Fan Recap for One Life to Live

From Written by Jennifer Faulkner, for About.com

Looking for ideas on her novel, Marcie questions Jess and Nora about what it's like to be involved with a cop. She strikes a nerve when she asks why Nora and Bo split up. Later, Nora tells her Bo wouldn't be happy to know Marcie is writing her book when she should be working.

Bo, Antonio, and John brainstorm about Haver's letter to John. They look for a possible victim Haver may have left behind or who might still be a target. Nora and Bo think they'll miss too much work if they enter the dance contest, but they decide to do it for Matthew.

Kelly worries about Ace's first checkup because she's afraid Kevin will find out Ace isn't theirs. Paul tells her everything will be okay, and he reminds her that she's supposed to help him get proof that Adriana isn't Dorian's daughter. (Isn't that a double standard? What about Ace not being Kelly's?) He asks Kelly to use her friendship with David and get info from him.

Kevin takes Viki to the hospital after she experiences pain. Viki tells the doc that she's been having heart palpitations for years. She never told her kids because she wanted to help them with their problems instead of making them worry about hers.

David tells Adriana that Dorian is likely in Mindora. Adriana wonders why Dorian would be there because Adriana's father is there, and supposedly Dorian hates him. David says, "but she loved him once." Adriana replies, "Do you think she does again?" Adriana says she deserves to know why Dorian is in Mindora.

Todd uses a crowbar to get Starr out of the closet, and he comforts her when she tells him her fears. Alone with her dad, she says the only time she's not afraid is when she's with him. Later, Blair tells Starr not to worry about anything scaring her anymore. Starr says she only needs Todd. She hugs Todd, and Jack runs into the room and hugs him too. Blair smiles at their bond.

As usual, Roxy does her wonderful job of bringing Natalie down. Although Nat's a Buchanan, Roxy makes her feel like she's at the bottom of the family. John asks Nat what she's doing at Rodi's when her mom is in the hospital. Nat didn't even know Viki was in the hospital, and she can't believe no one told her about it. John says they probably didn't want to worry her, but Roxy makes the comment, "How come you're the last Buchanan to know?"

Todd asks Blair to let Starr live with him. He says he's not trying to pull any scams; he just wants to take care of their daughter. However, Blair says if anyone's going to take care of her, it's going to be Blair. She thanks Todd for helping Starr today. Blair doesn't know what she would have done if Todd hadn't been there.

After Ace's checkup, Kevin notices a misprint on the medical records. Ace's blood type is positive, but both Kelly and Kevin are negative. Kevin wants to tell the nurse, but Kelly says she'll take care of it while he checks on Viki. When Nat arrives at the hospital, she tells Kevin and Jess that she'll move in with Viki and take care of her. However, Kevin thinks Jess should be the one to move in with Viki. Kevin doesn't want Nat to get the wrong idea, but Nat has been through so much herself lately and he doesn't think she should move in with Viki. Nat puts on a brave face and says she understands, and she thinks Jess would be better suited to move in with Viki because Jess knows her more. Kevin smiles and says he's glad she understands. He walks away, and again Nat feels left out.

In a chatroom, Starr says she's 15. She sends her picture after dressing up and putting on makeup. Blair daydreams about Todd hugging the children, and he holds his hand out to her, saying "Let's be a family again." She reaches and grabs his hand. Coming out of her daydream, she asks herself, "Can I do that? Can I let go and be a family again?" She picks up the phone and gets Todd's machine.

Marcie starts a paragraph about a cop and an Assistant D.A. which she bases on Nora and Bo. She falls asleep and dreams that she's the Commissioner. Reporters and cameramen surround her and want to know how it feels to win the Pulitzer for her novel. She tells reporters that she will be going to Sweden to meet her husband Michael who has just won the Nobel Prize in Medicine. Also, their daughter Gabrielle is with her.

Roxy asks John if he's seen Nat hanging around with Paul, but John says it's none of his business. He takes pills again. Todd promises Kelly that he'll take care of Ace's blood type. Kelly is worried this is just the beginning.

Jess and Viki have a special mother-daughter moment. Jess says Viki is the most important part of her life, and she's going to live with Viki. Jess tells Antonio she's moving in with Viki, and she asks him and Jamie to come too, but Antonio says that's not possible.
