Dr. Troy MacIver on the ABC Television Network's "One Life To Live"

Ty Treadway created the role of "One Life to Live's" handsome, enigmatic Dr. Troy MacIver in August 2001. Mr. Treadway played Troy's dangerous twin brother, Colin, from May 2000 -- March 2001, when the character met an untimely demise.

Mr. Treadway recently took on double duty when he signed on to co-host SOAPnet's new daily talk show, "SoapTalk," with Lisa Rinna, which premiered on June 10, 2002. He shoots "One Life to Live" during the week in New York City and commutes to Los Angeles to shoot "SoapTalk" on the weekends.

The youngest of seven children, Mr. Treadway was born in Trenton, New Jersey. He attended Rider University on an athletic scholarship and later transferred to the College of New Jersey, where he graduated with a degree in accounting.

While working for the New Jersey State Legislature as an accountant and a computer systems engineer, he competed in and won the " Mr. Natural Pennsylvania" bodybuilding title. He subsequently moved to New York to pursue a modeling and acting career, appearing in GQ Magazine and working in both theater and commercials.

Mr. Treadway then headed west to Hollywood, where he landed roles on the television series "Just Shoot Me" and "Ally McBeal." He also worked in several independent films and is currently co-producing and starring in "Or Forever Hold Your Peace," a dark comedy about friendship, family and religion, currently screening at film festivals around the country. Mr. Treadway returned to New York for his "One Life to Live" role and resides in Manhattan.
