t sure, but knows that it was at least a pint, as she found the empty bottle in the park.  Larry wonders how long she was there and if she has regained consciousness at any time.  Cris and Skye cannot answer his questions, but Cris informs him the she was having trouble breathing.  Larry tells them that Jen is lucky they found her when they did.

After Larry has left, Skye asks Cris if Jen means a lot to him.  He admits that he doesn’t know her very well, but that she told him that she needed to talk to him.  That is why he was out looking for her.  He states that he wouldn’t have found her if it weren’t for Skye and asks why she was there.  She tells him that she was trying to wreck her own life.

The Wedding That Wasn’t

Blair sneaks into the bathroom and is thrilled to find the coat and hat that Rae left there earlier.  She takes of her veil and puts on the hat, then hides her long dress under the coat.  She finds glasses and cash in the pockets and is thrilled.  As she turns to leave, she runs smack into and angry Rae, who snatches the away the hat and the glasses, telling her that she can maybe get away from the police, but there’s not a chance that she’ll get away from her.

Ben goes to Renee and asks her to go somewhere else with him; there is something he wants her to know.  Viki asks her to do as Ben asks, telling her that this is not the place to talk.  Renee balks, saying that this is something that she needs to hear with Asa; she won’t keep him in the dark any longer.  Asa warns that Ben is just out to hurt them, but Renee disagrees, saying that he is an honest man and will tell them the truth.  Asa states that he doesn’t want to hear what Ben has to say.  Max again tries to leave with Asa, but Renee tells him that it’s over, she wants to claim her son as her own.  She begs Ben to tell her who her son is.  “I am,” Ben answers.

Roseanne’s Hotel Room

Roseanne agrees to do what Colin wants, but tells him that she needs to freshen up first; she must look terrible.  Colin tells her that she looks amazing and he doesn’t plan on letting her out of his sight.  She begs him not to make her do this, but he teases that he thought she liked it – or she sure seemed to the last time.  She tells him that she was drunk and made a mistake, and he invites her to have some more wine and make another mistake.  Roseanne objects, saying that she is in love with someone else, but Colin assures her that he doesn’t mind.  When she tells him that she doesn’t want to do this, he says that she should have thought of that before.  Roseanne agrees, saying that it is all her fault, but she doesn’t want to hurt Antonio.  Colin promises her that Antonio never has to know.  As Roseanne tries to push him away, Sophia crashes in calling out, “Police!  Get your hands off of her!”

The Wedding That Wasn’t

“You are my son?” Renee asks Ben.  Asa tells her not be a fool.  Max is their son; they even had him tested.  Max chimes in, saying that Ben is lying; he hates them and he and Todd are out to destroy the Buchanan's.  Bo asks how the test results could be wrong, but Ben explains that Max and Blair got some of his hair to use for the test.  Bo seems convinced, saying that Ben has no reason to lie about his; he hates Asa.  Asa is sure that Ben is doing it to “get” him.  Ben the points out that he saved Asa’s life even though he wanted him to die.  Bo asks why saved him.  Ben explains that Max was there and told him that he was Asa’s son, so he saved him, even though he hated him.

Rae tells Blair that she is even lower than Todd.  It is because of her that her daughter sat in jail, scared and alone.  Blair tells her that Skye deserved that; who would want to visit her anyway?  “I did!  And she lashed out at me because of you!”  Rae asserts.  Blair tells her that the tramp she calls her daughter will never love her, no matter how many times she visits her or who she beats up.  “Just like Todd will never love you?” Rae asks.

Roseanne’s Hotel Room

“A chick with a gun!  How hot is that?”  Colin comments.  Sophia asks what’s going on a and Colin tells her that its’ none of her business.  She asks Roseanne if she is okay and if Colin hurt her and then asks her what happened.  Colin invites Roseanne to share the details, telling her that he’s sure Sophia would love to hear about their deal.  Roseanne tries to cover, saying that she flirted too much with him and he got the wrong idea.  Sophia reminds her that Colin was going to force her to have sex with him, but Roseanne argues that it didn’t happen and that she just wants him to go away.  Sophia tells him to leave and that the next time she sees him terrorizing a woman she’ll shoot first and ask questions later.  Colin tells Sophia that she’s a feisty one and he likes that, as he adds under his breath to Roseanne that things are not over.  As he leaves, he adds, “Say Hi to Charlie and the other angels for me.”  Sophia then asks Roseanne what is going on.

Roseanne tells her that she met Colin and they were flirting; she thought that they were just having a good time, but he must have gotten the wrong impression.  Sophia wonders why she let him in, and Roseanne tells her that she thought she could reason with him and get him to go away, swearing that she wasn’t cheating on Antonio.  Sophia can’t understand why she didn’t call the police, but Roseanne tells her that it all happened too fast; she was scared and just wanted him to go away.  She tells Sophia that if she hadn’t come when she did she would have killed him.  Sophia tells Roseanne that she only wants the truth from her.  When Roseanne says that she would never cheat on Antonio, Sophia points out that she would flirt with a stranger, however.  Roseanne is sure that Sophia can’t wait to tell Antonio.

