<<< BACK TO RECAPS  INDEX

Serenity Springs

Cristian is lifting weights at the spa.  As he pushes himself harder and harder, he replays his telephone conversation with Will over and over in his head.  Will had told him that he knew how Cris had tricked him and that now Jess would know too.  Will's voice repeats "I win",  again and again.  A frustrated Cris heads toward to the punching bag to blow off some steam.

Lad & Lassie

Will wakes in the cemetery and can't find Jessica.  Moments later she returns with breakfast for the two of them.  He tells Jess that he can't believe that she is actually there with him.  He then recounts an anecdote about the altar nearby, how when two people meet at the alter, they fall in love.  Jess explains to Will that she has come to find him and set the record straight.  Now she knows why he felt he had to leave.  She had needed to see him with her own two eyes to make sure that he was ok.  Will tells her that he is grateful to her for coming and that he's better now.  Jessica informs Will that she is now going to go back home.

The Penthouse

Roseanne and Todd are still going at it, as Antonio and Sophia try to sort things out.  Roseanne laments that she came down and found Todd sitting in the living room 'like he owned the place'.  "I do own the place," Todd snaps.  He recounts that he has gone off on an extended vacation and come back to find squatters in the house.  Roseanne reminds Todd that he never went on vacation; he had to leave before he was run out.  Tea had given her the penthouse.  "You do remember Tea, don't you?"  she wonders.  Antonio has had enough of Todd and his antics.  He tells Todd that he is under arrest for breaking and entering, while Sophia cuffs him and reads him his rights.

The Police Station

Sam and Bo continue their conversation regarding Matthew's paternity.  Sam tells Bo that he feels certain that Matthew is his son.  "But not 100%?" asks Bo.  Sam explains that he wants to tell Nora the unequivocal truth.  She has the right to know who Matthew's biological father is, especially with her life being full of so many uncertainties.  Bo wants to know how soon this will come about.  "Today,"  Sam suggests.

Nora's Hospital Room

Lindsay enters Nora's room, telling her that it is good to see her looking so much better and how glad she is that they have a chance to be alone.  A startled Nora looks questioningly at Lindsay.

The Palace Bar

Renee is having a frustrated phone conversation with a repairman who refuses to come and repair her glass dryer.  She slams down the phone and decides to do it herself.  As she begins her task, she looks up to see Rae sitting across the room and looking bewildered.  She tells Rae that  she looks like she could use a friendly shoulder.  Rae tells Renee that it looks as though she has enough trouble of her own. "I ran a brother in Nevada and I've been married to Asa Buchanan; those are problems, this is merely an inconvenience," smiles Renee.  W With that, Rae heads over to the bar area and begins to explain her troubles.  She shows Renee the file of responses to her column about her daughter.  She has been going through them again and has come up with absolutely nothing.  Renee wants to know if Rae is planning to give up.  Rae admits that she is more in the dark now than ever; now she doesn't even know if she has a daughter or a son.  She's afraid that she might have to give up, unless she finds a reason to go on.

Nora's Hospital Room

Lindsay wants to know if Nora remembers her.  She looks relieved when Nora tells her that she remembers her being at Sam's house; she knows her name and her face, but doesn't remember her.  Nora asks Lindsay if they were friends.  Lindsay says that they have been through a lot together, like planning a Thanksgiving dinner that turned into a food fight, a case of Matthew's Croup and surviving a fire at RJ's club.  She offers to help Nora 'fill in the blanks' about her life.  Nora says that that is a relief; everybody else is tiptoeing around her, afraid to tell her anything.  Lindsay wants to know where she should start.  "Tell me about Bo," Nora says.

The Police Station

Bo agrees that today would be a good time to have the paternity test done.  Sam points out that they may even be able to have the test results in a few hours.  Hank and RJ come to the door.  Sam and Bo ask about Nora and wonder if there have been any changes.  RJ taunts that the good news is that she doesn't remember Bo.  She only remembers people she cares about.  Bo wants to know if she needs anything.  RJ rails that she needed to be saved from a train wreck, but Bo wasn't there for her then.  Hank pulls RJ out of the office, but while Bo is closing the office door, RJ hears the two men talking about a paternity test.

The Palace Bar

The two women continue their conversation while Renee works on the dryer.  Rae wants to know if Renee ever felt like she wanted to give up looking for her child.  Renee explains that she never started.  She had given her son up at birth and never looked for him, knowing that he had a good family.  When she remarried Asa, she decided to tell him the truth about their son.  Rae asks if she ever wondered about her son in all those years.  Renee tells Rae that she prayed daily and even had nightmares about him.  As Renee finishes up her work with Rae's help, she comments that the two of them make a great team and offers to pay Rae for her services.  Rae asks if she can ask about the nightmares instead.  She wants to know what they were about.  They were mostly about any trouble that he might get into that she couldn't help with Renee tells Rae.  Rae states that it must be a relief to know that her son is safe and well.  Renee has to agree, but says that Max didn't turn out to be the son she expected.

