John leaves for a little while and returns after Michael had ditched the camera to Shannon. John, who feels that he didn't get his message across to his little borther strongly enough, warns him again. Michael swears, on their father's grave, that he isn't spying on the doctor anymore. John goes for it, until Shannon comes bustling in the room, and without looking up to see that John was there, blurts out that Mike has just GOT to see the pictures she got of...SHHHHH!!! Mike says. Too Late! John confiscates the camera, ignoring Shannon's quick cover-up story, and says: Mike, you lying little slug! You lied on your father's grave! Nooooo, I didn't lie. I didn't have the camera, Shannon did. Oh, Shannon did? Maybe if this medical thing flops, you can become a lawyer.
Just look at the pictures, john. LOOK at the pictures. John does, and Michael asks him if there any pictures of Dr. Long. Well? John says, yeah, there is..he's with Kramer, apparently having an argument. SEE, I KNEW IT! We viewers see that John also got an eyeful of something else..Paul and Nat kissing. He looks up at Mike and tells him to drop his mission, it's not kid stuff.
Back at the Angel Square Hotel, Roxy and Kathryn are having a mini battle about Kathryn getting access to John's room. Roxy watches as Kathryn struggles with a heavy box of items, and she tells her, no can do. That's EVASION of privacy and all. Kathryn asks her would she do it for 10 bucks. Roxy tells her that inflation is a witch...How about twenty? Payable in cash? Kathryn grits her teeth, but shells out the twenty. She opens the room and watches as Kathryn unpacks the items. Do you mind, lady? I'm trying to leave John a gift! Roxy tells her that she most definitely can NOT let her stay alone in the room. And, heyyy...isn't that John's ex-lady? I saw her in the paper when they caught Dr. Death. What are you doing with it? I'll tell you, says Kathryn, but it will cost you 20 bucks. Later, Natalie arrives and knocks on John's door. Roxy hustles outside and Natalie says: you said it was urgent. Roxy tells her, Kathryn is in there. Um, so? SO? She brought over some things..some PERSONAL things. Kathryn opens the door and says that 20 bucks doesn't buy what it used to. Roxy flashes a cheeky smile and says: Hey, I'm just looking out for my kid. She turns to nat and whispers, "Give her hell", before leaving the two women alone. The cat claws come out as they enter John's room. Kathryn sarcastically comments that Nat's gift to John of the casino slot machine is "cute". Nat just as coldly says, thanks, I thought it would be something that John would like.
Natalie also spots the picture of John and Caitlin on the bedside table, and asks what Kathryn is doing with it. She informs Nat that Caitlin was her sister, much to Natalie's angry shock. Nat accusingly asks Kathryn if she intentionally decided to let that slip out just now. Enter John. Oh, I'm sorry, I thought this was MY room! Oh, look, Number Four..It IS my room! Kathryn tells him that she was just telling Natalie about her and Caitlin, and John gets a strange look in his eyes. Natalie turns her accusing stare on him, and says, you didn't think it was important to mention that they are sisters? No, you and I don't tell each other everything. For instance, I didn't know that you liked helicopters! She tells him that after all they talked about, he didn't think it was important to mention who Kathryn was? John flatly says, no. She's stunned, and stands there for a second or two, long enough to hear Kathryn's cell phone ring. She answers it with, "Agent Fitzgerald." Fitzgerald, Natalie says, I don't know how I didn't connect the dots. Kathryn turns to John..that was the California field office. They definitely want Kramer's testimony, so keep an eye on him, will ya? Natalie has had enough. She storms off, and John goes after her. He tells her he wants to show her something, and hands her the picture envelope. She opens it and sees the picture of her and Paul kissing. She tells John that her personal life is none of his business...(but HIS life is your business?) Agreed, he says, but Paul is not one of the good guys. You need to stay away from him.
