LOFTY IDEALS

At home, Will wondered if Jess meant to keep her promise of silence! She
was upset for having lied to her Uncle Bo! Colin was dead, and she didn't
understand why they couldn't just tell the police! Will claimed to need
her support and she reminded him that she had flown to Ireland just to
find him! Suddenly, he had no trust to give her in return!

COURTHOUSE

Bo told Sam he felt that the kids were covering up something about Colin
but Sam thought that they were just upset by the whole thing! Kelly told
Sam that Blair would be there on time, and was going to behave herself.

In the elevator at the courthouse, Blair found herself in the company of
Todd and Max!

MOB PRINCESS

Ben yelled that his wedding had taken place months ago and she had known
all that time who had put the hit out on him and not told him! 

Downstairs, as Viki found the right key and opened the door, James
recovered and stood behind her but as she faced a man with a gun at the
door she involuntarily let out a shriek! Upstairs, the sound carried and
Ben began to run!

ASA'S

Skye came around looking for Max, who had gone to see Blair's trial. She
wanted to say goodbye because she was leaving town to find her real
father. She asked to speak with Asa for a while.

COURTHOUSE

Bo gave Hank the package containing the evidence for Blair's trial
personally! 

GOING DOWN?

Todd stopped the elevator, he began to instruct Max in his 'memory' of
the big, bad robbers who had shot him in the back! Max said it wouldn't
work because they had Blair's clothes! Todd had caused Blair's problem
and he could be the one to fix it! Blair told Todd she wanted to talk to
Max. Todd was livid that she appeared ready to forgive the person who had
lied to her and set her up! Blair didn't want anything to do with either
of them and started the elevator again!

Once outside, Blair told Max that she had lied when she told Todd she
wouldn't forgive Max, she had wanted to prevent Todd from ruining
things. Separately, she told Todd that he had his chance and had blown it,
she would take care of herself now! Sam came out and told Todd to leave
before he had him thrown out but Bo said he could stay, if he were
thoroughly searched first!

Inside the courtroom, Blair assured Kelly she had everyone fooled, and
was following their 'script' to help her case!

ASA'S

Skye told Asa that Ben was a good man and their marriage had been a
disaster! Ben had been right to get out when he had! It was just a dare
thing that people were tempted by when in Vegas! Asa spoke about his
father's having a saying, running out of handle on the gun because there
were too many notches in it! Skye was puzzled by this but said she was
off to find her father and hoped Asa would try to find his son!

MOB WITCH

Viki watched Ben question Gina about the hit but she decided to check on
'James'. He assured her there had been a problem with the 'rat' again but
he had taken care of it! Gina told Ben that the hit was professional, and
had been paid for by his father, Asa Buchanan! Watching downstairs, Viki
was as stunned as her husband...

LOFT LIFE

Will said that Jess had been through the mail a zillion times, but she
was looking for a letter from her mom, she always sent them! At least one
a day and there wasn't anything from her. He was bothered by her silence
but she was hurt by his lack of trust.

COURTHOUSE

Todd was searched and given the go ahead. Max smiled as he told Hank that
he could literally 'smell' the justice! Blair was upset at the sight of
her daughter in the courtroom and instructed the nanny to take her back
home! The nanny told her that Mr. Manning had given his permission and
Starr said that she wasn't leaving regardless! As they sat down the nanny
asked Starr what she had in her backpack, it was very heavy! Starr
exchanged a knowing smile with her father! With everything in place, the
hearing got underway.

MOB WITCH

Asa had gone to Rourke to arrange the hit! Ben realized that Max had
known about it but was protecting his 'father'! Gina wanted to know
immediately what he was going to do! Send Bo to arrest him or get Asa
himself!

ASA'S

Asa said his son had found him. Skye thought it ironic that he had turned
out not to be a 'Rapp Davidson' but a true Buchanan! Max made a fool of
Asa and made him believe in and love him as a real son! It was obvious to
her that Max was blackmailing him! She told him that Max was a fake and
Ben was the real thing! He wondered how it was possible to love someone
that you hate! Sometimes he only got what he thought he wanted, and then
wound up with his hands full of ashes. As she rose to leave, Skye wished
that he would get what he truly wanted.

COURTROOM

Hank told Judge Fitzwater that he had motive, means and opportunity
concerning Blair's attempted murder of Max. She was a woman scorned who
could have left him, or divorced him but chose instead, to shoot him. He
had the gun and the clothing worn by Blair with gun powder residue on
them, enough evidence to hold Ms.Cramer for 'murder in the first degree'!


He called Bo to the stand. Starr gently nudged her backpack with the toe
of her sneaker and a snake came curling out!

LOFT

Jess returned from the store and found her grandfather at their door. He
wanted her to get a message to her mother but she told him she didn't
know where she was! He needed her to send a message to Ben...

MOB WITCHERY

Ben was angry with Gina for her remarks about his 'getting Asa'! He had
left that life a long time ago! He didn't want to put his father in jail
and devastate the family, his own family! Gina kept offering help by
pressuring him! Asa had set Tim Rourke off and now he was after Ben! Ben
said it was his problem and he would decide how to handle it!

COURTROOM

Hank questioned Bo about Blair and Todd's wedding, in particular, Todd's
response to the 'I do' request! Bo related what had transpired that day,
and what Blair had done, when someone screamed that there was a snake in
the courtroom! Todd quickly shot to the front of the room, where he eyed
the evidence bag as everyone scrambled for a look at the snake!

LOFT

Jess said that Ben didn't need any further trouble from Asa! He
instructed her to have Ben call Renee, to tell him that anything he
needed they would provide! She didn't know where Ben was either but
promised that if he called, she would give him the message. Asa assured
her that Renee would be very appreciative!

MOB BRAT

Gina urged Ben to talk it out, but he wanted to think! She vigorously
began to rub his shoulders, and talk softly into his ear, making it
increasingly difficult for him to concentrate! She did everything
possible to prevent him from 'thinking'! Viki watched in such a white hot
fury she looked about to melt!

COURTROOM

Blair told her lawyer Sam that she needed air, she thought she was going
to faint! She ran outside into the hallway and dropped to the floor!
Kelly ran to her side and Blair popped her head up but quickly backed
down again when she saw Max coming! She mumbled to Kelly that she
'shouldn't tell Max'! Max wanted to know what she was referring to! Bo
grabbed Todd as he waited for the elevator and asked to see what was
under his coat!
