At the diner, Marcie picks up some food for Ron. Al asks her if there's anything he can do to help her. She tells him that he thinks her brother, Eric, is a freak for being gay, so he probably thinks her brother, Ron, is a psycho killer. He says that he's only trying to help, so she tells him to convince his brother that hers is innocent, but he says that John never listens to what he has to say. She replies, "Then there's nothing you can do for me."
At the station, John recognizes Jen's perfume and asks the name of it. It's the same perfume that Nora smelled in Karen's room the night of the murder. He asks Jen if she and Karen were friends, and Jen says no. He shows her the wedding band and asks if she recognizes it, but she won't admit it. He tells her that he has a witness who saw Jen leave Ultra Violet with Karen, but Jen tells him that she and Karen only walked out together and went their separate ways. As she's leaving, Rex shows up with a wedding ring (which he ran out and bought). In front of John, he tells her he found it in bed at his apartment. John tells Jen that it's fine if she wants to leave, but he knows that she'll go home and think about Karen and the night she was murdered.
Blair worries about Kevin's fever rising. She tries to keep him warm by placing a blanket on him and lying on top of him. Walker enters during this compromising position and yells her name. Meanwhile, Dorian and Viki eat cheese and peanut butter for Thanksgiving...they hear a loud rumbling. An avalanche!
