When Kelly asks the lost boy what he wants for Christmas, he puts Kelly's and Kevin's hands together and places his own on top. Kelly and Kevin share laughs. She reminds him that not all their memories are bad, but Kevin still thinks it's too late for their marriage to work. He says that she deserves to be happy, and he can't give her that. He leaves.
Rex brings a gift to Lindsay and finds Jen there. After yesterday's misunderstanding, they seem standoffish toward each other. After Lindsay leaves for a Christmas concert with Daniel, Rex asks Jen how she's doing. She says, "Like you care." He wants to know what's wrong, so she tells him that she saw him with that girl.
In Angel Square, Luna finds delphinium plants. She tells Al that the legend says if delphinium grows in the wintertime, it holds magical powers. Whoever smells it can recover a lost feeling. Al picks some and runs off with it, and he's gone before he can hear Luna yell that there's something else he should know.
Viki enters Llanfair with a sprig of delphinium. Walker says that he tried to tell Blair, but Blair wouldn't listen. Blair notices Viki holding the flower, and she smells it.
John asks "Al" what time they are leaving to visit their mother, but Al is in a hurry to find Marcie. John thinks that Michael is ditching him, so John walks away. Luna tells Al that just because he is back in Michael's body doesn't mean he can ignore everything else. She tells him that the delphinium's magic is just a wives' tale, and even if it did have powers, it wears off and things are worse than they were before. Al doesn't want to believe that. He leaves to find Marcie.
At Rodi's, Natalie opens Cristian's gift. It is a beautiful painting of her sleeping, and it captures her heart. John enters, and later Blair and Walker too. Blair asks Walker why he brought her to Rodi's. She says that Todd loved the place. He tells her that he also knows she sang to Todd there and that if Todd were still alive, he'd want to come back and be where it all started and make it right this time. Blair taunts him and says she'd like to make a toast to the Wild Hearts Losers Club, which is what she and Todd first called themselves when they met.
"Al" finds Marcie at the radio station. She says that she came to spend time with Al's memory. She wants to be alone, but he gives her a sprig of delphinium, and she asks him to stay. She says that there's something different about him, but he tells her that he's the same guy he was yesterday, and he's the same guy who will love her forever. She smiles, and they kiss. She asks, "Why didn't I see this before? You were there all the time." While holding each other, he says "you know who I am." She replies, "You're Michael McBain. You're the man I love." She tells him that she wants to know all about him. He tells her that he became a doctor because his dad died on the operating table at the hands of a drunk surgeon, and he promised himself that he would never let that happen to another person. They share a tender kiss again, and the camera focuses on the delphinium.
Jen's jealousy amuses Rex. She tells him that they aren't married anymore, so he can be with whomever he wants, but it's evident that she's mad. He says that he thought she was spending Christmas with Joe, so he tried to start something up with someone else, but he couldn't because he only wants her. He tells her that he doesn't know what happened with Joe, but if she's hurting, he wants to make her feel better. She takes that as an invitation for sex, but he assures her that he wants more than that, and he thinks she does too, or she wouldn't keep coming back to him. If she wants him to leave, he'll be out the door and out of her life.
At Angel Square, Daniel and Lindsay pick some delphinium. Lindsay says it's the most beautiful thing she's ever smelled.
John picks up the painting of Natalie, but Nat tells him that he had no right to touch it. She grabs the painting and walks away. Jess tells John that Natalie is just hurting. John says that he's only trying to help Nat feel better, but Jess says if he really wants to help her, he should lighten up.
Walker tells Blair he loves her, and she says that's what Todd always said to her. Walker replies that when you love someone that much, you can't forget it. She says that she'll never forgive Todd because he's dead. Walker replies, "then let all the bad things be buried with him."
