ROOM SERVICE

Skye opened her door to find Todd waiting in the hallway with flowers in
his hand. She promptly deposited them in the wastebasket and said that
Todd stabbed her in the back at the diner, with Max and Blair! He said it
had been twenty-four hours but she told him there was no reason for her
to remain in Llanview. Her ex-husband was going to marry someone else and
her ex-boyfriend was going bonkers over his wife! All of this left her
out in the cold, but Todd wondered what she would do if she suddenly got
everything she had ever wanted!

BUCHANAN GO BOOM!

Max was at the computer about to do a cost benefit analysis of the
refineries in Galveston. Blair came in and protested his workday,
claiming she was lonely and convinced him to take a drive in the country
when he was through. As they made their plans, behind them, on the
computer screen the virus exploded!

Upstairs, Asa lay dreaming about Ben and Max. Ben was holding a gun on
Max and he asked his pa to save him but Asa told him that Ben had a gun!
Max reminded Asa that he had a gun too and when Asa looked at his hand,
he was holding a pistol! He warned Ben to drop the gun or he would shoot
and when he didn't listen, Asa fired at him! He looked pleased until he
realized that Ben was still standing and Max lay dead on the floor, in a
pool of blood!

PRE-WEDDING JITTERS

Ben and Viki woke in each other's arms and as she realized what the day
and time was, Viki tried to hustle Ben out the door!

GIRLFRIENDS

Rae checked the underside of her upper arms for flab, as Renee watched
with amusement. Renee concluded that Rae had a 'date' after Ben and
Viki's wedding and urged Rae to go for it! As they spoke, two women began
to point and gesture in Rae's direction and they were holding a copy of
the paper. Rae grabbed the latest edition of The Sun and found her face
on the front cover again as the headline proclaimed "Sicko Therapist!"

ROOM SERVICE

Todd wolfed down a room service breakfast as Skye speculated on what it
was he had done to Max and Blair! She guessed that he hadn't really been
'helping' Blair at the diner. She asked what he had done, but he wouldn't
tell!

BUCHANAN'S FATE

Blair asked Max if they could have a 're-honeymoon' since he had proposed
to her and given her a new ring! Max was thinking about it when Asa came
in and said he Thanked God Max was all right! Asa looked peaked and told
them he had the bad dream again. He said he couldn't understand how Ben
could be inside his head when he took care of him for good this time! He
picked up the phone and said he was going to save his son before it was
too late!

WEDDING JITTERS

Viki tried to usher Ben out but the phone rang and Ben picked it up to
torment her! Asa's voice was ominous on the other end of the line as he
said that it couldn't be Ben on the phone because he was 'dead'!

MOB BAR

Kevin saw a foot sticking up from the dumpster and realized it belonged
to Joey! He helped him up and out and asked if he were the one who put
Rourke onto him! He told Joey he'd been kicked around for an hour and
Joey said he must have lain unconscious all night in the dumpster! He was
angry that Kevin would think he had done such a thing and Kevin said Joe
had been angry with him the night before! Kevin said that if Joe hadn't
done it, what had the guy meant when he told him that if it weren't for
Mr. Buchanan he would be dead! As he looked at Joey, the realization
struck him that it was Asa!

.JITTERS

Asa's voice continued, as he wondered how Ben could be alive, breathing,
and about to marry! He told Ben it was gonna be done today, he would see
that it is done! Ben told Viki he didn't understand why Asa blamed his
family for breaking up his! Viki said that Ben had never done anything to
hurt Asa, and Ben said he had a thousand reasons for loving her. She said
that they were good enough for her!

BUCHANAN FATE

Max told Asa to stop worrying about the dream and to stop threatening
Ben! Asa insisted that he had to make trouble for Ben first! That Ben
should be dead by now, but he was still alive and he would use every
penny he had if that's what it took, to 'get Dr. Death'!

LLANFAIR LADIES.

Renee told Ben that he and Viki were good for each other, and she was as
happy for them as she imagined his own mother would be. She stopped and
looked concerned and asked if she had said something 'wrong'. Ben told
her that she had just said something 'right'.

