Seth Anderson on the ABC Television Network's "One Life To Live"
Steve Richard Harris took over the role of "One Life to Live's" Seth Anderson in April 2002. Seth had a devious plan when he first appeared in Llanview, but he soon discovered the error of his ways and has found love with Jessica Buchanan (Erin Torpey). Now he will do anything to make sure no one hurts her.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Harris had an unconventional upbringing living at an ashram in India when he was a teenager. He attended fifteen different schools as a young child because his family decided to explore their sense of adventure and see as much of the country as possible. In his late teens, he returned to New York, taking up residence in the Catskills before settling in Queens.
Daytime audiences will remember Mr. Harris from his role as "Another World's" Zak Wilder, a role he played during the show's final year. Mr. Harris also made a memorable appearance on HBO's "Sex and the City" as a sexy gardener who had an interesting encounter with Charlotte. Music fans will recognize him from his principal role in Mariah Carey's "I Don't Want to Cry" video.
Mr. Harris' theater credits include the NY production of "Tony & Tina's Wedding" and various stage productions at Musical Theatre Works in New York City.
Mr. Harris is happily married to wife Jennifer, a school teacher, and adores spending time with his daughters, four - year old Casey and one-year old Sophia. He is also a skilled tabla player (Indian drum).
