Travis follows Blair to New York. Laser calls Blair and tells her to be on the bridge in Central Park in 15 minutes "or say goodbye to your daughter." Meanwhile, Laser has another girl involved. The girl restrains Starr, and Laser says he doesn't plan on giving Starr back. If her family can come up with a million that easily, then they can come up with even more.

Evangeline and Nora have lunch. Evangeline isn't sure about her relationship with RJ, because she doesn't need his moodiness in her life right now. Evangeline asks Nora about Daniel Coleson, but Nora says it's no big deal.

In the hospital, Viki tells Jess that hiding things from her is not helping her. When no one told her about Starr, she was stressed out trying to figure out what everyone was hiding. Antonio brings flowers, and Viki lets it slip about Jess' acceptance into the graduate program before Jess has a chance to tell him herself. Antonio says he didn't even realize Jess had been considering it.

Bo issues an APB for Blair, and later John tells him that Blair bought a ticket to New York. Todd and Bo fly to New York in a police helicopter.

When Blair takes the money to the bridge, she finds a ringing phone in a garbage can, along with a swatch of Starr's hair. From there, Laser gives her 15 minutes to get to a place called Wagner Cove. At the cove, Starr elbows Laser long enough for her to escape for a moment, but his friend captures her quickly, and they move to their next location.

Dorian meets Adriana at Carlotta's diner and has a nice conversation with her. In light of what's happened with Starr, Dorian wants Adriana to know that she loves her. With tears in her eyes, Adriana tells Dorian she loves her as well. Their conversation is truly heartfelt.

Dr. Long tells Michael that he's leaving for a conference in Atlanta and he'll be gone for almost a week. Michael immediately calls Marcie and tells her that they have their chance to get into Dr. Long's office now. Unfortunately, it's a trick, and Dr. Long walks in on them when they're snooping in his office.

Dorian tells Viki not to worry about Starr because it's not good for her health, but Viki says sitting around isn't good either. She tells Dorian that Blair and Starr will be fine, and Dorian says this is one time that she wants Viki to be right. Viki asks Dorian to see if the doctor will let Viki go home because she wants to be there when Starr is freed. Later, Dorian says that the doctor wants Viki to stay for observation, although Dorian hints it might be for a more serious reason.

Starr sneaks her phone away from Laser, and she secretly calls Todd. She can't talk to him, but he hears carousel music in the background, so he and Bo head for Central Park.

Blair learns she must meet Laser at the carousel in Central Park, but when she does, Laser keeps Starr, and his friend snatches the money from Blair. Blair desperately grabs for Starr, but they take her away as Blair yells for her. Blair heads back to Wagner Cove, and Travis meets up with Bo and Todd.

Antonio, Jess, and John meet at Rodi's where John learns from the bartender that Nat left for Atlantic City with Paul. Antonio and Jess talk about her graduate program. He says he'd never keep her from going, but he was surprised to hear about it. He gets a mysterious call from Evangeline who needs him to work again, but he can't tell anyone. When he leaves, Jess follows him.

On the helicopter pad, Nat asks Paul what he's transporting. He says he doesn't know and he doesn't care. That's why they pay him the big bucks to transport things ASAP. "But I'm just glad for the company this time," he says as he pulls her into a kiss. Paul tells her that they can stay the night in Atlantic City if she's up for it. She replies, "Well, I have nothing to come back for. Let's party."

John asks Nora what she would do if she had a friend who was involved with someone who wasn't good for them. Nora says she'd do what she always does--she'd stick her nose where it doesn't belong because "it's something you have to do if it's someone you care about." John says, "Even if it's something they don't want?" Nora replies that you have to run that risk because it's better to lose a friend than have them get hurt, right? John says he's about to find out.

At the cove, Blair pushes Laser away from Starr and tells Starr to run. Starr runs to Todd as Laser grabs Blair and holds a gun to her head.
