Nathan Purdee was born August 6, 1950 in Tampa, Florida.
In order to pay his tuition in college, Purdee worked as a bounty hunter.
Majored in criminology and minored in theater at Lindfield College in Oregon.
From Nov. 1981 - Sept. 1994, played Dr. Carlin on GENERAL HOSPITAL in a recurring role.
Starred in the Return Of The Superfly, which also featured an appearance by Timothy D. Stickney (R.J., OLTL)
Purdee is 6'2"Wife's name is Roberta, and they have a son named Taylor.
Loves scuba diving.
Once lived on a boat for two weeks with James DePaiva (Max, OLTL) and Bob Woods (Bo Buchanan) to do wreck dives in Micronesia.
