One Life to Live Recap for Monday, April 26, 2004

BUCHANAN BUSINESS BLIPS:

We open with Jessica sitting at a table jotting some notes down on a notepad. Kevin slips up behind her and asks her what she's doing. She quickly fumbles to hide the notepad and he gets suspicious. What are you hiding? Nothing, she says, I'm just doing some research for an article. Kevin lets it go after telling her that he's visiting her as her big brother, not an executive. They discuss Viki's condition briefly. He tells Jessica that he talked to Viki's cardiologist, and he found out that there are some specialists that can help her and they seem to have some new methods that will help Viki recover. Jess mentions that Viki is always out of breath and she doesn't think that anyone notices. Kevin skips that subject and asks if Jess knows Margaret Connor, the accounting employee at Buchanan Enterprises. Jessica knows her by description, and Kevin goes on totell her that he caught Margaret snooping around in his office. Although she told him that she was looking for a file, Kevin tells Jess that he wasn't buying it. Jess asks him why that is. He tells her that some money was transferred into his personal account from BE and he doesn't know how it got there, and since Todd is the person writing the expose and Margaret's been seen with Todd on more than one occasion.....

Jess finishes his thought..Then she must be the one who took the money. No, Kevin says, frankly I think it was Todd. WHAT! Look, I've seen him with Margaret several times. Jessica says yeah, and I've also seen him with...she looks to the door and spots Kelly. She remains silent and Kevin asks her to finish what she was going to say. Kelly comes over and exchange greetings. Kelly tells Kevin that she was at the mall shopping for new baby clothes. Jessica becomes suddenly uneasy and quickly excuses herself, telling them that she has to get to the library.

Kelly frowns in confusion at Jessica's retreating figure and asks Kevin if it was something she said. Kevin tells her that Jessica is under a lot of stress because she's writing an article. He jokes that there's nothing Kelly could do that could ever be that bad. It's not like you're stealing money from Buchanan Enterprises!

STARR MANNING: TARGET INTERNET!

Starr jumps up as Matthew enters her room. How did you get in here? Your mom gave me the key and told me to come get you. She's with my dad and we want to see each other before we say goodbye. Starr hugs Matthew tightly and tells him goodbye. Matthew asks her why she did that. They'll see each other in a few days. Starr says maybe. Matthew asks her what she means. She says hey, you never know what could happen. But I want you to know that you were my best friend. Matthew tells her: "Whoa! Wait! You're acting really weird, and you're scaring me. Are you planning to run away or something?"

Starr quickly says: NO! My mom's taking me to see The Lion King. Why would I run away? Well, I know that you've been really bummed out about your parents not getting back together. If they want to ruin their lives, that's their problem! Matthew accepts her word and tells her to hurry, he and his dad are going back to Llanview soon. Starr tells him that she'll be right there.

LLANVIEW LAW & ORDER: MEDICAL MYSTERY!

First, we see John on his phone talking to Eve. He yells out Mom,Mom, Mom...okay! I get it, you're worried. That's what you get for giving him so many hardy Boys mystery books when he was little. Okay, I'll take it seriously.

Flash over to Michael's hospital room..He's talking to Marcie on the phone and looking through his binoculars at the same time. He tells her that he is taking it easy, and the binoculars..(he quickly tosses them to the bedside table, while Shannon, who came in unseen, giggles to herself)..are on the table, collecting dust. Yes, okay, I will. I love yo, too. Bye. He turns to Shannon. She tells him that he's such a horror. Marcie worried about you. Yes, she doesn't want me spying on Dr. Long since the last time we spied on him, I broke my leg. I thought you broke your leg because you fell, Shannon says. I did, right of Dr. Long's office, three stories down! COOOOLLL, Shannon says, and here I thought you were just a klutz. He complains that Dr. Long is up to something, and everyone is running scared for him ever since he fell. He tells Shannon about some of the things he saw that had made him and marcie suspicious in the firstplace.
