OLTL Recap for Wednesday, November 5, 2003

-Viki finds Nat reading an article about her and Cristian in The Sun. Nat had visited a studio to look at Cris’ paintings, and people were standing around looking at her funny. She realized they were reading the article about her.

-McBain visits the diner to tell Carlotta he is sorry about Cris. They do not blame him. Antonio says he blames himself. John asks how Natalie is doing and says he is available if there is ever anything he can do. Antonio asks Carlotta to stay with Jamie, and he leaves.

-Dorian and River eat lunch together, but he is not hungry because he misses Adriana. Dorian finds a personal ad that River placed to look for Adriana. She tells River to stop looking for Adriana because he might endanger her, but she promises he will see her again someday. Dorian asks Renee if Harrison is attending the victory celebration. Renee says yes, and he has requested a private table with Viki.

-Blair visits Kelly to give her a reference letter for adoption, but when she sees Kelly with a lot of money, she wants to know what is going on. Kelly and David tell her it is none of her business and ask her to leave. Afterward, Kelly and David leave to catch their flight so they can bring home a baby.

-Kevin and Todd/Walker (what in the world should we call him?) fight at the penthouse. Kevin accuses Todd of getting rid of the P.I. permanently. Todd taunts Kevin and tells him that Kelly is very photogenic (referring to the sex tape). Kevin says he is not going to tell Blair about Todd, but it is not because of the tape. It is because he cares about her, but if Todd does anything to hurt her, Kevin will tell her. Blair walks in and says, "Tell me what?"

-Roxy visits Llanfair to cheer up Natalie and wants to give her a manicure. Viki says it is not a good time, so Roxy hugs Nat. Roxy shows a little remorse for the way she raised Nat, and she tells Natalie that she has become a lady despite how she was raised.

-Jess helps Natalie get Cristian’s bills in order. Nat says that she does not want any proceeds from Cris’ paintings, but Viki tells her that Cris would want her to have the money. Viki invites her to move back into Llanfair after Natalie refuses to live in the cottage without Cris. When Viki leaves, Roxy asks Nat to live with her instead. Roxy tells her that she would be reminded more about the bad past with Roxy than all the good times she lost with Cris. Roxy promises to be more sunshiny and positive than she used to when Nat was growing up. Natalie agrees that Roxy would be a distraction.

-Dorian the schemer visits Viki and tells her that Walker is the one who placed that awful article in The Sun and that Dorian tried to talk him out of it. She warns Viki that he plans to write another bad article tomorrow about Kevin. Viki cancels her date with Harrison and leaves to talk to Walker.

-In Mexico, David warns Kelly to keep quiet about how they get the baby. She says Kevin will not ask any questions once he sees the baby, and she is adamant that the baby will save her marriage. David leaves for the meeting, and Kelly gets more excited about having a daughter.

-Dorian calls Carlotta about River and Adriana. They conspire to make sure Adriana does not contact River. As she hangs up the phone, she sees the governor and congratulates him. When he tells her that Viki cancelled, she says that she thinks Viki is seeing another man. He says it‘s not his business or Dorian‘s, but she says that Viki‘s double personality might have something to do with it.

-Kevin tells Blair that he was just warning Walker to keep her safe. She tells him he should be worrying about Kelly, but when he asks her what she means, she does not say. As he leaves, Walker comically yells out and fakes disappointment "You mean you’re not moving in with us?" He tells Blair to meet him at The Palace because he needs to take care of some business at The Sun. He grabs some cash and some cable cutters, but Viki detains him. She has come to confront him about the articles.

-Natalie opens up to Jessica about keeping busy. She says it is better than sitting around and remembering all the time she wasted when she could have been with Cris. Now all she has is the memory of their last kiss and how she did not know it was the last one. She tells Jess to cherish times with Antonio.

-Antonio visits Rae’s office and says that he is the one who should be dead. She tells him it is not his fault and that Cris is at peace. Cris would not want him to blame himself. He does not think he will be able to bear life, but she says he will get through it and be strong for Carlotta.
