Fan Recap for One Life to Live

From Written by Jennifer Faulkner, for About.com

In dedication to Al, Marcie narrates most of the show via her Valentine's Day radio broadcast. She offers a comforting voice for lovers in Llanview, while Al worries she won't make it to Capricorn.

Luna paces Angel Square in the rain. "Oh, why did I ever let Marcie see Al one more time? She's never going to let him go!" Luna worries Marcie won't open up enough to recognize Al's soul, and she begs God to help. "I'm not God, but SHE and I are pretty close," quips an angelic Megan, Viki's deceased daughter. She tells Luna to have faith.

Starr tells Dorian that Blair had another headache, adding that the reason is probably because it's Valentine's Day and she misses Todd. In jail, Todd reads a valentine from Starr, but he dreams about reading one from Blair asking him to come home. On the radio, Marcie talks about the power of love, "Misunderstandings tear people apart all the time." Meanwhile, Blair watches rain trickle down a windowpane and listens. "Our loved ones can make us so mad, but if we didn't love them so much, they wouldn't be able to hurt us the way they do. If you push your love away, you're pushing away your own soul," Marcie says softly. Starr pipes in, "You should listen to her, Mom. If you put Dad in jail, there's no hope for any of us."

Natalie stares at one of her wedding photos. Al tells her he didn't mean to be insensitive by inviting her to listen to Simply Red. A storm in Chicago keeps Antonio from coming home, so Jess spends time with Nat. Viki spends her Valentine's Day with Ben. She talks about Megan and wishes that he could have met her. She recalls times that she and Ben spent together. She tells him he's the one who really taught her to enjoy life and live it day by day. When a favorite song plays, she remembers them dancing together, and she sees Ben's eyelids twitch. "Can you hear me?" she asks in surprise, and he squeezes her hand.

Luna asks Megan what she's supposed to do now, and Megan tells Luna to have faith and nothing else. Luna gets hopeful when Megan suggests that Marcie and Al may find their way back together tonight. They watch Adriana and River spin in the rain, wrapped in each other's arms. Adriana tells River she doesn't care about the money, and he promises they will get married someday. Later, on the same roof that Cris proposed to Nat, River places a piece of lace upon Adriana's head, and they recite promises similar to wedding vows. Bathed in candlelight, Kevin and Kelly lie in bed and talk about memories. He presents her with a ring and asks if she'd marry him all over again even if she knew what pain he could cause. With tears streaking down her face, she replies "yes." They listen to Marcie recite a poem. Kevin says, "We're going to make it, you know." Kelly promises to love him forever. At Ultra Violet, Riley and Jen talk about their fathers. Jen wishes Sam was still around to help her figure things out. When Al tells RJ he's worried that Marcie won't get to Capricorn before the first song, Evangeline and RJ tell him to get his butt to the radio station and bring back Marcie. When he reaches the station, she's gone, and the other DJ doesn't know where she went. Meanwhile, Marcie stands beneath Luna's statue and remembers a moment with Al. "I'm never going to leave you, Marcie," she remembers him saying. Luna looks at Megan, "It's 25 minutes till midnight. We've got to do something." However, Megan tells her it's up to Marcie and Al now. Luna has broken too many rules already.
