ONE LIFE TO LIVE RECAP FOR THURSDAY, APRIL 26, 2001

<<< BACK TO RECAPS  INDEX

At the Break Bar, Bo is ready to conduct a search of the whole place when RJ loudly objects, telling him he needs to have a warrant.  Of course, Bo has a warrant and decides to start with the back room.  Colin is still in the middle of the bar in his box.  Lindsay comes forward and says she wants the place closed down.  She is very angry about Cristian making the fake ID’s.  Jenn tells her that Cris had nothing to do with her getting drunk and that he didn’t give her the ID.

In front of everyone, Cris tells Bo he won’t find anything and they go together to the back room.  Alone in the back room, Cris tries to convince Bo to let him work on bringing down RJ.  He wants Bo to use him to get to RJ and Bo asks him what he knows.  Cris says he doesn’t know anything yet and Bo tells him he has to catch RJ in the act.  Cris says he knows something is going down tonight and where, but he doesn’t know yet what time.  Bo isn’t sure about letting Cris in on the plot to get RJ, because he doesn’t trust him.  Bo tells Cris that he knows he lied…that he believes Cris knows about the scarecrow they found in the grave in the woods…and that he does believe Cris made the fake ID’s.  Cris tells him that the only way he could gain RJ’s trust was to make the ID’s so that RJ would believe he would do something illegal.  He said he never gave that ID to Jenn, that she took it when he wasn’t around.  Bo agrees to let him in on the plan, but tells Cris this is not a game and that if things go bad, he’d better bail out…and that he can’t let on to anyone what he’s doing.

Bo and Cris are leaving the back room and realize they can’t both just walk back into the bar…it would look too suspicious.  Cris tells Bo to hit him, so it would look like they had a fight, but Bo has another idea.  He goes to peek out the door to see if anyone is coming, and when Cris comes near the door, Bo deliberately hits him in the head with the door…leaving a nice cut that will look like he and Bo had a scuffle.

Lindsay and Jenn are arguing in the bar.  Jenn is very angry with Lindsay for the way she’s treating Cris.  Lindsay, of course, says she’s only protecting her daughter.  Bo and Cris come back into the bar and Jenn is angry because it looks like Bo hit Cris.  She threatens to tell her father what happened.   Lindsay then tells Bo that she made a mistake about Cris making the fake ID’s.  RJ tells Bo to leave now that he hasn’t found anything and Bo says he thinks he’ll stay and look around some more.  RJ tells him he needs a different warrant to search further and Bo says he’ll be back with one.

Later, Lindsay and RJ are alone in the bar….Colin is still right there…RJ and Lindsay sit right on the box and talk.  RJ tells Lindsay that her worst nightmare is right there.  She doesn’t get it right away, but then she looks down and realized she’s sitting on Colin and says, ‘OH MY GOD.’  She tells RJ to just get rid of him.  She can’t believe he’s there and that RJ has been keeping him.  RJ looks at her and says, “You knew he was dead.”  She doesn’t admit anything, of course, and they look at each other and together they say, ‘YOU KILLED HIM.’

Jenn goes to see Cris in the back room and tends to the cut on his head.  She tells him she knows he’s a good person, in spite of what her mother says…one thing leads to another and they share a passionate kiss.

Max says to Todd in front of everyone that Blair told him she’s pregnant with his baby.  Todd is confused and wants to know what is going on.  He asks Blair if it’s true.  Blair doesn’t answer.  Todd says he doesn’t like this game and he wants the truth.  Blair is very upset about the prospect of hurting Todd.  Max taunts Todd saying it’s not a game, and that they had fun doing it and Todd is getting madder by the minute.  Blair admits that she told Max she’s pregnant and Todd is very angry.  Max keeps taunting Todd and Todd yells at him to shut up.  Todd grabs Max and Blair breaks them up.  He doesn’t believe Blair is pregnant and says, “She’s the skinniest pregnant woman I ever saw.”  Todd tells Blair not to blow their chance together and to tell the truth. He begs her to tell Max that she’s scamming him, when Nora comes to the door.

They all go downstairs where Nora is there with Hank and Antonio.  Nora says they are there to take Todd to the station to make his statement.  Blair says, ‘What statement?”  Nora tells her that Todd confessed to shooting Max.  Todd says absolutely nothing and Antonio is about to arrest him when Blair steps forward and says, “It’s true Todd, I am pregnant with Max’s baby.”  Blair knows that once she confirms that she’s pregnant by Max, Todd won’t confess and go to jail for her.  She loves him and doesn’t want him to go to jail for her and it works.  Todd withdraws his confession, leaving Nora looking like an idiot.  Nora confesses to Hank that Todd really set her up good.  Nora says it looks like Todd doesn’t like the idea of Blair having Max’s baby.  Todd leaves the house and Blair goes upstairs very upset.  Max comes up.  He believes she’s pregnant and wants to talk to her and she can’t stand the sight of him.  She’s so upset about hurting Todd and tells Max to get out of her sight….so he leaves.  Kelly goes up to Blair and realizes just how much Blair loves Todd when Blair explains that she couldn’t let Todd go to jail…that he couldn’t survive it.  So Kelly realizes how much Blair and Todd love each other...that they are willing to go to jail for each other.  Kelly believes that now that Max “knows” Blair is pregnant, he will not want her to go to jail.

Kelly goes downstairs to answer the door and it is Sophia who urgently needs to speak to Kelly.  She tells her that she searched Roseanne’s motel room and found a huge amount of cash under the bed and she is sure that Roseanne is the one leaking information to RJ.  Kelly tells her to be very careful because she illegally searched Roseanne’s room.  Sophia is not even telling Antonio yet…she wants to find real proof.

At the end, Blair is alone in her room and decides she has to tell Todd the truth, even though she doesn’t really trust him not to tell Max it’s a scam.  As Blair is leaving the room, Max is standing there in the doorway and says, “Prove you’re pregnant.”

John questioned Roseanne at the station again about the night of Colin’s dinner and wanted to know what she did afterwards.  She wonders if she’s a suspect and John tells her he’s just questioning everyone again who was at the dinner.  She said she went back to her motel room and has no other information.  Sophia comes in and John lets her be present when he questions Roseanne, but he gets a phone call, leaving Roseanne and Sophia alone.  Sophia comments on Roseanne’s expensive outfit, saying that she was going to buy one like it herself, but it cost 3 months salary.  Roseanne told her sarcastically that she would teach her how to shop and Sophia said she knew how much it cost and that Roseanne makes less money than she does.  Sophia said, “Where are you getting all the cash Roseanne…moonlighting?”  Roseanne just ignores her.  John comes back and says he has no more questions for now.  Later Antonio comes back to the station and is frustrated about not being able to get RJ.  Roseanne says he needs to relax and invites him to dinner.

Todd gets into Rae’s house again (he should really have a key).  He starts reading the psychology books again and is furious because Rae is not there to help him when he needs her the most.  He trashes her desk.
