Emily MacIver on the ABC Television Network's "One Life To Live"
Amber Ryan joined the cast of "One Life to Live" in June 2002 as Emily MacIver. Emily came to town to visit her brother Troy (Ty Treadway). Now it seems that she just might make Llanview her permanent residence.
Miss Ryan was born in St. Augustine, FL, and raised in Palataka. She attended Palatka High School and then went onto college at the Florida School of the Arts. She continued her education at Florida State University, where she studied theater.
Miss Ryan's first professional acting role was in a the Arkansas Repertory Theatre's production of "Westside Story," and her "One Life to Life" role marks her television debut. Miss Ryan is a former dancer. She is a student of Gabrielle Roth and is currently involved in her ongoing "work in progress" theater project.