The Station House

Antonio tells RJ that they’ll find the leak, but RJ just laughs, saying that he is a legitimate businessman; it was merely a liquor delivery.  Since he is legitimate, Antonio is sure that RJ will have no trouble with the police keeping an eye on him.  Antonio warns him that they will be watching him 24/7 and they will get him and whoever is working for him.  RJ wonders how they’ll explain that to the taxpayers.  Antonio comments that RJ will never know if he is being watched or not, and RJ retorts that he’ll never know how deep his baby brother is in his business.

The Hospital

Skye tells Cris that she needs to get going.  He thanks her again for all her help and she asks if his friend drinks a lot.  Cris doesn’t think so; he explains that it’s kind of a joke between them; she is always trying to get him to server her, but she is underage.  Skye points out that she must have found someone that didn’t card her, and says that she must have been feeling pretty bad.  Cris wonders how she knows that, and she explains that she didn’t feel better until she passed out.  Cris tells Skye that she saved Jen’s life and Skye comments that Jen saved hers.

Larry comes out and tells Cris that they need to talk to Jen’s family; they have had to take some emergency measures and she make not make it.

The Wedding That Wasn’t

Renee tells Asa that Ben is telling the truth and that she needs him; together they can get through this.  Asa asks Max if he did that – if he told Davidson that he was his son.  He then has a spell and slumps into a chair.  Someone calls 911 and Ben comes over to assist.  He gives Asa a nitroglycerin pill and Max tells him that if Asa dies, it is his fault.

Roseanne’s Hotel Room

Sophia explains that Antonio told her about dating Roseanne again.  She had come to tell Roseanne that she was going to stay out of her way.  Roseanne wonders what she’ll do now.  Sophia tells her that a promise is a promise, but that she wants her to stay away from Colin and that if she ever catchers her hurting Antonio, then Roseanne will need saving from her.

The Station House

Antonio asserts that if RJ’s business is legit, he has no problem with Cristian is in it, but RJ points out that Antonio hates that fact that Cris is “standing” with him.  Antonio knows that Cris saw what could happen to him; he is smart and he will get out.  RJ agrees that he is smart and says that he’ll make him so smart that the “idiots” at the Station won’t be able to arrest him.  Antonio reminds RJ that he has reliable sources, and RJ quips that they weren’t very  “on the money” tonight.  Antonio tells him to believe whatever he wants to and as RJ leaves, he tells him that maybe he’ll find someone to file those harassment charges for him if he comes back tomorrow.

The Hospital

Cris asks Larry if he can see Jen, but Larry tells him that he needs her family there.  Cris has been unable to reach her parents, so he tries to get Will.

The Wedding that Wasn’t

Blair blames Rae for Todd’s not loving her.  Rae wonders how it could be her fault, but Blair retorts that she was supposed to “fix” him.  Blair is certain that Todd never would have acted out that way if it hadn’t been for Rae, which Rae finds laughable.  She mentions that Todd is, in fact, a pussycat.  Blair tells Rae that she doesn’t know Todd and doesn’t know what they have.  She then adds that Rae’s husband left her, her daughter hates her, and Sykes only spends time with her because he feels sorry for her.  As Blair tries to push past Rae and leave, Rae grabs her and slams her up against the door, telling her she’s not going anywhere.

Asa is on a stretcher, and as the paramedics wheel him out, Renee stops Max, telling him not to go and makes the same comment to Ben.  Bo tells her that he’ll be there as soon as he can.  Nora tries to comfort him, telling him that Asa will be ok, and John tells him that he is truly sorry.  Bo tells John that they have work to do and asks where Blair is.  “Speak of the devil,” John comments as Rae comes dragging Blair from the ladies room.

Todd taunts Max, asking him if he’s sad that he couldn’t ride in the ambulance, then tells Ben that he was a fabulous contestant and he should come back and play again soon.  He tells Viki that she is married to her ex-husband’s half brother, which is a little creepy, even for her.

Kevin is angry and threatens him, but Todd tells him to watch out.  He is, after all, with a Kramer woman, and you never know when they’ll shoot you in the back.

Todd then turns to Rae and tells her that she missed the whole show, although she did find out who her daughter was, even if she didn’t want to be found.

Sam tells Todd that he thinks he is done there, and Todd comments that he must be a little sore that he lost his brother.  He then turns to the group and tells them they are all losers.  “Raise the roof for Todd,” he quips, “I’m having fun.  I won.”  Blair tells him that he has, and Bo tells him that the grand prize is a pair of shiny cuffs, as he puts them on his wrists.
