Hank Gannon on the ABC Television Network's "One Life To Live"
Nathan Purdee originated the role of "One Life to Live's" Hank 'the Cannon' Gannon, a streetwise ex-cop-turned-maverick district attorney in February 1992.
Prior to his role on "One Life to Live," Mr. Purdee had a two-day stint on "The Young and the Restless," as Nathan Hastings, that soon became a seven-year contract. Next came a short storyline on "Santa Barbara," after which Purdee spent his summer vacation starring in his first feature film, playing the lead in "The Return of Superfly." The film was shot on location in Connecticut, New York and Paris.
Since his move to New York, Mr. Purdee has had the lead roles in two independent films, "In a Blue Mood" and "Media Maid." Mr. Purdee also started his own production company, Karmic Release, Ltd. He served as executive producer on his first film, "Wallowitch & Ross: THIS MOMENT," called "one of the outstanding documentaries of the year" by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. In his free time Mr. Purdee enjoys honing his skills as a photographer.
