One Life to Live Recap for Wednesday, December 12, 2001

The Country Club

Nora demands to know why Troy is meeting with Lindsay. She is suspicious when Troy says he is planning a fundraiser with Lindsay. Nora doesn’t believe Troy wants to work with Lindsay after what she did to Nora. Troy says he is following her lead and not seeking revenge. Nora wants to know why Troy is hanging out with Lindsay. Does it bother you? Troy counters. Yes, Nora says. Troy is vastly amused.

Nora points out that she wouldn’t care if he were interested in anyone but Lindsay. Nora thinks Troy has ulterior motives. Troy points out that Lindsay is attractive – and he is single. Nora doesn’t buy his excuse for a minute – she is sure he is going after Lindsay. Troy plays innocent, but he doesn’t deny Nora’s insinuation. Nora wants to know how he plans to get Lindsay to confess – and why.

Nora pleads with Troy to let it go. Troy is trying to undo the wrong that his brother did. He tells Nora he is going to pursue this and he will get Lindsay. He is doing it for Nora’s peace of mind. Sam’s call interrupts their conversation.

Nora says she can’t let Troy go through with his plan for Lindsay – because she can’t tell Sam and she doesn’t want to keep it from him. Troy tells Nora she can’t stop him from going after Lindsay and he leaves.

The Train Station

Lindsay wants to know what is wrong with Jen. Sam tells her they will have to wait and see. Lindsay vows vengeance if Cris has hurt Jen again. Lindsay is berating Cris when Carlotta shows up. She tells Lindsay that her daughter needs protection from her, not Cris. Cris and Jen come off the train and Jen tells her mother that Cris loves her and they are back together.

Jen explains what happened and why he broke up with her. Lindsay isn’t willing to let it go, but Sam accepts Cris’ apology. Antonio says Cris did what he had to do to keep Jen safe. Sam wants to know why Keith was after Cris in the first place. Because of RJ, Antonio volunteers. Lindsay is stunned by the news.

Antonio explains that RJ was tipped off that Cris was working for the cops. Lindsay flashes back to when she told RJ about Cris. Lindsay wants to take Jen home, but Jen refuses to go with her. Lindsay notices Al hiding in the shadows and thanks him for standing by Jen. She encourages Al not to give up on Jen. He maintains he is just a good friend to Jen.

Jen says good bye to Al. Lindsay confronts Jen: How will Cris feel when he finds out she slept with Al?

Llanfair

Jess remembers her conversation with Seth – she can forgive him for what he did, but she wants nothing to do with him romantically. Allison shows up to leave a note for Natalie. Jess confronts her and asked why she switched the babies. Allison claims she did it because she was brainwashed by Mitch. When Mitch died, she stayed with Natalie’s parents and decided to switch the babies – just for fun. It made her feel powerful to control the fates of the babies.

Viki and Ben arrive just as Allison is telling Jess that Roxanne is her real mother. Ben tries to kick her out, but Allison taunts Jess. She wants to hear what Allison has to say. When she tells Jess her mother is a low-life, Ben throws her out. Jess is stunned by what Allison’s words. Viki tries to reassure her that Allison is just trying to get under her skin. Jess asks if Viki has met her real mother.

Viki admits she went to see Roxanne. Jess wants to know why she didn’t mention it to her – is Roxanne really that horrible? Viki tries to sugarcoat it, but Jess questions her mother. Viki admits Roxanne paid them a visit. Ben says she came because she wanted to know how much money Jess has. Jess asks to be left alone. She finds Natalie’s address book and discovers her ‘mother’s’ address in Atlantic City.

The Break Bar

Seth is drinking heavily, trying to forget Jess. Natalie hears him tell Chad that he just lost the best thing that ever happened to him – Jess. Natalie tries to talk to Seth, but he tells her to get lost – he wants to drink alone. Natalie persists.

Allison arrives and berates Natalie for not pushing her claim to the Buchanan money. Natalie says she can wait – Viki is being nice to her. Allison warns her that it is only an act – she can’t trust Viki. Allison wants her to rely on her, but Natalie points out that if it weren’t for Allison, she wouldn’t be in the mess she is in right now.

Chad is trying to toss Seth out when RJ intervenes. Natalie leads him out. Allison is ranting about what Viki has done to her. She vows to get Viki out of the way permanently. Seth overhears. Allison tells him to go back to sleep. Natalie tells Allison to leave her alone and takes Seth home. 

RJ calls Keri to set up a dinner. Antonio hangs up the phone. He knows RJ hired Keith and he vows to get RJ. RJ calls his bluff. He knows Antonio has no proof.

Allison is making a to-do list: Get Viki out of the way.

Llanfair

Natalie brings a drunken Seth home with her – they head up to her bedroom before anyone knows they are there. She helps Seth get undressed and into her bed. She vows to make him forget about Jess.

Line of the Day

Nora (to Troy): There are a lot of bright, pretty and available women in Llanview and I bet most of them haven’t tried to smother you with a pillow!
