Roseanne pads to the hotel room door and quietly removes the 'Do Not Disturb
' sign. She slips back into bed, and into Antonio's arms. Meanwhile, Sophia
prepares to leave the Carriage House. Spying the note she left to herself to
deliver Roseanne's date book, she picks it up and heads out. Arriving at
Roseanne's room, Sophia knocks. Hearing no reply, she opens the door and
stares in shock at the sight of Antonio and Roseanne in bed together. She
silently exits and bursts into tears. Moments later, she re-enters the room.
"Here's your date book," she mutters, as she flings it onto a desk. Tonio
jumps up and dresses as hastily as possible. Although Roseanne insists that
Sophia is fine, Tonio runs after her. He has to make sure he hasn't messed
with his partner, he tells Roseanne, as he muses about whether Sophia might
have feelings for him after all. Once alone, Roseanne rehearses a speech in
which she tries to explain to Sophia why she needed her to know the truth.

Back at the Carriage House, Joey is sifting through a box of photographs
when Sophia comes storming in. She accuses him of setting her up with his
bad advice to take things slow with Antonio. She reveals that she just found
him in bed with Roseanne, so he's obviously ready to move on. When Joey
tries to calm her, she retorts that he's "no expert on love." Joey proceeds
to tear up a picture of himself and Kelly. Sophia is immediately contrite
and apologizes for her harsh words, but Joey admits that he's not the right
one to listen to. He suggests that she do the opposite of anything he tells
her, meaning that she should divulge her feelings to Antonio. As she ponders
this, Tonio appears at the door. Joey lets him in, then makes himself
scarce. Tonio asks Sophia if she's okay. Putting on a brave front, Sophia
assures him she's fine - she was simply surprised. She quizzes him as to how
long this has been going on, and he responds "not long." They're all still
friends, right? Sophia tries to let him know that there could be more
between them, but he assumes she means their working partnership. Reassured
that her new-found knowledge doesn't change a thing, Tonio leaves. Sophia
bursts into tears yet again.

Joey can't believe that Sophia didn't take the opportunity to clue Tonio in
on her feelings. She's still got her pride, Sophia states, and she's not
going to throw herself at Antonio. If it's Roseanne he wants, he can have
her, she declares, a hint of defiance in her voice. Meanwhile, Antonio
returns to Roseanne's room and informs her that she was right. Sophia was
cool with everything.

At Dorian's, Kelly is sleeping. Kevin enters her room, stares at her, then
approaches the bed and sits at her side. As if aware of his eyes upon her,
Kelly wakes up. The duo share a kiss that quickly becomes passionate, but
Kelly pulls away. She explains to Kevin that her divorce isn't final yet,
and she doesn't want them to make love while she's still married to Joey.
Kevin is understanding, and tells her he admires her decision. They kiss
some more, only to be interrupted by the ringing of Kevin's cell phone. He
listens for a few minutes, then informs Kelly that they have an appointment
with Rourke. Kevin waits as Kelly transforms herself into 'Theresa'. He
signals his approval of her outfit with yet another passionate kiss, and
they prepare to play their parts.

Over at the Buchanan mansion, Max is combing his hair in preparation for the
day. He gets distracted when Blair, clad in only a towel, emerges from the
bathroom. Their kissing quickly leads to lovemaking. As they're lying in
bed, Max senses that Blair is troubled. She admits that she's worried
because it's taking them so long to get pregnant. Max suggests she relax.
"It'll happen when it happens," he advises. Blair confesses that, at first,
she wanted a baby to keep him away from Skye, but now, it's about so much
more. The twosome begin to kiss again, but she stuns him by asking if it
felt the same when he made love to Skye. "Forget about Skye," Max implores,
as he reminds Blair that his relationship with Ms. Chandler is over. After
more reassurance, they make love again.

Ben and Viki enter the Palace Restaurant. After sharing a kiss, they cross
paths with Skye. Ben places his hands protectively on Viki's shoulders, then
leads her to a table as Skye looks on, her expression forlorn. Todd, tucked
away at a table hidden from view, takes everything in.

Moments later, Asa arrives. Renee pours him a cup of coffee, but shares no
conversation with him. He lays out an old copy of the Sun - the one with Ben
and Viki on the front page - on the table before him. He glares across the
room at the duo, then briefly locks eyes with Todd. The latter gets up and
approaches Ben and Viki as they're talking to Renee. Viki spots Todd, but
she turns away. Ben, on the other hand, stares unflinchingly at Todd.