MOB BAR

Kevin told Joey that he had seen Asa at the bar one night and he had
recognized him! Still, he wondered if his grandfather would go that
far. At that moment, Asa himself came strolling up to the two men.

ROOM SERVICE

Skye asked Todd why he would want to blow up Max and Blair! An angry Rae
Cummings appeared at the door and told Todd she was sure there was
somewhere else he'd rather be and he agreed and left. He told Skye to
consider his offer! Rae said she wanted to shove the paper down Skye's
throat! She said she thought that Skye was blackmailing Max, and he was
sleeping with her to keep her nasty mouth shut!

POP GOES THE WEASEL!

 "MAX BUCHANAN IS A FRAUD!" were the words blazoned across the computer
screen! Blair saw Max's face and asked what was wrong. He invited her to
look and she began to protest that Skye did it! Max said it was very
thorough, it explained how they had paid off Esther Hoffman, faked the
DNA test, and there was no mention of Ben! He reminded Blair that Ben
didn't want Asa to know his parentage, and there were facts he didn't
know! Blair began to make suggestions as to how they could remedy the
situation but Max wanted to know where she was getting the 'we'! He had
been given full credit for the scam and it appeared that he had pulled
her into it! He told her it explained how they got the hair sample for
the test, and there was no way Skye could know that because he had never
told her! He wanted her to tell him who was left to blame! He said that
Skye hadn't done that to him, she had!

THE GIFT

Renee had a personal gift to give Ben, and it was her lucky silver
dollar. It had been her 'last dollar' back in her Vegas days and she had
played the slots with it. She won the jackpot, and unfortunately, so had
the man who played before her so the only thing she won was her own
dollar back! Luckily for her, the proprietor of the club had observed the
whole thing and he offered her a job as a hostess. The rest of the story
was 'history' as they say! That silver dollar had been lucky for her ever
since and now she wanted Ben to have it. Ben said he would keep it close
to his heart. Renee said he had been a real friend to her and she hoped
he thought the same of her. He said that he did, and more also.

MOB BAR

Asa told Joey and Kevin he had told Rourke to stay away from them! They
were furious that Asa had been involved and Joe said they would fight
him! He told Asa to stay away from them!

ROOM SERVICE

Skye told Rae she had never given Max away and she hadn't hurt him! She
said Asa had noticed Rae's sudden interest in his boy and she was
jeopardizing him! She maintained that Rae thought she could just step in
and play mom to protect Max from Skye! It was ridiculous, as the only
ones he needed protection from were Blair and Rae herself!

EVILDOER & JR. MISS!

Starr attempted to take her doctor's 'ear's' and listen against the wall
to see what Max and Mommy were talking about! Todd told her she didn't
need to do that anymore because he already knew what they were talking
about! She wondered if it was Mommy's revenge but Todd said no, that it
was his!

.GOES THE WEASEL

Max told Blair she had found the small string that had unraveled his
entire world and he wanted to know 'why'! She broke into sobs and tried
to tell him it had been an accident! She had written those things when he
was sleeping with Skye, and then while she was waiting, a miracle
happened. Max began to love her again and she realized that she loved him
too. She tried to stop the virus, and it wasn't supposed to be on every
computer because Todd had promised her! Max was incredulous that she had
placed his future in the hands of a madman!

SERENITY SPRINGS

Viki said it seemed that Renee had taken a shine to Ben, and she said she
really liked him a lot! He was a good man, and in some ways, he reminded
Renee of herself! Viki admitted that he 'was' very much like Renee!

FINAL MOMENTS.

Ben answered the door and found Joey holding his brother up! Rourke's
errand boy had beaten them up and Asa had blown their cover! Kevin asked
Ben to cover up the marks so their mom wouldn't find out about it.

Asa sat at the mob bar with the man he hired to kill Ben Davidson. The
hitter was angry because he felt Asa was going to lead the cops straight
to him by showing up there and bothering him! Asa was angry because he
was paying cash and he wanted the job to be done that very day! He didn't
want Viki to be a widow; he didn't want her to get married at all!

Blair blubbered as she told Max that her computer nerd hadn't been able
to fix things for her. She said she loved him and wanted to spend the
rest of her life with him! He said she wouldn't be spending the rest of
the day with him and he told her to 'Get Out'!
