Fan Recap for One Life to Live

RJ temporarily concedes, telling them that he will be seeking legal advice to fight this. He leaves and heads back to the bar, yanking Evangeline away from Natalie and demanding that she represents him in court against Vega. She is NOT happy with neither his rough handling or his mission to go after Antonio.

She tells him that Antonio is Jamie's father, and she's doing great with him. Furthermore he needs to realize that HE is Jamie's GRANDFATHER, and she doesn't like it when he's spiteful. She tells him that she wants no part of his scheme. He pushes her away, telling her that he'll find someone else to represent him...someone who cares. They part on an ugly note.

Back to the precinct.....John shoves a handcuffed Paul into a chair. Kathryn requests to speak to John in private. Outside, Kathryn tells john that he knows what she's going to ask of him. Apparently, he does. She tells him that whatever Paul did here in Llanview is nothing compared to his testimony against the Correacas Brothers. John defeatedly confirms that she wants him to let him go free in exchange for his testimony against the drug cartel. They head back inside, where Paul is struggling against the handcuffs. He complains that the cuffs hurt, and John sarcastically tells him that his heart breaks for him. Paul accuses Kathryn of ratting him out, she sneers at him. John breaks it down..we have enough evidence to put you away for 5 years, but the DA just might be willing to let you walk IF....you cooperate fully with the FBI on the Correacas Brothers case. He agrees, and John tells him to get out. He protests that he's not leaving without his money. John scoffs at him..YOUR money? That money was dirty when you stole it. It's in federal custody now. YOU CAN'T DO THAT! Paul screams. Good-bye Paul.

Flash back to Capricorn..Marge tells Todd that a large sum of cash has been withdrawn from BE, and it looks like Kevin Buchanan may have taken it. Where did the money wind up, Todd asks. In the personal account of him and his wife, Todd shakes his head, as if to say "Tsk, Tsk." She wonders aloud if she should report it, Todd tells her to do nothing for now, but keep digging. She thanks him and his cell phone rings. He tells Marge that it's his daughter from NYC. She smiles, telling him how much she loves that he's such a good dad. She plants a kiss on his cheek and leaves. He hangs up and dials another call.

Flash over to Kelly...her phone rings and she snatches it up, calling out Paul? No, Todd. We need to talk...now! She meets him outside of Capricorn, and he tells her what Marge told him about the missing funds from BE. She tries not to show the panic she feels on her face, and instead tries to tell Todd that he'll look like a fool if he puts the blame on Kevin. Todd tells her that he'll take his chances. He walks away and her cell phone rings. It's Paul. She frantically tells him that he worried her to death. She needs her money back because she's in a lot of trouble. He asks her where she is...at Capricorn. I'll be there soon.

Flash over to Marcie and Mike..Dorian has interrupted their sleuth plan with a surprise visit and a glass vase full of flowers. They exchange greetings, and she's about to hand him the flowers. Out inthe hall, Paul is trying to re-charm the young female orderly who's previously arranged for him to perform an undercover DNA test on Adriana into getting a copy of the results of Dorian's pre-admission physical. She tells him that she's risked her job for him once, she can't again. There is a bit of a back and forth debate, and he manages to get a promise to try out of her.

As she walks away, the sounds of Marcie and Dorian's screams, and the shattering of glass catches his attention. He zooms over to Mike's room and sees that Dorian has cut her hand on the broken flower vase. He immediately rushes over with his handkerchief and wraps her hand with it, secretly getting the blood sample he needed. He slips off quickly. Marcie jokes that it's a good thing that the hospital doesn't need any more blood to help with the blood bank shortage. What shortage? She relays what River and Adriana told her that Paul told them and how they were both donating earlier. Dorian quickly excuses herself and heads into the bathroom. The wastebasket is empty! She freaks.

Antonio is upset with John's decision to free Paul, and he heads home. He rings the bell and hands Jess flowers, which he quickly says are really for Viki. Viki excuses them. Jess tells him about RJ, but he brushes it aside. He gets down on his knees and proposes to her.

John and Kathryn say their goodbyes at the precinct, and he accompanies her to the train station. Later, Natalie arrives at the precinct and asks an officer if John is in. The officer says no, but you might find him at the train station. She does, and watches as he and Kathryn share a passionate kiss!
