Paul tells Kelly he needs $64,000 as soon as possible. Kelly doesn't have that kind of money just lying around. (Doesn't anyone remember the money she inherited from Ian Armitage? These writers forget we know things!) He tells her to give him the money or he'll be forced to spill her secret. Kelly can't believe he's talking about destroying the family she has with her child, and he says, "Yeah, the family that I committed a crime so you could have." Kelly replies with tears in her eyes, "A crime? I knew it." Paul says his life is on the line, and he'll sell the secret to someone else if he has to.

When Todd leaves, Blair almost feels guilty for not wanting him to go to New York. She doesn't apologize, but she thanks him for helping Starr. He says he'd do anything for Starr. She chews on her lip as she watches him walk away.

Starr calls Matthew and tells him she's coming to New York. Matthew is surprised she's coming when Viki isn't well. Starr hasn't been told about Viki, and Matthew tells her that Viki was discussing her will with Nora because she could have another heart attack and die. Starr is horrified.

Roxy tells Nat she's been spoiling John too much by taking care of him and bringing him food all the time. When has John ever delivered the goods to her instead? Nat has a memory of John jokingly unloading a ton of fruitcakes on the table for her at Rodi's around Christmastime.
