Bo met Melanie at the park, where he told her that there would be no new
DNA test for Sam. He said he understood Sam's position completely. When
questioned by Melanie, Bo admitted that his feelings for Lindsay had
changed. He did love her at one time, he still wanted all the best for
her, but he did not love her anymore, not now...

THE BAD PENNY

Lindsay turned up at Sam's and he told her he didn't want her in his
house, he wanted her to leave! She said she was looking for her sister.
Sam told her he wasn't about to be her personal answering service, so
Lindsay went inside to write a note. Viki stopped by to speak with Sam
about Todd, and as Lindsay left, told her that she knew for certain Will was 'okay'.

'FOR THE LOVE OF TODD!'

Viki told Sam she knew that Todd had asked him for his help. They both
admitted to 'loving Todd', but agreed that love scared him, he'd always
take pot shots at whoever loved him. Sam said he thought they should try
'tough love', but Viki said she didn't think she could do it. She loved
her brother, in spite of everything. Sam said giving up on Todd was 'like
giving up on a child,' the one he could never help. Viki said she knew
that Todd needed their love, she shuddered to think what might happen if
they didn't give him that love...

TODD'S ATTEMPT TO 'FREE WILLY!'

Todd explained that Will was using his position to keep Jessica with him
and not with her mother, where she belonged. He gave Will money and told
him he could get him out of the country, ironically, to a safe little
'Bed & Breakfast' in Ireland... That Sam had asked him to look out for Will...

'BABY OF MINE, BABY DIVINE'

Ben found Renee at a table in the hotel lounge by herself, crying. Renee
wondered how Ben knew Max was not her real son. He confessed to knowing
about it for some time. Renee confessed that she'd known since the day
Max had his accident. Renee wanted to know what Ben intended to do with
the information, wondered why he hadn't used it to destroy Asa. Ben said
because it would hurt Renee too, and he wouldn't do that...

Renee asked Ben to help her find her baby, that she'd hired a detective
and it had gotten her 'nowhere'. Ben told her he was sorrier than she
would ever know, that she could 'ask him for anything', and he'd do it,
but he couldn't  help her find her son...

REVENGE IS  'SWEET'?

Meanwhile...at another table close by, R.J. entered followed closely by
Roseanne. He had champagne and Roseanne wanted to know the reason for the
celebration. He said it was for Life, and Happiness and Revenge! Roseanne
proposed giving up on revenge. She knew what it was like to want to hurt
someone, but that it was never worth the cost in the end. R.J. told her
she should wait until Her "heart was scar tissue pumping out grief" and
see how she felt! She wanted to know what 'more' Bo could possibly have
to lose! R.J. bitterly informed her that there was Always 'more'...

'GET OUT OF JAIL FREE' CARD?

Hank dropped by the park to see Nora's plaque and found Bo and Melanie.
Bo asked Hank for the favor of giving Lindsay 'immunity' so that she
could testify to Barnes' having tampered with the evidence without having
to serve jail time. Hank said they would have to prove 'tampering' and
that's where Lindsay's testimony would come in. He said it was a case of
'criminal bribery' , that he'd have to compromise himself and his
position as D.A.! Bo said that if Sam knew Lindsay was protected, maybe
he could get another  DNA test. He told Hank, Lindsay did try to fix it,
but they don't know what Barnes did! As a personal favor to Bo, Hank said
he would try...

'WILLY' SLIPPED HIS LEASH...

Will threw the money at Todd and stated his lack of trust in him, that
Todd couldn't be there on behalf of his father! His father stood for all
the things that Todd wasn't! Todd claimed he didn't care for Will at all,
that he was doing all of this just because Sam had been like a 'father'
to him, which irritated Will so much that he stormed out of the room.

"SAINT LINDSAY"

At the park, Melanie told Lindsay that Bo might not get his son because
of what she'd done. She said that she would admit to her crime. Bo said
he couldn't do it, that he would get it out of Barnes some other way, get
him to make a mistake or something. When Bo said he had to go, Lanie
turned to Lindsay and told her she'd just given them all a line of
'bull'! She told Lindsay that she wouldn't let her get away with it this
time because she wouldn't let her!

WILL THE GREEN-EYED GIANT!

Will, finding Cris and Jess outside in an embrace, began a verbal attack
on Cris. He claimed Cris was using Viki's illness as an excuse to 'hit on
Jess' and then he punched Cris. They got into a fight & the hotel manager
came out and said he was going to call the police. Todd stepped in and
rescued them with a story about Jess' being the 'Princess of Canada' and
gave the man some money. He left with a bow. Todd shrugged, turned to
Will and said "Yeah, you guys can get along just fine without me, sure!"


At the Palace Hotel lounge, Bo met up with Ben. Ben told him that Renee
deserved better than to be the wife of Asa Buchanan. He mentioned Max as
a 'brother' and Bo said he'd had the brother he'd always wanted, Clint,
but that he was gone now...

'SISTERLY LOVE'

Lanie turned on Lindsay with venom as to the 'martyr routine' she was
using with Bo! She wanted to know just how much Lindsay intended to put
Bo through! Lindsay wondered why Lanie wasn't on 'her side', and why she
was so worried about Bo! What was he to Melanie? Melanie looked directly
in her sister's eyes and told her that maybe it was about time she found out!

CLOSING MOMENTS...

Roseanne, at R.J.'s table, asked not to be 'let in on' what he was going
to do to Bo, and not to be made any part of it...

Renee smiled up at Ben through her tears and asked if he would be her
'good luck charm'...

Will announced to Cris, Todd and Jess that he was leaving, without
Jessica!

As he sat at the hotel bar having a beer, Bo spied R.J. sitting at a
table, smirking in his direction...
