LANIE IN WAITING.

Melanie answered the door money in hand, to pay the dry cleaners but Bo
was there instead. Bo said it appeared that she was avoiding him! He told
her that when she'd said she was needed at the hospital, he'd phoned to
talk to her. The hospital had told him that she hadn't been in all
evening. It seemed like she didn't want to talk to him and she did but
said it was complicated. He said if it concerned Nora, that he'd spoken
to her and she understood everything. He told Melanie that whatever
feelings Nora might have for him would fade over time. She wondered what
would happen to the feelings he had for her!

MY NEW BEST FRIEND

Nora confirmed her luncheon date for that afternoon, on Lindsay's voice
mail. She turned and startled as Sam was standing there with Matthew. Sam
could barely contain his curiosity about her lunch date and her new best
friend, Lindsay! Nora began to protest but Sam stated the fact that she
had shown up at Viki's shower with Lindsay as well! He told Nora that
they had never spoken all that much and now she was acting like the most
forgiving person...unless! Unless she was becoming friends with Lindsay
as a means of tripping her up!

MOB BAR

Lindsay made her way into the shady bar as a man stared her down and
wondered what she was doing there! She said she was meeting someone and
he had picked the place. As she was served an orange juice at the bar she
turned and who did she see but Asa sitting with the hit man, and an
envelope passed from his hands to the hit man's!

EVILDOER & EVILDOER JUNIOR!

Starr demanded to know why Todd and her mommy couldn't be back together
again! She said they could be one big happy family, they could get
married, live in the penthouse and spoil her! He asked her where she got
all of this and she said television! She asked him when he was going to
ask mommy to get married but he told her mommy was already married! Starr
said she wouldn't be married for long!

MAX THROWS FIT!

Max told Blair to get out, that their marriage is over and she couldn't
try and hide behind the pretense of 'love'! He said that Asa could have
seen the virus and she said that he didn't! He wondered about the police,
what about Sykes who was just itching to arrest him anyway! He told Blair
she'd hung him out to dry, she had destroyed him!

Max stormed over and picked up and threw the computer, smashing it to
bits! Blair hung up the phone and told him that no one at The Banner or
The Sun had any reports of a computer virus. She said she was sure it
hadn't spread too far because Todd had promised her! Max told her he
wanted her out of his house! She said it wasn't his house, it was Asa's
house and she had been the one who helped him get there! She had forgiven
him when he faked his brain damage and she had forgiven him when he had
slept with Skye, he could darn well forgive her for the virus!

ROOM SERVICE

Skye began throwing her things into a suitcase as Rae said she would do
anything to prevent Max's being hurt! A knock on the door proved to be one
very angry woman, who smacked her in the chest with a newspaper! She told
Skye that no one had the right to trash her daughter! Rae peeked her head
around and her closed in for a hug!

MOB BAR

Lindsay looked the shooter up and down and he nodded at her on his way
out the door. When he was gone she strolled over and asked Asa if he was
buying a passport out of the city! He said that no judge in the country
worth his weight would put him in jail for getting rid of her kid or any
one of that family! Colin walked in.

GOTTA HAVE 'FRIENDS'

Nora admitted to Sam she believed that Lindsay was responsible for her
kidnapping! She couldn't remember and still she believed, but Sam said
she wasn't going to do anything about it! Nora said that Lindsay had kept
her 'dead' for months and he expected her to do nothing about it! He said
yes!

LANIE IN WAITING.

Bo said that Viki was getting married that night, and used to be married
to his brother, Clint. After a time they had grown apart, but they still
cared about each other and they always would. He said it was the same
with Nora, and he had moved on. Even though Nora didn't remember, she too
had moved on! He said he wanted her in his life, he told her that he
loved her.

'FRIENDS'

Sam didn't want Nora to take matters into her own hands because he felt
that Lindsay was dangerous! He asked her to back off for Matthew's sake
and for his sake, but she wouldn't let go of it. She said that Sam's two
kids wouldn't like the fact that he had been the one to get the goods on
their mother and he ought to stay out of it! Sam saw that she wasn't
going to budge and made her an offer.

EVILDOERS!

Starr asked Todd why he and Blair had gotten divorced and he said he
didn't want to tell her that it was too personal! She asked if they had
loved each other when they got married and he said they did. She then
said they could love each other again and he tried to tell her it wasn't
that simple but she insisted that it was!

