Fan Recap for One Life to Live

From Written by Jennifer Faulkner, for About.com

When Nat leaves her jail cell, Viki says she's sorry that Natalie had to go "through that," but Nat and John give each other a smile.

Kelly talks to her new son alone and tells him he couldn't be any more hers if he was her natural son. She tells him he brought Kevin back to her, and they all are going to have a great life.

At the Palace, Blair tells Kevin she doesn't think Todd raped her. Kevin tells her not to do this to herself, but she says she needs to admit it could have been consensual. Across the room, Todd watches her as Kevin asks if things have now changed between her and Todd. She says Todd may be innocent of rape, but he has done plenty of things in the past, and she doesn't want him.

At Rodi's, Paul reads a newspaper headline entitled Woman Loses Baby in Chopper Crash. Jen tells Riley that Rodi's is much more pleasant when Nat's not working, but Riley says that Nat is really a good person, and she's just been through a lot. Jen doesn't want to hear it. She only dropped the charges because what Nat said about her is true. However, Riley won't listen. He replies, "I don't care what Natalie said. You did not ruin anyone's life. Everyone makes their own decisions. Cris, Joe, and Rex. . . you did not force them to fall for you." Jen thanks him for making her feel better.

Viki tells Nat about her heart attack, but she downplays it. Nat waits to make sure John is okay, and Nora tells Antonio and Bo that the D.A.'s office is dropping the charges against John. He leaves his cell a free man, and Nat congratulates him. She says she's not usually a crybaby and didn't mean to break down last night. Bo, Nora, and Antonio all welcome him back to the force and joke around with him. He smiles and looks for Nat, but she's gone.

Asa meets his namesake. He and Renee fawn over their new grandchild while Kelly watches with a huge smile. Renee tells Kelly it was brave for her to have a baby out in the middle of nowhere. Kelly says she's lucky those farmers knew what to do and delivered her baby. Asa wants to give them a reward, but Kelly says the farmers are very religious and not willing to take money because she already tried giving them something. Asa already has politics planned for the baby's life, but Kelly says Kevin wouldn't want that after his own stint in politics. Asa says Kevin wouldn't have had such bad luck in politics if he'd kept his paws off that she-devil, Blair. Kelly says nothing will come between Kevin and her again now that they have Ace.

Todd meets with the Editor in Chief of the Banner-Sun (some poor old guy). Todd somehow makes himself look like the good guy. By drawing attention to the man's working mistakes, Todd convinces him to retire. Todd kindly tells the man that he'll take over for him immediately so that the man isn't inconveniencing anyone by leaving. He thanks Todd. Todd tells Blair he wants his family back, but Blair doesn't want him. She says they can't go back, but he wants her to let go of her hostility (haha--yeah right).

Paul flirts with Nat. Nat tells Roxy that John is free, and Roxy frustrates Nat when she asks why Nat isn't celebrating with John. Exhausted, Nat walks away and says, "Because I'm not." Nat approaches Riley and tells him he's getting himself into trouble by hanging out with Jen. Jen jumps up and asks "What is it with you? Are you so frustrated because you can't get a man?" They almost fight again, but Riley and Paul stop them.

Renee gives Kelly a gift for the baby, and she tells Kelly the baby looks like neither Kelly nor Kevin. David looks for Dorian, and he says he saw Blair at the Country Club with Kevin. Kelly and David bicker about whether Kevin really cares about Kelly.

John celebrates with Antonio and Jess at The Palace. John thinks Nat didn't come because she's embarrassed about breaking down in her cell. He thinks she feels like she has to be tough around him all the time, like that's something he expects from his friends. Jess rolls her eyes as she mutters, "men are so stupid." She continues, "Don't you know how Natalie feels about you?" She bites her tongue, but John wants to know what Jess means. She says she shouldn't have said anything, but he must know Nat has feelings for him. John admits that he and Nat both lost someone and have things in common, but they both agreed they don't want to mess up their friendship. Viki interrupts their conversation.
