At the hospital, Todd asks God to make sure Blair is okay. He remembers happier times. When Blair is done, Todd wants to know what the doctor said, but she ignores him and leaves.
Jen feels left out that Marcie has so many new friends. Marcie thinks Rex is putting ideas in Jen's head, but Jen tells Marcie that Rex has a new girlfriend. She thinks Marcie has changed too much because she doesn't have time for Jen anymore, but Marcie says that she likes being different. Al changed her, and she's not lonely anymore.
At Ultra Violet, Lindsay tells Rex it's over. She says Jen has been asking too many questions. "You don't really want to go, do you?" he asks. He pulls her into a kiss and tells her that Jen has nothing to do with them. Lindsay tells RJ she thinks Rex is using her to get back at Jen, but she also thinks herself ridiculous for fooling around with someone his age. However, she really likes Rex. RJ tells Rex he will have to answer if he hurts Lindsay. Rex tells Lindsay that she doesn't want to cool things off any more than he does. She says she can do it for Jen, and she leaves.
Although he knows Flash is alive, Riley has a difficult time dealing with it. He listens to River play her music on the radio. His band plays at Ultra Violet, but Rex tells him that he doesn't want them in his club anymore unless they find a new lead singer. Riley tells the other band members that their band is over. He accepts an offer for drugs.
John tells Antonio that the killer sounded personal on the phone, almost like the killer knows him. They hope the killer believes their story in the paper. Al/Michael picks John up for Marcie's party, but John doesn't know if he should go because he's busy with his investigation. Al tells him Marcie is excited about a surprise she has planned and he won't forget it if John upsets Marcie.
At the loft, Jess hears noise and opens the door to Dr. Haver. He offers to call the police if she's worried someone is lurking around. He tells her that he got her address in the student directory at the university because he wanted to give her some research material. They discuss some papers, and he leaves. Antonio returns home, and smiles to see Jessica and Jamie together. After hearing how Dr. Haver got Jess' address, he reminds her that the student directory was printed last Spring when she was at Llanfair. Antonio suggests that the doctor has a crush on her like Antonio does. They share a tender kiss.
Rae and Dr. Haver meet at The Palace. Rae tells him that Flash really didn't die and can't identify the killer. The newspaper story was a setup for the killer.
Jessica makes the mistake of telling RJ that he can baby-sit Jamie the same time Antonio told Carlotta that she could watch her. Antonio and Jess leave for Marcie's party. When RJ arrives, he and Carlotta argue about who will spend time with Jamie. As they argue, Jamie falls and gets hurt. At the hospital, Carlotta and RJ each blame themselves and apologize for their earlier argument. Jamie is bleeding, but okay.
The killer calls John and says some things that he knows about John's life. When John asks him how he knows all this, the killer says, "Do you want to be late for your dinner party?" He says that John is pretty pathetic to have nothing to do besides sit in his apartment and look at pictures of dead women. John suggests they get together. He'll come unarmed without police. He tells the killer that Flash and Troy both described him, but the killer doesn't buy it. "You don't know who I am, and you never will."
John calls Antonio and tells him about the killer's call. He wants to make sure Nat is okay because the killer seems to know people that John knows. He tells Antonio to keep an eye on Natalie until he gets there.
Natalie feels nervous being at a dinner party because she hasn't done anything like this since Cris died. She tells Jessica that she was happy to hear that John is staying, and she felt a little guilty about that. Jen flirts with Al very seriously as Jessica watches. Al gives Marcie flowers and Jen looks jealous. Ron asks Jen to a movie, but she says they should go dancing.
Rex is surprised to see Jen at Ultra Violet. He says that he thought Jen would be at home crying over chick-flicks and eating ice cream with Miss Piggy. Ron yells at Rex for insulting his sister. Again, Ron suggests that he and Jen go see a movie, but she says she wants to hear Midnight Logic's tribute to Flash. He doesn't believe that's why she really wanted to come to Ultra Violet.