"Excuse us," Viki tells Todd. He responds that he waited long enough for her
to come over to his table, so when she didn't, he came to hers. She can't
possibly imagine why he thought she'd stop by. To apologize, he declares.
Viki is incredulous, given that he splashed her cancer and her love life all
over the front page of his paper. It was payback, Todd retorts coldly. "Do
you want to talk to him?" Ben asks Viki. She surprises him by replying that
she does - in private. Reminding Viki that he's there for her if she needs
him, Ben watches her walk across the room with her brother. On their way,
Todd inquires what the deal is with the redhead - meaning Skye. Viki coolly
informs Todd that she and Ben have dealt with Skye. Viki adds that she wants
Todd to leave her and Ben alone. Then she has to get Ben to leave him alone,
Todd counters. Viki is surprised to learn that Ben paid Todd an office
visit. If Ben backs off, he'll try to do the same, Todd offers. Viki, having
had her fill of Todd, walks away.

Todd immediately approaches Skye. He wants to talk about Ben, but she's not
interested. Todd insists that he has an offer she can't refuse.

Renee attempts to serve Ben some coffee, but she's distracted by Asa and
spills the beverage. Ben encourages her to ignore Asa, then he gives her a
comforting hug. Asa storms over. "Take your hands off my wife," he demands
of Ben. The latter urges Asa to back off, but Asa accuses Ben of turning his
entire family against him. He thinks Asa is fingering the wrong man, Ben
counters. The elder Buchanan stalks off as Viki rejoins the group. Despite
the disruption, Renee insists that she wants to help Ben and Viki plan their
wedding, and she heads off in search of her appointment book.

Asa calls Max, ranting about the fact that B&B United has stolen another
company from Buchanan Enterprises. It has to end, he spits, as Todd
overhears. Asa stares at his copy of the Sun, but the headline suddenly
changes to "Mob Rubs Out Ex-Doc." A grin spreads across Asa's face as he
eyes Ben and Viki.

Back at the Sun, Todd is apprised of Skye's arrival. Turning his back to the
office door, Todd fakes a call that makes it appear there is trouble in Max
and Blair's marriage. As he hangs up, he faces Skye and lies to her that Max
has been calling out her name in his sleep. Skye wonders why he's telling
her this. "I want Max on a slow boat to China," Todd admits, as he urges her
to go after Max. Skye is curious as to this sudden change of heart. Does he
want Blair? He swears they're ancient history. Skye opines that Max and
Blair won't last, given that Max is still attracted to her. She expresses
interest in the offer he mentioned earlier. "I'm looking for a vindictive,
venomous reporter," he informs her. Skye assumes they can work out all the
pesky little details. "Money's no object," Todd states, cutting to the
chase. Then they have a deal, Skye declares. As Skye heads out to talk to
Briggs, Todd stops her with a query. What's up with Max and Ben? Skye
wonders about his sudden interest in Max, and denies knowledge of any
connection between the two men. Deciding not to push any further at that
moment, Todd offers Skye a welcome to the paper, and quips that they can
make a lot of enemies together. Blair walks in. Her eyes practically shoot
daggers at the pair before her.

Still at the Palace, Ben asks Viki if Todd misbehaved. He wouldn't dare, not
after Ben's visit, she answers. Ben admits that, after the headline Todd
printed, he had to pay the man a call. He adds that Todd's "having lots of
trouble with employees." The implication is clear, and he wonders how it
makes her feel. Viki responds that, although she's been fighting her own
battles for years, it's nice to have help. Ben promises that, if Todd acts
up again, he'll receive another visit. "Okey dokey, partner," Viki quips.
Moments later, Ben tells Viki that he has a confession to make. He reveals
that he's been helping Kevin and Kelly infiltrate the Rourke family. "That's
a crime family," Viki states, before asking whose idea it was. Kevin's, Ben
declares. He tried to talk Kevin out of it, and failed, while Kevin was
similarly unsuccessful with Kelly, Ben adds. It's very dangerous, isn't it?
Viki muses. Ben agrees, but notes that Kevin and Kelly were going to pursue
this with or without his help, so he figured with was better. Viki expresses
her gratitude that he's looking out for her son, knowing how much he hates
'the life'. He explains that he's been reminded of how much he dislikes the
people involved, and that the feeling is mutual. Viki's fear is apparent as
Ben outlines his meeting with Rourke. Although she's pleased that Kevin and
Kelly won't be operating without backup, she's also worried. "Who's going to
keep you safe?"

Asa enters the bar where Rourke and his entourage hang out. He informs the
waiter that he's there to see Rourke, and insists that he'll wait. Moments
later, Rourke joins Asa. The mobster wants to know what business they have
together. Asa unfolds his copy of the Sun and points to Ben. "He's my
problem. I want him taken care of. Permanently."