Serenity Springs

Blair stops Cristian as he pummels the punching bag.  She tells him that getting even won't work.  She suggests that he try relaxation instead.  Cris tells her that she was right - love stinks.  All you have to do is screw up once and you're out the door.  She tells Cris not to lock the door behind him and reminds him that he had told her to try and weather the storm in her relationship with Max.  She invites Cris to join her in meditation.  He declines, telling her that he wants nothing to do with  peace, tranquility and weathering storms.  He is through with Jessica.

Lad & Lassie

Jess tells Will that she needs to go back home to her mother and that she has plans to go back to school.  He says that he intends to come back, someday, and be a part of her life.  She admits that she would like for him to be able to come home and that he should never lose hope.  She promises that she will find a way for them to keep in touch.  Will tells her that he doesn't think it will be possible, he had taken the risk this time because it was worth it - she needed to know the truth and Sam needed to know about Nora.  "What about Nora?" Jess wants to know.  Will tells Jess that Nora is alive, but Todd found her and didn't bring her home.

The Police Station

Sam and Bo can be heard talking secretly about something;  they mention setting someone up.  Sophia and Antonio bring a handcuffed Todd into the station.  RJ comments that Ponch and Judy have brought the right man in in shackles this time.  Todd tells RJ that he is a sore winner.  Roseanne, Todd and RJ are all going at it at once, when Bo comes out and demands to know what is going on; there is no need for a screaming match.  Todd tries to explain that he was in his own home, while Roseanne begs to differ. Bo tells Antonio and Sophia to write up the case and bring him the report.  He then goes into his office and calls Melanie, leaving her a message that he wants to see her.

The Hospital

Larry tells Mel that she has been granted hospital privileges there.  When she thanks him, he explains that it was on Vicky's recommendation.  She asks if there has been any change in Nora's condition.  He tells her that there has been no change and that he is baffled.  They look over the test results together.

Nora's Hospital Room

Lindsay wants to know what made Nora ask about Bo.  She tells her that Rachel had said they were close and that Bo had been by to visit her.  Lindsay tells Nora that she can see that all of this is upsetting her and that maybe she should wait - that she needs to get better.  She asks Nora what's wrong.  Nora explains that her head is in a fog that she can't see through.  She wants to remember things now.

The Hospital

Melanie asks Larry if he has considered running more specific tests, those that might point out a drug toxicity or something of the like.  He agrees that that would be a good idea.

Nora's Hospital Room

Lindsay tells Nora that she and Bo had called a truce.  Nora wants to know if they had been fighting.  Lindsay explains that they had a scratchy relationship a long time ago, but Bo has since mellowed.  She wonders why Nora would want to dredge up memories of Bo when she didn't really like him anymore.

Serenity Springs

Cris has now started jumping rope and Blair wants to know what has happened.  He tells her that he doesn't want to get into it.  Blair tells Cris that he is a saint; she would never have stood for the way Jess had played with he and Will.  Cris is curious about how she got over the triangle with she, Max and Skye.  "Who says I'm over it?" she retorts, "I could never forgive Max."  She continues, saying that no matter how mad he makes her, she was lying to herself when she said that she didn't love him.  In fact, she only wanted him more.  She tells Cris that she is giving him another chance.  Cris says that he and Jess have run out of chances already.  He doesn't know when he will see her again.

The Police Station

Todd tells Sam, his lawyer, that he never signed the deed to the penthouse over to Tea.  Sam tells him that they can clear this all up if he just produces the deed, which of course, Todd cannot do.  Sam tells Todd that he needs to at least give Roseanne some notice; he can't just throw her out.  "I'm here," quips Todd, "she noticed."

Sam's cell phone rings and it's Jessica calling.  When he asks her to call back, she says that she can't, as she is out of the country with his client.  He immediately wants to know how his client is doing and Jess reassures him.  She then asks about Nora and Sam confirms that she is back.  Sam tells her to tell his client that he is still his number one priority and that he is working on his case.  Jessica promises that she will call Sam again.

Todd is told that he is free to go; the incident regarding the penthouse is a civil matter.  He is annoyed that he'll be spending another night away from 'his' bed.  Bo asks Todd if there is any reason that he shouldn't be suspicious of his involvement in finding Nora.  Todd starts to spin a smart-aleky tale, but Sam interrupts, saying that Todd had been nothing but supportive and hadn't given him and reasons not to trust him.

