'A LITTLE KITTY WOKE ME!'

"Meow!" said Todd into Viki's ear, startling her out of sleep on the
library couch. She jumped up and found Todd in the room. He told her that
Will had left the trio, and that Jessica would be coming home.

PIN THE TAIL ON CRIS!

Jess told Cris how she had misjudged Will so badly, and was lucky to have
Cris to count on. She reminded them of how he had been ready to marry
her, when she was pregnant with Will's child. Cris told her that it was
'her' baby, that was all he needed to know. Jess said that she had always
loved him and that she always would.

'POOL TABLE MASSACRE'

Colin entered Crossroads in time to pry Joey and his pool cue from
Kevin's neck. Kelly screamed in Joey's face, demanding to know if he was
'crazy', that he could have killed Kevin!

NORA AND THE LETTER STRUGGLES

Nora saw that Colin had left his outgoing mail on the chest at the foot
of the bed. She saw one was addressed to Melanie MacIver, and decided to
write her a note. She asked 'Lanie' for her help, even though she didn't
'know' her. She asked her to send a note to Bo or Sam to let her go home,
please!

As she signed her name she realized how far she would have to physically
move in order to get her note into the envelope. She struggled for what
seemed like ages, until she heard the door open downstairs. She silently
begged Colin not to 'come in now', but it wasn't Colin. It was Will.

MATTHEW'S 'FAMILY GATHERING'

Matthew and Sam were reading a book together as Bo watched over them,
through the window. His fever was still at 103 degrees. Bo asked what
they were doing for him, and Sam told him sponge baths, I.V.s and
liquids. Bo asked if that was 'enough'. Sam said it was, unless he had a
seizure...

Asa and Max showed up, and Asa called Sam a 'shyster'. He said that if it
were up to Sam, he would let the kid die! Bo told him to leave, but Asa
asked what if Matthew had something 'genetic'! He headed into the boys
room, but Sam stood and blocked his path. Asa told him that the boy was
not his son, that his only son was the escaped convict! He said he had
found a judge and could get a court order to do an immediate DNA test!

VIKI AS THE 'DOUBTING THOMAS'

Viki expressed her disbelief that Jessica would give up on Will, that she
wouldn't break her promise to Will! 'Why?' she asked Todd, who told her
maybe Will had broken his promise to Jessica! Why, Viki asked again, not
trusting Todd. He said 'Jess is home, Sam knows Will is safe'. Viki asked
him to stop what he was doing, what had he done to change Jessica's mind?
She warned him that if he did anything to hurt Jessica, that she would
never forgive him...

JESS AND HER MARRIED MAN...

Jess said that she'd made the choice to love Cris, that he was the only
one. That Will was gone! Cris told her that she was hurt and angry. He
didn't want her to love him because she couldn't have Will, but because
she couldn't help loving him. Jessica asked Cris to make love to her. She
began removing Cris' shirt, and they wound up entwined, on the floor...

KEVIN - KELLY - JOEY- COLIN

Colin asked and Kevin maintained that he was 'fine'. Joey tried to leave
but Colin told him that he was one of his mother's doctors. He said that
the last thing she needed right now was to have one of her son's in  an
accident! He asked him not to drive home. Kelly walked over and said she
was his 'wife' and he reacted violently, telling her never to say those
words! He gave her Sophia's keys to close up and said that both she and
Kevin could 'go to hell!' He told Kelly that they were finished!

RAPPAPORT VS. BUCHANAN GANG

Bo told Max that it 'wasn't his fight', or any of his business! Bo argued
with Asa, and said that if Matthew was his, he wouldn't let Asa near him!
Bo said he was speaking for himself and Nora, that she was gone because
of Asa and his framing of Will! Nora was 'gone on that train', and he
wasn't about to let Asa harm a hair on Matthew's head!

KEVIN'S PAINFUL EXIT...

Kelly asked Kevin why he went after Joey, because he couldn't handle it
right now! Kevin said he couldn't fight back, he wanted Joey to get it
out of him.  Anguished, he said he couldn't hurt his brother anymore! He
told Kelly that he was going home, alone. He said maybe it was his
sentence, not to have the person he loved. He said  he was sorry, that
'everyone had gotten a hurt on this one'. Then he was gone. Behind the
bar, Colin wiped his hands on a towel...

'LEAVE A MESSAGE AT THE TONE'

Nora managed to get the note into the envelope, but in slowly returning
to her original position a book fell to the floor. Will started for the
stairs, calling out for Lanie, when the phone rang. He turned as the
answering machine picked up, and when no one took the call,  assumed no
one was home. He sat in the living room, and fell asleep in a chair.

HOSPITAL 'GREENS'...

Bo yelled at his 'pa' that he would let Sam keep the child before he
would allow Asa to turn him into 'his version' of a Buchanan! Max took
Asa's arm, as he told him that they 'would see who had the law on their
side'...

'IT'S A QUARTER TO THREE'...

Kelly and Colin were alone as he gave her a brandy and offered to 'talk'.
He tried to make her laugh, reciting silly quotes until she asked him if
he were going to sing! She asked why he was being so nice to her, because
she didn't deserve it. Colin said that she didn't create the situation on
her own, that sometimes 'it took two, or even three'... When she asked
him if he'd 'been there', he told her he had. Colin said that if she ever
wanted to talk... Kelly smiled and gave the keys to  Colin, to close up.

THE RAPTURE OF LOVE

Cris and Jess were happy in each other's arms. Cris said they would have
to go home in the morning. That they would face everything, together.
Jess didn't know how they were going to 'get' home and sensed something
else in Cris' demeanor. When she asked him what was wrong, he told her
that he had made Todd tell him. It was about her mother. She was a lot
worse than anyone thought...

LLANFAIR LIBRARY 'PERSONALITIES?'

Viki asked Todd why Jessica wasn't with him. He said it was because he
was 'wanted' and it wouldn't be good for her! She wondered how he'd
gotten Jess to change her mind and he told her that he'd just made sure
everything happened. She said she needed to see Jess, and she didn't want
Todd involved! He feigned anger at this and when she asked him where Jess
was, he told her to get "Dr. Beefcake" to find her! He slammed the doors
shut, smiled, and said he'd 'fooled her'. He sat down on the staircase
and began playing a handheld videogame. He said to no one "I'll win. I
always win." He smiled...

COLIN'S LATE VISIT TO NORA...

As Colin checking his answering machine, Will slept in the living room
chair unnoticed. He went up to Nora, who said he looked tired. He told
her he'd had a patient, an emergency, but didn't tell her it had been
Matthew. He asked why she wasn't sleeping and she asked him how she could
sleep with all his 'comings and goings'. They both heard a noise and
Colin went to check on it but returned, saying that they were alone.

FINAL MOMENTS...

Sam sang a song to Matthew and gave him apple juice as Bo watched with
concern from the window...

Will woke up and went into the basement of Colin's house. He sat down and
wondered aloud 'who' Scarlet was?
