Fan Recap for One Life to Live

From Written by Jennifer Faulkner

Matthew pushes Nora to practice dancing and eat healthy foods. Viki tells Nora she needs to make a new will, and Nora recommends Evangeline. Matthew overhears the conversation and asks if Viki is going to die. Nora tells him about Viki's heart condition, but she assures him that Viki will be okay.

Antonio tells Jess he can't move into Llanfair. She worries that he won't come with her because he's uncomfortable with her money. They start an argument, but Jess apologizes and says she's just upset about her mom. He says he can't move to Llanfair because he doesn't want to uproot Jamie. They kiss and make up, saying from now on they can date again and steal moments together.

Jen shows Riley the video of his show at UV. He thinks it's amazing and says she should take it over to the university's station. Shannon and another band member invite Jen and Riley to the garage for band practice and a "double-date." Jen tells them that she and Riley aren't dating, but Shannon says that's not what everyone else thinks.

When Paul shows up at UV, Roxy tells him not to count on Nat coming because she's hot after Johnny McBain. Paul asks Roxy why Nat's working in a bar when she comes from a rich family, but Roxy hasn't figured it out either. "So, Natalie doesn't want her family's money?" Paul asks, and Roxy replies that Nat doesn't care about money, and she's got a trust fund waiting to be spent.

At the hospital, Nat worries about John. Michael (Al) thanks Nat for finding John in time and says he's going to be okay. When John wakes up, he asks for Nat, and she brightens. John thanks her for saving his life. She says now they're even, and neither of them owes the other.

Michael tells John he needs to take his medicine more regularly, but John says the pain helped him focus more on what he needed to do. Michael replies, "And you did it. You took down Caitlin's killer, so stop making yourself suffer." John tells him he doesn't know what he's talking about, but Michael says that Marcie was withdrawn and depressed after she lost her boyfriend, and she didn't want to date anyone. John doesn't think it's the same, but Michael wants to know how it's different. He says that Marcie hasn't changed the way she feels about Al Holden; she still loves him, but she loves somebody else now too, and she's happy.

Eve rushes into the hospital, and she breaks down in Bo's arms because she couldn't bear the thought if anything happened to John. She thanks Bo for being with John.

Michael asks the Chief of Staff about a patient who was transferred. Michael wants to look at the doc's case file because he's never seen a patient with that sickness before. However, the Chief responds bitterly that "this is a hospital, not a library, and patients' files are not to be borrowed for your personal entertainment!" Michael watches Paul approach the Chief as he's walking away. The Chief agrees to talk to Paul in his private.

Jen tells Riley it's nice having a guy be her friend and not try to get sex. Matthew calls Jen for help. When Matthew hears Nora say she booked two hotel rooms, he says they need to all stay in the same room or everything will be ruined. Nora asks Matthew if he's really interested in the dance contest or if he wants her and Bo together again. Matthew gives Nora a "pinky swear" that he's not playing matchmaker, but his fingers are crossed behind his back. Jen arrives with her camcorder and films them dancing.

Marcie sneaks into Michael's apartment when he's sleeping, and she lights some candles. He awakens with a smile and they kiss.

Shannon doesn't understand why no one told her John was in the hospital. Eve apologizes, but they didn't want Shannon to worry after what happened with her mom. Eve calls Nat to come stay with John. When Nat arrives, she tells Eve she'll stay as long as John needs her. John, resting on his bed, looks up at Nat with those dreamy eyes of his.

Nat and John play a game of miniature pool while he's lying down. When she wins, John tells her it's only because he's heavily medicated. She promises she'll play with her left hand, and when they set the table up, their fingers touch, leading to an awkward moment. John says maybe he should just rest. She agrees that he should sleep, and she'll watch over him. He tells her she doesn't have to stay, but Nat says he'll have to take that up with Eve.