Nora's Hospital Room

Melanie comes in and Lindsay informs her that Nora is doing much better; she has been helping her fill in the blanks.  She tells Nora that Melanie is her little sister, which makes Nora think that she has forgotten Melanie, too.  Melanie assures her that they had never met previously and Nora is glad to have a clean slate.

Larry comes in to take Nora off for more tests.  Once she is gone, Melanie tells Lindsay that she doesn't like the garbage that she was feeding Nora.  She doesn't know what Lindsay is trying to do, but she warns her that it won't work.  Lindsay argues that she was telling Nora the truth.  Melanie is sure that Lindsay was slanting it.  She points out that Nora is confused enough already.  Lindsay counters that there is no way that Melanie can like Nora; she can feel sorry for her and have compassion for her, but she certainly can't like her after knowing everything that she has done to Lindsay.  Melanie tells Lindsay that those problems shouldn't matter any more and that she shouldn't be telling Nora stories.  She reminds Lindsay that she and Bo have moved further apart.  Lindsay argues that they were great when they were in love, but now Nora is back muddying up the waters.  Melanie tells Lindsay that she doesn't think she'll ever get Bo back.  "Why would you say that?" asks Lindsay, "Is there something else to get in my way?"

The Police Station

Sam assures Todd that the matter of the penthouse is merely a formality, and suggests that Todd try having some compassion.  Todd agrees to give Roseanne 24 hours to get out.  When Sam gives him a questioning look, he responds, "All right, 25."

RJ bursts in on the conversation, quipping that Todd Manning has struck again.  He criticizes Todd for blundering in and out of trouble and tells him that his luck has run out and that he intends to collect on his personal grievances with Todd.  Bo warns RJ to back off and tells him that there are other ways of making people pay.  This only serves to launch RJ into an attack on Bo, telling him that if he had done his job in the first place, Todd never would have gotten to Tea.  Hank tells RJ that they need proof and RJ retorts that that should be the job of the police department.  An angry RJ tells Bo that he deserves to get what he wants and then have it taken away, which is exactly what has happened to him.

Serenity Springs

Blair tells Cris that Max knows about Jess going to look for Will and that he is going to use Jess to find him.  Cris wants to know how Max will know where she is and Blair tells him not to worry, that Max will find her.  Will will be caught and Jess will be back home, free as a bird.  Cris reminds Blair of what he has said about he and Jessica and tells her that he meant it.

The Palace Bar

Renee tells Rae that no son could measure up to the perfect son that she had imagined.  Rae agrees that she has imagined her child at least a million times, although it is hard to picture him/her as an adult.  Rae worries that her child may still need a mother, may still need her.  Renee jokes that she believes that you take care for your children until they need to take care of you.  Rae admits that it haunts her that her child may be in trouble, may need her help.  The not knowing is very hard on her.  As Renee starts up the glass dryer, the two comment that it's too bad that children aren't more like machines.  You can't just pick the right tool to fix things, or give them away or do without them.  Rae admits that she will never be able to stop searching for her child; she will need to know until the day she dies.  Renee hesitates for a moment and then tells Rae that Max isn't really her son, that he could belong to Rae.

Lad & Lassie

Will comments that it seems that Todd has done what he promised to do after all.  Jess is still amazed that Nora is alive.  Will thanks her for coming and asks her not to leave yet.  He wants to have some time to be alone with her.  He promises not to touch her or hassle her, but says that he needs to know she can trust him again.  He wants the chance to make things right.

The Penthouse

Cris shows up at the penthouse while Roseanne is cleaning up Todd's mess.  He tells her that he has changed his mind, he would like the money that she offered him.  He needs to go and look for Jessica.

Serenity Springs

Blair is meditating, trying to hold positive thoughts and looking for the answers she needs.  Todd shows up and wants to know what her questions are.

The Police Station

Hank admits to Bo that he is worried about how RJ will take out his anger on him.  Bo appreciates Hank's concern, but tells Hank that he can't be looking over his shoulder all the time.

Sam returns and Bo wants to know if things are all set.  Yes, Sam is going to go by home and pick up Matthew, then meet Bo at the lab.  The two men shake hands.

The Hospital

Larry and Nora are talking about her upcoming session with the psychologist.  Nora admits that she is afraid she might not remember anything.  Larry assures her that the sessions are meant to help bring her memory out.

Nora's Hospital Room

Lindsay reminds Melanie of how much she loves Bo, saying that she can't live without him.  Melanie points out that Lindsay has been without him for quite some time; what they had is over.  She tells Lindsay that things between she and Bo aren't over because of Nora or because of her. "What does this have to do with you?  You're not with Bo,' Lindsay marvels.  "I want to be," Melanie answers.
