BEN AND VIKI DISCUSS JESSICA'S PREDICAMENT:

Ben promises to continue in persuading Jessica to return home. Tells Viki that he may have an ally in Max, thinking that Max will do anything to prevent Asa from knowing that Ben is his real son.
 

JESSICA, STUCK IN THE MIDDLE AGAIN:

Jessica and Will return to the motel after spending the night under the stars; Cristan pretends to not be bothered by it.  Jessica leaves momentarily, and Cristan and Will conversation turns into a recap of all the events leading up to their new status of fugitives of justice. Jessica enters, makes them shake hands and be friends.
 

ASA BEGINS THE BEGUINE:

Asa looks on as  Kelly Buchanan, as well as Viki Lord Buchanan, are served subpoenas for libel. Joey lists all the family members alienated by Asa's actions, placing himself next on the list. Viki refuses to settle with Asa, who takes advantage of Ben's presence to attack Viki.
 

BO - TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING:

Bo goes over to Sam's house to discuss R.J.'s case against him; Lainie thanks Bo for his input on her life. She tells him that she signed the divorce papers. Lindsay arrives, thinking Bo has decided to confront Sam with the possibility that Matthew is not his son. Bo tells her again that now is not the right time.
 

KELLY ENRAGED, BUT AT WHOM?:

Kelly, on her way to the Banner, receives a message from a courier. The message states that 'someone' can't do without her, and should meet her at the hotel suite. Kelly is so angered by this, that when Kevin shows up, she slaps him. Kevin, denies sending the message, leaving Kelly to realize that the message was from Joey. She painfully confesses that she wanted the message to come from Kevin.
 

LINDSAY TAKES FURTHER ADVANTAGE:

While Bo talks with Sam, Lainie enters. Lindsay is a little defensive, especially after Colin tells her that Lainie and Bo knew each other prior to her introducing them.  Lindsay recovers, and tries again to keep Lainie and Colin together. Lainie tells her that it's too late. While playing with Matthew, Lainie notices that Matthew has been scratching his face. Lindsay sees an opportunity and takes it. She cuts Matthew's fingernails.
 

WILL AND CRISTAN BOSOM BUDDIES?:

After Jessica makes Cristan and Will apologize to each other, they sit down to lunch. The two men are sarcastically considerate to each other, and the strain is beginning to show on Jessica's face.
 

SAM PREPARES BO FOR THE TRIAL:

Sam and Bo discuss the best way to handle the accusations of R.J. Gannon, deciding to use the same approach as Nora had planned before her death.  As they leave the office, Sam sees Lindsay holding Matthew; snatches him away from her. Lindsay makes sure Bo catches the fear in her eyes as Sam takes the child upstairs. Bo leaves the house. Lainie questions Lindsay on what happened, and Lindsay explains to her Sam's concern about Matthew not being his child.
 

PARTING SHOT(S):

After telling Lainie about the paternity question, Lindsay goes to see Bo, who is visibly angered by her presence.

Lainie comforts Sam and offers to be an ear to his problems where Matthew is concerned. Sam isn't quite sure what Lainie is talking about, and asks her to tell him everything she knows about the situation of Matthew.