BLAIR'S UNDOING.

Max said he had done everything that Blair ever wanted and she had been
plotting against him! Skye had tried to tell him and not only wouldn't he
listen but he had publicly humiliated her, and all for Blair! Blair cried
and said she had tried to take it back, but Max said she hadn't tried
hard enough!

MOB BAR

Asa faced Colin and said he had been arrested because of the tape Colin
had! Colin said he should have bought it when it had been offered to him!
Lindsay said that tape would have sent Will to prison! Asa left and Colin
told Lindsay he asked to meet her because he needed money. He told her
that about a half million would do for now. She thought he was joking and
he told her he had been suspended from the hospital that morning and he
wasn't practicing medicine at the moment. He said that Melanie had gotten
him good on that score! Lindsay reminded Colin of the threat to his life
if he opened his mouth about her involvement in Nora's kidnapping and
drugging. He said she was the one who had gotten him into the whole mess!
She told him not to bother her for money or anything else!

'PROPOSITION'

Sam cited a case he and Nora had worked on 'Illinois vs. McCarthy', where
they had wound up fighting over who would close the case and they decided
to close it together! They had done so and won the case, he thought they
ought to join up now. Maybe together they could fight Lindsay and
outsmart her!

ROOM SERVICE

Skye suggested that Rae and her mother, Myrtle stroll down to Pine Valley
and go to Myrtle's tacky boutique! Myrtle told Skye that she was 'empty',
through and through and exactly like her father Adam Chandler. Skye
called her a 'sideshow shill, a carnival hanger-on' and asked Rae if she
had told her mother about her new grandson yet!

BLAIR'S UNDOING.

Max told Todd that he had done a real good job helping Blair with the
virus. Blair attempted to dissuade him but he said their marriage was
over! If she wanted to keep talking, she should talk to Todd! She asked
if he were going to go to Skye now and begged him not to leave but he
told her they could both go to hell!

Blair said everything was Todd's fault! He said maybe he missed a code
when he was working on the virus! He said she would thank him for it in
the end but she said she would hate him for it until the day she died!

'FRIENDS'

Nora said she could probably use someone to brainstorm with, and was
about to tell Sam he had a deal when she saw that Lindsay had already let
herself in! So she abruptly told Sam to get out and not to talk that way
about her friend Lindsay! He caught on and said that Lindsay was guilty
and Nora was being foolish and then he said she'd better keep Lindsay
away from Matthew!

LANIE IN WAITING.

Melanie understood Bo's ideas concerning Nora, but said she was afraid to
jump into a relationship. She was dealing with her divorce, and a man had
hurt her a lot, she said she needed to figure out how that happened. Bo
said he wasn't Colin and she said she wasn't comparing them, she just
wasn't ready, it was just too soon for her! He said he respected her
feelings and that he wanted a future with her. He asked her what she
wanted and she said that although she didn't want everything to be on
'her' timetable that she would like to take step back. Bo said he didn't
like it but he understood it.

BEST OF FRIENDS

Lindsay thanked Nora for not believing Sam ideas about her. She told Nora
she was amazed that Nora still had a sense of humor after everything that
had happened to her. Nora said she was sorry to have to cancel their
lunch date but she was in Viki's wedding party and Viki had called and
needed her help to get ready! Lindsay understood and said she would get
back to Nora to set  a new date for lunch. After she had gone Sam phoned
from his car outside. Nora filled him in and told him she would see him
later at Viki's wedding. He said he was going to help Ben get ready. As
she was about to go upstairs, she felt 'something' and went to the front
door. Colin had been watching her and although he was gone, he had left
behind him a single long-stemmed red rose...

ROOM SERVICE

Rae told Myrtle about Daniel and his telling her that she hadn't had a
daughter but a son! A boy named Max Holden Buchanan, and Myrtle wondered
why she hadn't told her sooner! Rae said she was going to a wedding but
that Myrtle must stay over. She said she had to get back to Pine Valley,
and told Skye that in that in Pine Valley she was still the 'town
pariah'! Rae and Myrtle left arm in arm and Skye began to sort through
her clothes once more. Sighing at yet another knock at her door, Skye
opened it and Max stood there. He walked across the room and took Skye in
his arms and kissed her!
