One Life to Live Recap for October 21, 2003

"PLAYBOY BUCHANEN...LT GOVERNORSHIP BOUGHT BY HIS GRANDPA" That is the Sun headline Vicky is holding as she barges her way into Dorians house looking for Blair. Dorian lets her know that Blair is no longer living there, but what does it matter when the headline is true. Todd is giving Starr pointers on how to pretend to be sick so Blair won't go to Las Vegas with him. It seems to work because Blair comes out to see him off. Kevin gets off the elevator fuming about the headline. Todd tells him he had it changed last night when he couldnt sleep - to the truth! He slips and says hes had too much of Kevin for too many years. It goes unnoticed. Kevin knocks his briefcase to the ground and it opens. Out pops the money Dorian lent him. In Vegas, Jessica asks Antonio about talking to John McBain the night before. He denies knowing or speaking to him. Shes not too convinced. Flynn and Rack-em-up are discussing how Christian bet on Natalie to win. Rackem is having second thoughts because he feels they could lose everything they have & they are good kids. Flynn figures the more losers the merrier. As long as John keeps Natalie under control and she loses the match. John arrives and lets them know that Natalie doesn't want to see anyone hurt so shes going along with them. In their room, Natalie looks all edgy and Christian knows something is wrong. He lets her know how lucky they are that they got married, but can't start out lying to eachother. She looks about to confess to having to throw the game, but shes saved by the bell. Er phone that is. Its Roxy, informing her that she can't screw up because her cable was shut off and she bet money on Natalie to win. After she hangs up Christian confesses that he bet everything they have on her to win. Talk about pressure.
