Sam & Nora
Current Status: Beginning to
date again.
Biggest Flaw: Too many obstacles in their way.
Greatest Thing Going For Them: Respect and long-standing love for one
another.
Most Romantic Moment of the Year: The day Sam kissed Nora romantically up
on Llantano Mountain.
Person who most wanted to break them apart: Lindsay Rappaport and Colin
MacIver.
Summary of their relationship for the year: After finally returning home
from being held captive by Colin and Lindsay, Nora has struggled all year with
her memory lost and her quest for justice. Sam felt it was best to take things
slow with Nora considering she lost so many recent memories of them together.
After Colin was murdered, Sam faced prison for his death, which lead to Nora
taking the case for him. During the trial it was revealed Nora was in fact
Colin's real killer, and she had not remembered what she had done. Soon
afterwards, Sam and Nora started work on re-building their relationship, but
things were about to change again when a new citizen came to Llanview - enter
Troy MacIver (Colin's twin brother). Troy's determination to seek justice for
Nora and make up for what his brother did to Nora has caused more problems for
her and Sam. Nora is also fascinated with Troy, and very grateful to him for
saving her son's life. She agreed with Troy's advice to take an experimental
drug to help her regain her memories. The drug brought back most of Nora's lost
memories, except for the key point about Lindsay injecting her with the needle.
Troy's next plan is to seduce Lindsay and get her to confide in him on what she
did to Nora. Troy hopes this will finally bring justice to Nora, and perhaps in
turn she will leave Sam for him.
Biggest Upcoming Obstacle for 2002: Troy's fascination for Nora, and the
continued quest for justice.
