Fan Recap for One Life to Live

From Written by Jennifer Faulkner, for About.com

Jess tells Todd if he cares about her at all, he won't try to make Kevin look bad, but he says he doesn't have to try because someone beat him to it (referring to Kelly moving the money). He thinks someone transferred money from BE to make Kevin look bad, and he wonders who would have done that.

Kelly tells Paul that Kevin is being blamed for the money she stole from Buchanan Enterprises. She hands Paul the money and tells him to get out of her life. Unexpected, Kevin asks from behind, "Why are you giving money to your brother?" They tell him she's helping Paul buy a car. Kevin tells Kelly that Todd must have hired someone to hack into BE and transfer funds to their personal account to make it look like Kevin stole money.

Cassie returns to Llanview and accuses Dorian of lying about Adriana. Without meeting Adriana, she says, "I'm not going to let you or that Tramp hurt my son!" "Are you talking about me?" she hears an innocent voice behind her. After a heartfelt speech from Adriana, Cassie gives Dorian the benefit of the doubt and says she better not be lying because Adriana is too sweet of a girl to deceive. She tells Adriana she always wanted a little sister, and when River arrives, Cassie tells him she sees why he's so in love with Adriana.

RJ loans Rex money for his business ventures, but Rex has second thoughts about the contract which relinquishes his club and his restaurant to RJ and Lindsay if Rex is just two months late on payments. RJ thinks Rex acts worried about being able to make payments, but Rex says RJ will get his money back and more.

Brandishing a gun, John enters his apartment, but finds Nat inside. "Please don't shoot," she says quietly. She apologizes for startling him, and he apologizes back. She has brought him a slot machine that she found at a garage sale, and he smiles. She thought he could use some good home entertainment, and they have some cute interaction together--until Kathryn shows up! Where are the silver bullets and garlic cloves when you need ‘em? She just won't keep her googly eyes off of him! Nat watches as Kathryn throws her arms around a surprised John and asks, "Is that any way to welcome me back?"

Evangeline and Nora cry over a good movie and eat junk food together. Nora says she's glad they can be friends outside the courtroom . . . "even though you are representing someone who's lying about me," she says to Evangeline. Then she adds, "Did I just say that out loud?" Evangeline says that her client insists he was misquoted about what he said concerning Nora, and she and Nora wonder who could be behind it. Nora says it has to be someone who really doesn't like Kevin Buchanan . . . "or me," she adds.

Kevin accuses Todd of setting him up, and he says it's not good using Viki's paper to get back at him. Kevin says Todd's going back to jail if Kevin finds out he manufactured evidence. Todd swears he had nothing to do with it, but Kevin promises whomever did it will go to jail. When Kevin tells him the exact amount that was taken, Todd realizes Kelly transferred the money.

At Rodi's, Nigel tries asking Roxy something, but she assumes he wants to scold her for helping Nat put a slot machine in John's room. Nat swears she didn't tell Nigel anything. Nat tells Roxy that Kathryn is back in town, and Roxy tells her not to worry about John. She says, "There's plenty of chickens in the sea" and she shoves Nat toward Paul who is standing nearby. Just then, John walks up to Nat and asks gently, "Why did you run off like that?" Kathryn waits close by, and Nat scoffs at John's comment that his relationship with Kathryn is "just business." She tells him that he doesn't owe her an explanation because they're just friends. He offers to by her a drink so they can talk about this, but she snubs him and leaves with Paul.

Nora and Evangeline suspect that Todd is behind the accusations against Nora. Evangeline agrees to let Nora question the client, but when Evangeline calls him, she learns that he left town with no forwarding address.

When Kelly arrives, Dorian asks if she still needs money, and she worries that Kelly is in serious trouble somehow. Kelly insists that she's fine, and she and Cassie get reacquainted. David asks Dorian if she thinks Kelly is faking a smile because of Cassie (who once had a relationship with Kevin) or because she's lying about not being in trouble. Dorian says it's probably both. Dorian receives a strange phone call from Carlotta, and she leaves right away. On her way out, Kevin thanks her for being so good to Viki while she's sick.
